Year Purchased: 2008
I was born in El Salvador, but I grew up in the US and have lived in Southern Oregon for most of my life. I had always dreamed of having a second home in the tropics, close to my native roots. I had heard a lot about Roatan for many years and finally took the time to visit the island in 2007 for the first time. I fell in love with the island, particularly, West bay Beach. It was on this trip that I wondered into Infinity Bay, met the developers who also happen to be Oregon Ducks fans and I was immediately convinced this would be my second home.
National Geographic has named Roatan in the top 10 places to visit in 2011
Why the Owner Chose West Bay Beach
I purchased in Phase I because it is closer to the beach and pool. I also chose the second floor for the amazing views, which includes a view of the ocean. I also picked this unit and floor plan because it is the right size me and up to 5 guests. The floor plan flows nicely, and it feels like a home away from home.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
I enjoy having all the amenities of home, washer, dryer, TV, AC, internet, clean hot water and so on. I also like the proximity to the pool and the beach.

My wife and two kids (6 and 2) stayed in this unit in June of this year. I can't say enough about great our vacation was. The complex is beautiful and is in a fantastic location on West Bay. The reef was literally 50 or so yards off the shore for great snorkeling. The service at Infinity Bay was a little spotty, but no different than the rest of the island. The unit was spacious and clean and was everything we thought it would be. Claudia was great to work with and was very responsive when we had an access issue to the washer and dryer when we first got there. Speaking of that, the washer and dryer is a very nice addition to the trip and allowed us to bring much fewer clothes. All in all, this was the best vacation we have ever taken as a family and we will be back... hopefully in this unit. Thanks, Claudia!

The resort is gorgeous and the pictures are exactly what you can expect. The resort is right on the beach and the pool is to die for. The staff is very accommodating and available at all times. The restaurant at the resort is great but you also have other great options if you want to eat out. I recommend "The Lighthouse". It's owned by locals and the food is incrdible!!! My husband and I traveled with my 18 month old twins along with another couple and my mother. The condo had plenty of space for all of us and it had all the amenities you need. With kids, we had plenty of snacks and cooked breakfast and a couple of lunches. You have all you need in the kitchen with a lot of space. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom with pleny of space between the bedrooms which gives each couple plenty of privacy. The pull out sofa is big and very comfortable. The condo is on the third floor and we did have some issues with the elevator but the staff was right on it when we reported the problem and fixed it the same day. The elevator is great if you have kids or if you are traveling with somebody with a disability. We had both so having the elevator was a plus for us. We have family in Roatan and we did rent a car to make sure we could get around the island. The island is not very big, but you will need some form of transportation if you are planning on seeing the entire island. If not, you can easily get around in taxi since you are in the nicest part of the Island and you do have a small shop with grocery items within walking distance. I recommend this resort for anybody! So far this has become our best vacation. We enjoyed it more then our trip to Hawaii.

We stayed in this unit our second time returning to Infinity Bay. Again, had a wonderful experience and this condo was perfect for our needs. Spacious and private for 2 couples (separate bathrooms and walls are not ultra thin). The unit overlooks the backend of the beautiful Infinity pool and is a very short walk to the beach or to your car/out. Would highly recommend and found Claudia a real pleasure to work with as well!

We really enjoyed our stay at Infinity Bay. The condo is beautiful, clean and located at the best resort in Roatan. It is just steps away from the beautiful beach and there is a huge pool perfect for the family. We were able to snorkel right there on the beach--no need for a boat. There are restaurants within walking distance. The service at the resort was friendly and very accommodating. Check in was easy and they even took us to the grocery store on their shuttle when we arrived at the airport. Very different from other resorts that tend to nickel and dime you. Claudia, the owner, was extremely responsive to all our questions and processed our reservation quickly. I was very impressed....we will definitely be going back soon!
