Location, location, location - Newly remodeled and updated contemporary beach house at the entrance of Silver Beach on Lake Michigan in St. Joseph Michigan. Next to the new Silver Beach carousel / Curious Kids Discovery Zone museum, Silver Beach Amusement Park museum and Shadowland on Silver Beach pavillion (receptions/meetings). We are approximately 1.5 miles from the Harbor Shores golf course across the river in Benton Harbor. You can walk or bike to the course easily for the Sr. PGA. Directly across the street from the Whirlpool Compass Fountain and splash pad. There is so much to see and do below and above the bluff, and this house puts you in the middle of it all. Check in is 4pm on these dates and check out is 11 am.

Combine mutilple families while retaining your 'private space' by using the fully furnished newly remodeled studio guest suite that easily sleeps 4 or more and is separated from the main house. Ample indoor and outdoor parking on the premises including 2 car garage.
Easy walk to downtown St. Joseph(voted Most Romantic City)and steps from the Amtrak train station with daily runs to Chicago, for late arriving guests. So much to do in the immediate area, shopping, eating, playing, walking down the beach or taking a stroll down the pier while making a cast or two.
Main house contains 2 large bedrooms, 2 full baths, large updated kitchen with granite countertops, full suite of appliances, large living room with lots of windows and 2nd floor sitting area, several decks and private balconies all with incredible Lake Michigan and amenity views. The 2 large bedrooms (1 being a first floor master suite) and 2 full baths provide plenty of sleeping area and bathroom space, whether you choose to rest or prepare for a stroll up-town.
Easily sleeps 12 with a master bedroom (king), bunkroom for kids (2 queens and a set of bunk beds), and 2 queen beds in the guest studio. 2 sleeper sofas available in the house and a futon in the guest studio.
House has recently been updated with quality furnishings throughout to provide up-to-date comfort. Picnic table, deck chairs and grill are provided for making the most of your outdoor experience. Multiple decks and private balconies await those who are looking to relax. Or you can take in all of the activity that surrounds this ideal location.

This beach house was perfectly located and an excellent accommodation for families. My siblings and their children all comfortably fit. The rooms are spacious and are all well-kept and appointed. The separate guest suite is absolutely perfect for a small family (or would be good for teenagers, too.) The many decks of the main house showcase great views of the beach. The house is ideally situated close to the beach, downtown shops, bars and restaurants, the park along the river, and, of course, the carousel and fountain. We will definitely stay again-- and look forward to it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Rented during my daughter's wedding next door at Shadowland.. Could not have worked out any better. House, location, everything was perfect! We are already planning another visit. The listing description was great, no hidden surprises. This beach rental was perfect! We rented this home for the weekend of my wedding. Our reception was at the Silver Beach Carousel Building right next door. The night before the wedding, the bridesmaids/bride slept in the main house and the groomsmen/groom slept in the loft above the garage. There was more than enough room for everyone. Some of my favorite memories from that weekend involved being with my friends and family at the rental. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Walking distance to the beach, downtown. The house is beautiful. So much better than any other beach rental I had seen.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

LIsting was very accurate. Property was even better than the pictures. The house and guest house were very clean and everything you will need is included (Dishes, pots n' pans, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, etc.). Owners very, very nice and answered all our questions and were very helpful. I would definetly recommend this property to a friend. We are originally from the St. Joe area and came back to vacation with family so I know the area. This is definately your best bet if you want to be at the heart of it all in St. Joe. The location is key to the house. It was perfect for our family of four. We have a four year old and a few steps to the carousel and splash pad was perfect! The house was immaculate. We did not have to do anything. The house was decorated very tastefully and had all the amenities. We enjoyed evenings on the upper deck overlooking the main road to the beach. We definitely plan on hopefully returning next year but for two weeks instead of one! We loved it!!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My husband & I stayed in the "Garage apartment" this is not your ordinary G.A. , it had everything we needed. Perfect view of the Lake, 2 skylights above the beds.Windows every where. The bathroom shower was fantastic, my husband is tall and it worked perfect. Additional family members stayed in the main house , which was awesome.Lots of room for children and adults. There are balconies facing every direction , but ALL include views of the beach and the lake. You can park your car and walk to everything. The beach is at your front door ! The children activities will tire them out for a good nights rest. Both the house and the Guest Apart, where clean and very well maintained. We have rented houses in The Florida Keys and this property gave us the feeling of being there! We ate at Silver Beach Pizza, the menu had a variety of items, which is about a block away, we walked to Downtown St Joseph for a Chicago Style Hot Dogs. Several of great restaurants on every street. We highly recommend this property for a great family vacation. Wish we could have stayed longer !Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a property!! If location is everything, this house has it all. Spent time there with old friends and had one of the best getaways in a long time. The house has recently been renovated and the new owners have done it right!, new appliances, furniture and a feeling of being comfortably "at home".
