My name is Leon Hasenjager and together with my wife Rosemary, we own Hasenjager’s Country Chalet. We would love to welcome you to our chalet. Located between Egg Harbor and Fish Creek, it’s on a nice quiet road, which is great for biking or walking. You can walk to local farm market, and only ½ mile to the new Orchards Golf Course, Restaurant & Driving Range. Enjoy the many shops in the area. We are close to Peninsula Park, Peninsula Players, Birch Creek Music Theater, American Folklore in the Park Theater and many other interesting activities.
Nestled among the pines on a wooded lot for your complete privacy, the chalet has a large yard and outside deck with a picnic table and grill. For the children there is a playground area with swing set and sandbox.
The chalet can accommodate up to nine people. It has a loft with a queen-size bed and a twin bed. The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed. It has a large family room and a large living room area. Each has a queen-size sofa bed. There are two bathrooms. Just the perfect size for a couple or for the large family, or share with another couple and split the cost.
The well-equipped kitchen has all the utensils you will need plus a dishwasher and a microwave. A large refrigerator and a full size stove. For your enjoyment there are two color TV’s and a VCR & DVD player. Along with central air conditioning and heat, there is a wood burning fireplace and we furnish the wood. Added in 2005 washer & dryer. Great for the spring, summer & fall season. We are open May through October. Check in time is 3:00 P.M. and check out is 10:00 A.M. Linens are provided. No towels, no daily maid service and no pets.
Prices are for four adults, $750.00 per week for weekly rentals and $135.00 per night for daily rentals. July and August are by the week only. (Usually three-night minimum for daily rentals is required.) Children 12 and under stay free when with parents. A $10.00 per night charge for each additional person. A one nights rent is required as a deposit for daily rental and $300.00 deposit per week for weekly rentals. Your deposit has to be received by us in seven days from booking. Deposits will only be returned if your cancellation can be filled. We accept M/C and Visa credit cards.

Loved the Chalet...we'll be back! Beautiful, secluded wooded area with deer passing thru your back yard! There's a fresh market within a 5 minute walk from the chalet...organic eggs, brats, jams, milk...etc. Also, if you like to golf there's two great courses just 7 minutes away by car. The four of us had our own sleeping areas and the guys and ladies had their own private bathroom. The chalet is very roomy and the large deck is great for hanging out to read or relax. It is a very clean place and the landlords are just a block away if you need anything or have questions. I was surprised that many home neccesities were provided: toilet paper, dish towels, firewood, hangers, iron, hair dryer, etc. The fully stocked kitchen included all cookware and even spices. The HD flatscreen tv is great for watching those late night dvds while eating popcorn. But I suggest camping out on the porch at night and watching the spectacular starry skies! All in all, this country chalet is a great place because of location, cleanliness, ammenities, and value.
