  Sweet Cabin in the peace and quiet of the country in the middle of an orchard. Close to freeway and Mt Airy, Super Friendly Owners.The baked goods were all delicious. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your little corner of the world!! Kim and Bryan

  We loved the area, the view was Awesome. We loved the house, just not there much. It was farther from the wedding than I realized, but we would stay there again if in Mt. Airy. My daughter and I also loved Round Peak Winery which was a few miles away.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  A wonderful place to stay! This cottage is brand new on the inside and very clean. We were there over July 4th weekend and loved every minute of our stay from the cottage to the downtown attractions. Among all the little extras that we provided througout the cottage we were also brought a festive platter of desserts from the owner to celebrate the holiday! What more could you ask for?!

  If I had to use only one word to describe this vacation house, it would have to be FANTASTIC!! It is the most serene, peaceful, comfortable place I've ever stayed in and I have rented many, many in my lifetime.You can sit on the front patio or on the back deck and see the trees in the orchard and in the distance is a beautiful view of the mountains. This is definitely God's country. The house is decorated with much thought given to the comfort of the visitor and well stocked with essentials one might need.It being summer we couldn't use the fireplace but I imagined how lovely it would be at night curled up on the sofa with the front door open just looking up at the stars and enjoying the quiet. In the morning you might hear a rooster crow - certainly not what the big city sounds are. The town of Mt. Airy is just a few miles away and offers plenty of entertainment for the whole family. Kudos to the owners for allowing others to enjoy this great place.

  This sweet rustic cottage is everything and more that the website describes and the pictures show! Spotless and cozy, it is full of folk decorations, interesting furniture and real flowers in vases throughout the house! The kitchen and living area are one large and open space, with an incredible, work-of-art stone fireplace. The old fashioned black footed bathtub is perfect for a soak, but there is also a shower for those on the run. Beautiful and peaceful, the property surrounding the cottage is full of all different types of fruit trees and rolling country with views of the mountains. It is extremely private -- there are no other houses or buildings around, other than the barn, a few animals and a beautiful farm house. All of this within a mile of major roads and interstates. The owners wanted us to have a great stay -- their special touch included some zucchini and apricots fresh from their orchard and garden! They answered all questions that we had by email before the trip and were very welcoming -- we were pleased to have an opportunity to meet them! I highly recommend this property for a great vacation stay, very close to downtown Mt Airy and other places of interest in North Carolina. The Andy Griffith museum was quite interesting and a tour in the old police car was enlightening and a lot of fun, in downtown Mt. Airy! Winston Salem is not too far away.
