Of course, the various wineries await you as well. It’s the perfect atmosphere to bond with friends and family.
Of course, the summer provides you with all the amenities you would expect for that perfect
vacation experience. Enjoy the 20’ X 40 ‘ in ground pool filtered by mineral springs for better health. The pool is open from Memorial Day through September, weather permitting. Teak lounges and tables compliment the pool area. Extra portable lounges and chairs are provided. Barbecue your meals on the gas grill and enjoy eating them at our outdoor antique glass top table with chairs on our oversized bluestone patio. Play “horseshoes” on our “pathway to nature”.
Our Dream Home was designed and decorated for our family. It has five bedrooms including a Master Suite w/ Jacuzzi on the main floor. The shower in the master bathroom has dual spray shower heads for a luxurious shower. There are 3 full bathrooms, 2 with double sinks. Four of the bedrooms have high end luxurious queen sized mattresses and bedding that would envy 5 star hotels. One bedroom is extra large with 4 twin beds for children or adults to enjoy. They can watch TV or their favorite DVD’s. There are games for them to play or they can bring their own. There’s plenty of room for them to have fun. If you prefer, reconfigure the twin beds to suit your needs. Every bedroom has cable TV.
The Great Room contains an upscale, professionally designed Home Theater System with a 50” plasma TV and cable. If you are so inclined, tickle the ivories on the baby grand piano or simply sit by the fireplace and enjoy your favorite beverage. There are two large sofas and 3 chairs for ample seating.
The Sitting Room contains an upscale pull-out sofa with a deluxe mattress if needed. Sit at the desk if you need to do office work. The house has Wi-Fi, so use your laptop anywhere. Even the dining room has a sofa for that “quiet time”.
Our spacious gourmet kitchen will inspire your culinary senses. Have great conversation with others as they sit on the bar stools around the kitchen island. As you might expect, the utensils are totally upscale. Fisheries contain a wide variety of seafood caught daily by local fishermen. Enjoy the luxury of having fresh fruits and vegetables from the local farm stands. Of course, the plentiful wineries are sure to have that bottle of wine that goes perfectly with whatever meal you prepare. There is a very large dining table adjoining the kitchen.
Additional seasonal activities include: golfing, boating, fishing, antiquing, horseback riding, park with basketball courts, carousel, and nature walks.
This is not a house. This is a home.” “ This was the best vacation our family ever had”. These were just two comments made by previous guests. We wanted everyone in our family to experience how special it feels when they are here. Why not you? Relax, play or work. Whatever you choose, let your senses unwind, your soul fill with peace and serenity and your dreams come true as they do for us. Our Dream Home awaits you.

THE BEAUTIFUL HOME IN EAST MARION - September 21-23, 2012. Valley Stream North High School 1968 - Girls Getaway. My friends & I planned our weekend Girls Getaway months in advance. We yearned for that much needed time away from our day-to-day lives & times to be together. Enamored by the photo gallery on the web site, we talked about "the house out East" with eager anticipation. Our cars filled with yummy snacks & food, tasty ingredients for meals we'd prepare, & wine just waiting to be uncorked, in car pools, we set out on our mini-vacation. So many vacation settings promise so much and fall short. Reaching the driveway, we already knew we loved the peaceful surroundings & were "home". Rocking chairs on the porch were inviting. Opening the front door, we heard the laughter of our friends. From the lovely dining room to the spacious kitchen to the great Great Room, it was evident that we had found a gem. The Welcome Basket set on the kitchen island, filled with wine & goodies offered a warm greeting. Glancing out to the backyard, the wooded area & a two deer-sighting made us take a longer look at the alluring serenity. The laundry room & bathroom were nicer than we could have imagined. Taking a tour of the Master Suite, the decor in the bedroom, with sitting area, was perfect & the roomy bathroom had top-end amenities. Upstairs, four bedrooms & two bathrooms, beautifully decorated, begged us to nap, watch television or curl up with books. The balcony view to the Great Room was magnificent & from there we saw the elegant grand piano. My friends & I had planned on taking advantage of the local assets: a day-long wine excursion, which included lunch & tours of three wineries & dinner at a Greenport restaurant. Evidence tha we felt so at home in this comfortable house, we canceled the restaurant reservations, opting to enjoy leisurely group cooking & then dining outside on the attractive patio. For almost three days, this spectacular house was our home & was as important to our Girls Getaway weekend as each one of us was. Soaking in the treed beauty, we sat back, relaxed around the backyard table & enjoyed unwinding. Replete with perfect surroundings inside & out, our vacation haven helped us make everlasting memories. We also complimented ourselves on finding such a spectacular "home" with a promise to return.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

The weekend of our girls get-away started with a snow storm - laughably, this kept the traffic on the expressway to a minimum and started our trip off perfectly. What a wonderful home - warm, cozy and perfect for our celebration. Centrally located to get in and out of Greenport, Orient and the vineyards - we truly enjoyed ourselves. The owner was wonderful, leaving us bottles of the local wines to try as an introduction to the North Fork. The 10 of us laughed, enjoyed cozy breakfasts and cocktail hours and truly 'lived' in this beautiful home. Every one of us wished it was warmer weather just to use the outdoor space! We will be back! Thank you for the hospitality - and the use of this beautifully appointed home.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

After searching for the perfect get away home on Long Island, we chose this amazing house in East Marion. Three generations from across the country met here to spend a first birthday celebration for my grandson. The house far exceeded its description on the internet and was a perfect home for us for the week. The house was well equipped for all our needs, especially the kitchen. The pool was lovely, as was the surrounding area. The owners were fantastic to deal with and we felt like we knew them. This is the best home we have rented from VRBO to date. Don't pass it up. Thanks for sharing your house with us, Joan and Ed.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Hi Brandon, Thank you so much for such an awesome review. Our goal is to have our guests experience what we do when our family gathers. It pleases us so much when our guests tell us that we reached that goal. You all were just wonderful. We could not have asked for more than what you provided as special people. We sincerely hope we can host you again in the future. All the best to you and your family, Joan & Ed

I rented this amazing home for the weekend of my daughter's wedding. It was perfect...the pictures do not do it justice. The house is very warm and inviting...we felt like we were "Home". Everything and anything we needed was available at this home. The owners left a bottle of wine and fresh strawberry's for use to enjoy, and they strung wedding decorations from the balcony above the living room! The backyard is beautiful and the heated pool was perfect for all to enjoy and unwind after the wedding. The owners are a joy to deal with and we look forward to renting this home again in the near future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Richard, I could not have asked for a better review. It was so kind of you and greatly appreciated. Joan & I could not be happier, especially for the bride and groom. In fact, after reading your review I was thinking of renting the place myself! Enjoy your summer. Please say "hello" to Leslie for us.

Our group of very old friends gets together regularly, and this was by far our most luxurious and memorable reunion. This stunning, charming home lacked nothing. The owners are delightful hosts who’ve anticipate residents’ every need. Not only was the media center’s television and sound outstanding, but each pleasantly decorated bedroom boasted its own wall-mounted flat screen unit with cable. The kitchen offered a spacious and well-appointed work area, every cooking tool and appliance we could possibly want, and plenty of dining space. The patio, heated pool, and stunning views helped make our stay a most welcome escape from workaday stresses. We couldn’t imagine a better choice on the North Fork or most anywhere else, for that matter.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We rented this beautiful home for our wedding weekend on the North Fork. We were so impressed with our experience. We arrived to a lovely card, chocolates and bottle of wine from the owners. The house and the property are exquisite. There was plenty of space to sleep our entire bridal party and their dates. Every room is beautifully decorated with a mix contemporary and antique furniture. The master suite was incredible. Our getting ready pictures had the perfect back drop and I could have spent the whole weekend in that bathtub! The spacious kitchen was great for entertaining, we had a catered brunch the day after our wedding and the chefs loved it! The outside of the house rivals the inside. The front porch with rocking chairs was a peaceful place to enjoy my morning cup of coffee. The yard is huge, the patio has plenty of seating and a great gas grill. We and our guests really enjoyed swimming the heated pool. It was nice and warm even on the chilly September nights. All in all we had an amazing time. The only thing we missed was internet access.(it was locked) Our guests were so impressed and are still talking about this beautiful home. The owners Ed and Joan were a pleasure. We hope to rent from them again next year. If you rent this house you will not be disappointed. I would give 10 stars if it was an option! ~A very happy Bride :)Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a fantastic week in this East Marion home! It was perfect for our family of 5 (with room to spare). The home was well maintained, clean and stocked with necessary supplies. The pool and patio area were the focus of our time at 'home' - beautiful! - while the surrounding area, including the golf, beaches, Greenport and wineries were very accessible and provided plenty of activities. The owners couldn't have been nicer - answered all our questions and were welcoming and accommodating. Relaxing, comfortable experience overall. Look forward to a repeat visit!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Stayed at this beautiful home in East Marion for a week in August with four generations of our family members. Enjoyed the excellent pool, backyard, well stocked kitchen and barbecue. The well stocked (equipment wise) kitchen came especially in handy as we like to make several elaborate meals when we vacation together. The beds were comfortable, the house and outdoor spaces were clean and the owners responsive and friendly. Although some family members drove in, out of town members took the Hampton Jitney which dropped them off literally a ten minute walk from the front door, which was very convenient and saved them the additional expense of a rental car. We have stayed at various locations throughout the North Fork over the last several years and this home was easily the nicest of the bunch! Easy access to Orient Point, Greenport and Shelter Island. Plenty of things to do in the area for all members of the family - farm stands, carousel in Greenport, wine tasting at the several vineyards, outlet shopping in Riverhead, petting zoo at Harbes and an unforgettable meal at the North Fork Table and Inn one evening. Great seafood to be had nearby and some family members even went whale watching in Montauk. At at the end of the day, a comfortable home to come back to and gather together in. Those who are in to electronics will appreciate the gorgeous flat screen TV's and outdoor sound system. You can't go wrong with this location and vacation rental. Enjoy! We definitely did.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
