  I stayed at this awesome condo last August with my husband and son.We absolutely loved it!!!Couldn`t have asked for more! The condo was very nicely decorated and roomy enough so that we didn`t fall over all of our stuff (you know how much stuff you "need" to take to the beach! :)) The best part was that this condo is on the ground level so you can just leave your beach gear on the porch and grab it when you go back!And you don`t have all the sand inside the condo either!(well.when you`re at the beach the sand WILL go everywhere! :)) The condo was very clean and well stocked.We had enough towels to last the whole week and if/when we needed something the housekeeper delivered it asap. My son loved his own little room with his own TV! I would highly recommend this condo!The best beach vacation ever!!!

  I'm almost too selfish to tell anyone about this place! My family and I have been coming to this condo once a year for the last 6 years now. This has become my favorite condo on the beach! The condo is gorgeous and (with it's granite counter tops and personal decor) so much homier than a stale hotel room. The extra little bedroom is perfect for my 5-yr-old son. He doesn't have a TV/DVR in his room at home- and he feels spoiled being able to watch a movie in his room at the beach! The views are better than the pictures! This condo sits directly on the beach- closer than any other hotel or condo in the area. My son was fascinated with watching the kite surfers fly by on the ocean and sky divers fall from the sky right in front of the condo. On our last morning we watched a pod of dolphins swim in close to the beach as they fished for breakfast. The pelicans are always fun to watch too! The open air beach bar (Clayton's) next door is perfect. Being able to walk next door for a little live music, drinks and dinner (or lunch) couldn't be more convenient or enjoyable. My husband and I love the retro charm of the Tiki building- the landscaping definitely has a Polynesian feel. The pools are just the right size. It's right across the street from the turtle reserve- a must see for my son. He loves seeing the baby turtles. Lastly, the owner, Peggy, is always wonderful to work with. She is quick to respond to any need (there is also an on-site manager for this specific condo). Having come for the last 6 years I can tell that it is very important to Peggy that you enjoy your stay at the condo. Thank you once again Peggy for an incredible vacation!   This island condo is everything I hoped it would be!!! It's nestled right on the beach, is very clean, well maintained, with comfortable couch/beds and nice linens, all necessary amenities, and a dash of sophisticated beach style -PERFECT! The view is priceless as you can see from the pictures -it's the best you can get on the island, you won't be disappointed. This trip was just my husband and I, but we'll definitely be back with our 4 year old next time. We love the easy access to the beach and when she's tired of the salt water/waves, there are two nice pools for a change of pace, plus the bunk bed room has it's own flat screen! We also appreciated that there was a charming cabana bar serving food just a short walk down the beach- with live music!! For those bringing little ones, this place is kid friendly too. The first day we arrived it was raining, but we didn't mind because there is wifi, cable TV, a comfy couch, chair, bed, .all calling our names, so who could complain about lounging as you listen to the ocean and the rain. Here's the Bottom Line; if you are looking for a relaxing, romantic, retreat, or a comfortable place to escape with your family - this place has got you covered in a great way. Book it now, or someone else will!

  My review will be updated when we actually spend time at the property, but my husband and I just wanted to attest to the amazing owners of this condo. We booked for a week thinking it was near Corpus Christi (we were new to the area and had just moved back to the US from overseas). The description sounded perfect and we were looking forward to our visit. Once we entered the property into our GPS, however, we learned that it was about 5 hours away from where we thought it was. Five hours is an unbearable commute, to say the least, and we were forced to call (on very short notice) to cancel our reservations. Peggy was amazingly sweet and understanding of our problem and refunded our entire amount (although, by all means, she didn't have to). Thank you, Peggy, so much for being so kind and we plan on visiting your property soon! Updates (and, I imagine, very happy memories) to follow when we do!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.

  We stayed at the condo for a week this August and it was wonderful! It was clean, maintained and recently updated. The view is spectacular since there is nothing between the condo and the beach. We hope to make this an annual trip!

  Being able to look out at the ocean, smell the ocean and hear the ocean waves from the condo is the best part. Sitting out on the balcony reading a book was perfect! The condo was clean and the beds were unbelievably comfortable (no cheap mattresses-that's a rare find). I never slept so good! Heated pool! We had a really wonderful and relaxing time!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  The photos do not convey just how beautiful of a view you'll have from this condo's balcony. I encourage you to get up early to catch the sunrises, of which you have a wide and unobstructed view for miles on out. The condo itself was clean when we arrived with all facilities in working order. The beach is just down the stairs and a few yards walk across the property's yard. No public parking to deal with and no dunes to traverse. The newly renovated bathroom was well stocked with amenities. Plenty of clean white towels, toilet paper and premium toiletries. The kitchen was just as well stocked with plates, cups and everything you need to cook your own meals. And the new dishwasher can wash large loads while being whisper quiet. Here are a few things to note about the condo: -Keep in mind that the ocean's salt water is hard on any building, and this condo has endured the same, so don't fret about a little weathering here and there; everything is functional and quite hospitable. -As mentioned in another review, this condo is located on the 3rd floor. The stairs' angle is quite tame, but people with knee injuries or arthritis may find it difficult to make multiple rounds of the two flights of stairs. -The key lock box can be unlatched from the doorknob once opened so you'll have an easier time going in and out. -There is a rugged charcoal grill just north of the condo building; complete with a picnic table atop a concrete slab. My family had an absolutely great time and were completely happy with the condo. The owner is quick to respond with any questions I had and is very easy to work with. From the looks of the new renovations, I can tell the owner has grand plans for this condo and we can't wait to return here next year.

  Our week was amazing! The location couldn't be better, the view is stunning and the place is very well kept. We had everything we needed and it was nice and quiet. Even though the weather was cloudy and rainy some days, we fully enjoyed our stay. We will be back next year for sure!

  This condo is the closest to the beach that you can get on the island. That was #1 on my list. The beach is just steps away with no sand dunes in between the building and the beach. The condo itself was very nice. The owner has recently remodeled the bathroom with new granite, tile, and fixtures. Very nice. The bedroom has 2 comfortable queen beds that has everything new from mattresses to covers. I had a wonderful stay in this condo. Also, there is no elevator to this condo. The owner informed me of the stairs when I booked. It's only two flights of stairs, but........ I keep forgeting I'm 64 and my knees are going bad. Overall, it was a great place.
