  We stayed at this condo for 8 days with a 5 adults. From the very beginning we liked this place for its cleanliness and convenience. Everything we needed for our stay was made available to us. The kitchen is fully equipped and the appliances are all brand new and state-of-the-art. There is a well functioning A/C, which always kept our condo at a refreshing temperature regardless of how hot is was outside. In addition, there was a fan in every room and in both of the bathrooms. Having a washer and dryer was also great and I realized after we arrived that I could have packed much lighter. This complex is right across the street from an excellent beach club and a beautiful beach. It literally takes 1 minute to walk there. The Ibis also provided free WiFi, which was great. The supermarket and town is only a 10-15 minutes walk if you are not lazy, but security will call you a taxi if you need one. There are several restaurants in a walking distance, such as the Langosta Beach Club, Sangria and Kahiki, which were all excellent. The property manager, Bob, was also very nice and extremely helpful. He met us in person upon arrival, showed around the apartment and always made himself available if we had any questions or concerns. He also arranged all of our transportation and gave us many great suggestions. We highly recommend this place and company. We feel that renting a condo is a much better choice for the family than the hotel, because for the same amount of money or less, you actually get more room, privacy and comfort. Try it and you'll love it!

  The pictures do not do this place justice!! It is spacious, well appointed with high end appliances & everything you would need for your stay, along with comfortable beds and pillows; spotlessly clean. When we did have any problems or questions the management agent was there immediately. The building/grounds were maintained and the 24hr security was extremely helpful with packages/luggage. The beach club, right across the street, was such a great asset as the waves on the beach were a bit much for my 5 year old. There are frequent inexpensive local buses that stop close to the property but since there are no formal schedules, which I could find on-line, you will have to ask either the drivers or the locals as to their schedules and asking in Spanish would help; this is a much, much cheaper alternative to taxis, which can be expensive in this area. One supermarket I recommend is the AutoMercado but again you cannot walk there and need some form of transportation which I am thankful to the management agent for the ride round-trip. We did encounter some glitches which one cannot blame on the owner or are just a result of regular wear & tear: a) we could not access the apartment's WiFi but we were able to access someone else's in the building b) the refrigerator ice maker was not working although we were able to make ice the old fashion way which took a day or two c) the A/C thermostat was not working as well, so to shut off the A/C we had to cut the power at the circuit breaker but most nights we did not need the A/C only during the day time d) one has to keep in mind that you are in the middle of the jungle and creepy crawly things abound and I am more than sure that this is a problem throughout this whole region (exclusive property or not) but we had a 4 legged visitor nightly as well as insects which easily slipped in from the big gaps under the sliding doors e) it is a walk to town but not too far, I do recommend some form of transportation be it ATV, bicycle, moped, or car which will also save on the costs to the airport round-trip which can be more than $140 f) the condo does not have a working phone so it is recommended to rent a cell phone while in CR if you are going to stay a while, it will help when booking transportation & excursions. All in all I believe if you are a nature lover this is the place for you and would have given this place an excellent rating but for the problems we encountered. I would recommend this place!

  My husband and I stayed here with another couple and it was perfect! We particularly enjoyed looking over the estuary & canopy from the living room deck which had comfy chairs and a ceiling fan that kept it cool and bug free. From the deck we saw monkeys, white heron, lots of singing birds and yes, even an Ibis. In fact, this was our favorite place to hang out in the morning and at sunsets. My friend's husband is a gourmet chef and he loved the kitchen with all its culinary advantages. The washer & dryer in the unit was most convienient and allowed us to go on to our next destination with clean clothes. We spent our days on the beach and at the beach club cabanas. They would even bring out umbrellas and serve us food & cocktails on the beach, the pool was amazing and the ammenities excellent. We had surf lessons with a local insctructor Rudy and everyone stood up and rode the waves.Cowabunga! The night life was loco, as in "Mono Loco" ( The Crazy Monkey). We were sad to leave and have already booked next year for a longer stay. Pura Vida!!!!!

  Recently stayed at this condo and was pleasantly surprised, the condo itself was fully equipped and with beautiful furnishings. The property managers were excellent could not have been more accomadating they even drove us to the grocery store and catered to our every need. The beach club is spectacular right at the beach front of a most popular surf & swimming spot and the food was excellent. It was only a five minute walk to town where there are a multitude of shops and restuarants. we walked along the beach into town on many occassions. This the one of the best holidays ever and plan on returning next year. Thanks to those who know how to provide a quality product.

  The place itself was very nice. Access to the beach club is a plus. However, the master bedroom is along the road and it is loud with traffic noise starting around 5:30AM. Even though it is only a 10 minute walk to downtown, this gets old, especially if you want to buy groceries.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
