My wife and I spent five nights in this lovely apartment. It was better than expected and spotlessly clean. Although just a few steps from Water St., with great restaurants and shops, it was quiet and private. The back fenced in patio was a nice place to have our morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. We did not find parking a problem with our SUV and kayaks on top, even though the street is narrow. We were thrilled to learn we could launch our kayaks near the fish pier which is at the end of the street. Carolyn, the manager, was very welcoming and helpful with info on the area. Can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

My wife and I spent four weeks in this wonderful place. Loved every minute. Walked to great restaurants and enjoyed wonderful seafood. Stonington is a very friendly town with much to see and do. Can't express how much we enjoyed ourselves.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

I stayed in this studio a few weeks ago (this was my first experience with HomeAway) and was VERY pleasantly surprised. The studio was completely renovated, clean, charming and private. The owner was welcoming and had a lot of great advice on what to do and see in Stonington. This studio is in one of the original buildings in the town and had a great sense of history. I recommend picking up a walking tour map from the owner. It's a great way to experience this beautiful little town. I highly recommend this place!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Not sure which we enjoyed more - the beautiful studio or Stonington! The studio was wonderful. So comfortable, amazing details, perfect location. In the center of the village, we could walk everywhere including the beach! Stonington is like going back in time, including the friendly people. Can't believe how much we loved it off season. We're going back this summer and can't wait!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
