My family and I rented this house for the Spring Release weekend for the second year in a row. We again found the house charming and the location ideal. The only drawback was that the electricity was not working in the second bedroom downstairs, so no lights or ability to plug anything in (to charge cell phones, etc.) It didn't turn out to be a big deal because the people staying in that room were just using it to sleep, but still, electricity is important.
Owner response:We are so sorry you had this problem. The cause was a tripped breaker - such a quick and easy fix. Our property manager is just a phone call away if anything in the house does not work as expected. We hope you'll forgive the inconvenience and come back next year. Ted and Joyce

We loved the house. Charming and quiet with a lovely backyard area for grilling. Plenty of safe storage for the bikes and really close to downtown.
Owner response:Thanks for taking the time to post your review. We are happy that our home worked well for you. I am sorry we weren't in town to see the race.

This is my second stay in this tastefully decorated and comfortable residence and I am sure I will be back again. A quiet neighborhood that is easily within walking distance to great restaurants, wine tasting rooms and the general downtown area, it was a relaxing and stress free visit. From breakfast to cocktails under the gazebo, it is a calm and refreshing change from the faster paced world west of the mountains. You can tell that the owners take pride in their home and are generous to share it with strangers. I would recommend this retreat to anyone!

Stayed with another couple and was a great value. Big basement with bedrooms allowed each couple to have plenty of their own own space. Close to downtown for walking to dinner, grocery, Starbucks, etc. Even closer to the ball field where the Walla Walla Sweets play baseball. League is mainly college players on their summer break. Great way to spend a summer evening including beer and walla walla sweet sausages. Backyard private and great spot for a glass of wine before heading into to town for dinner. Added bonus Duck Fat Inn manages property and so u can have access to their incredible dinners.

Fabulous home that when you first drive up to looks like a quaint cottage. In walking in the finish work is amazing. Great kitchen for entertaining & cooking!!! Floor plan works for families or several couples. One of the high points is the location. For all that goes on in Walla Walla, ( art's & entertainment ) this home puts you within walking distance to downtown & Whitman Campus & of course summer baseball!!! Not one detail has been missed in the charming home!
Owner response:Thank you, Cheryl, for your kind words. We hope that when you next have out-of-town visitors you will once again refer them to our home. Ted

We stayed at the cottage in Walla Walla in the Fall 2010. It was a wonderful experience. The house is roomy and easily accommodates 6 people. The house is arranged so 3 couples can each have privacy. The cottage is extremely clean! and well maintained. Attention to detail is seen throughout the house and property. The interior is tastefully decorated with high end appliances, woodwork, stone, linens and original art. It is well located for a short walk to town. Town has great restaurants, wineries, galleries, a public market and more. There are numerous wineries within the town and outside of town. The landscape of the Walla Walla region is beautiful with the Blue Hills. We had a great time staying at the cottage and would highly recommend it to a couple, group of couples or a family.
Owner response:Thank you, Sara, for taking the time to post this review. We are elated that you enjoyed our house, and also that you like Walla Walla! T & J

My boyfriend and I visited this cottage last year with some of our friends for a much needed Walla Walla wine tasting getaway. Let me just say that we were more than pleased with our stay! We really can't recommend it enough, and are looking forward to the next time we're in town so we'll be able to stay here again!

A bunch of girlfriends and I met here (somewhat in the middle of where we all live) for a fantastic weekend away. The house is adorable and had everything we needed to cook meals in and relax on the patio. It was close enough to town that we could walk to wineries and restaurants and was in good proximity to highway access. We had a great time and will definitley be back, maybe with our husbands this time!
Owner response:Randi...and Friends, We are pleased that you enjoyed your time at our cottage. If there is anything we can do to make your next visit even more enjoyable, please let us know.

Stayed at this very comfortable cottage on a driving trip through the Northwest with my sister. We thought it looked very inviting from the website, and were delighted to find that it was even better! The furnishings were very comfortable & in good taste and well thought out as to what needs any guest might have. Loved that we could walk to town & really get a feel of what WW has to offer without having to get in the car & hope for the best. Great food... and wine... and shopping & sightseeing. It is very roomy & we ended up inviting some friends from the Seattle area to come up and enjoy it with us for a couple of days. It was obvious that the owners put a lot of thought and care into renovating this home to make it comfortable & "homey". I will certainly visit WW again as it was my first visit there, but won't be my last! And, when I do go again, I hope that this rental will still be available.
Owner response:Thanks for your kind words. We try to make our house as inviting as possible, and it looks like it worked well for you. These Traveler Reviews are important to us, so that potential visitors will know what to look forward to. We hope you will visit AGK Cottage again soon! Ted & Joyce

My sisters and I stayed at this cottage while in Walla Walla for a wedding. The cottage is very clean and tidy. The kitchen is wonderful and had everything that we needed to prepare what few meals that we ate there, as it is in walking distance to great restaurants. We walked for coffee, ran through Whitman campus to Pioneer Park, shopped locally and were able to fully appreciate all that Walla Walla has to offer on foot due to the close-in location of the cottage. The beds and linens are wonderful as well. We will look forward to staying at the cottage again! This cottage exceeded our expectations,

We had a great stay at the AGK Cottage for a weekend away from the big city! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our own meals, the beds were as comfortable as a hotel, and the home very well decorated. It really felt like a home away from home! You will really enjoy barbequeing with friends in the private fenced back yard or relaxing on the sofa with a book in front of the gas fireplace on a chilly night. It is a short walk from the grocery store and a number of tasting rooms if you plan on wine tasting! Whatever you plan on doing while staying in Walla Walla you won't be disappointed staying at the AGK Cottage!!

This cute house just minutes away from Whitman College and Borleske Field in Walla Walla was so easy to rent and was the perfect rental for our stay! Starting with the front porch sitting area where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the neighborhood views, the inside was spacious and newly remodeled. Interior spaces were very functional and had much more room that one would have thought just looking from the outside. All three rooms had more than ample space and the TV area downstairs was comfortable as was the upstairs sitting areas! Having a separate gathering space for the younger crowd was great as was the sitting areas upstairs for those of us wanting to kick back and relax or enjoy a quiet conversation! The kitchen was well designed with nice appliances. Furniture selections were the perfect size for the areas and the entire house was immaculate! The biggest surprise was the huge backyard and patio area with BBQ that one would never expect to find just looking from the outside. A great place to hold a family gathering! We invited friends over during our stay and they rented the house the very next morning for a future visit to Walla Walla! Whether you're coming to Walla Walla for a college campus visit, to catch a Sweets baseball game or to enjoy some wine tasting, this is a "grandslam" rental property that we thoroughly enjoyed!

We just returned from a wonderful weekend in Walla Walla. The location is excellent, a short walk to the core of downtown. The property is well represented in the pictures. We stayed in the house for two nights, with six people and it was the perfect size. We stayed in the second night and made dinner and the house comes with all the utencils and pots, pan, etc. that you will need! Would for sure stay here again!
Owner response:Thanks for your support. I hope you will keep us in mind for your next visit to the WW Valley. And tell your friends about us!
