  After searching all over the place, my wife and I settled on Tailwaters Ridge for a quiet romantic weekend getaway. Mark was great to work with prior to arriving - responsive to emails and answered all my questions. When we arrived, the place was pristine. It's quite a bit bigger than it appears in the photos - the downstairs area is almost a cabin by itself. Beds were comfy and the view is breathtaking! The hot tub was awesome - if you turn out the lights, you can see SO many stars. The kitchen is well-appointed and had everything we needed, including wine glasses/corkscrew/etc. It's probably not great for little kids though - anyone under 8-10 would be concerning, as the railing on the deck is low and there's lots of steep hills/drop-offs. The cabin is about 10 miles from Eureka Springs, but it's winding roads - plan about 30-45 minutes to actually drive it. There's tons to do in Eureka Springs, including some awesome restaurants. HIGHLY recommend Ermilio's - it was amazing. We will definitely be back, and will be recommending Tailwaters Ridge to anyone who'll listen. So much nicer and more secluded than all the little motels in town. Internet/Connectivity: wireless Internet was good enough for Skype video calls. I got 2-3 bars of 4G LTE on AT&T and Verizon, but 3G was spotty.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Tailwaters Ridge. The property was very clean and attractive, and the view was as beautiful as in the web site picture. The lake was visible from both levels and sitting on the deck at night was very enjoyable. Having two levels allowed privacy for separate families or would be a great teen-age retreat. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Several attractions appealing to a variety of interests are within a short driving distance. I definitely recommend this rental.

  The view was exceptional. The inside of the cabin is very roomy, we had family coming and going and the was more that enough for 8, plus more could still be added. Everything you would need for the kitchen was there, just a very relaxed place. The deck tops of the view and the relaxing environment. Close to the swimming beach and not to far from boat rental. I was just so hot, that staying outside for long periods just did not work. By the way, the air conditioner was exceptional work horse, thank goodness. We would come again ! Suggestions only: Add curtains to keep out the sun for LATE sleepers, especially master bedroom. Also in the master I would have places to hang cloths on hooks or bars. When playing games in the living room, it would be nice to have a ceiling light.

  My only complaint about Tailwaters Ridge is the time went by much too quickly! We wanted to stay longer. When you walk in you feel like you have to come to a friend's home, and then you see the view -- wow. Wow! The view is breathtaking! There are many personal touches that are so welcoming. The home is spotlessly clean. The feel is you are wonderfully isolated from civilization, but all the modern conveniences are there! And that hot tub! To sit there at night with the warm bubbling water and star gaze is amazing. I hope we get to return one of these days soon. The questions I had were answered promptly. The reservation went smoothly. You are even provided a complete brochure with all the information you need about the house and things to do around the area. I would recommend renting a pontoon boat and putter around the lake -- it was a lot of fun. I know I sound like I'm gushing, but we really had a wonderful time there. Thank you!

  I just wanted to say how wonderful our stay was! The views from the deck were beautiful and the hot tub was great, after a long day of hiking and walking through town it's just what we needed. The kids had plenty to do with the games and DVD's offered. We can't wait to come back at some point and enjoy it all again! It was really relaxing time for our busy family. Thank you for sharing your home!

  My wife and I stayed in this fabulous home during the BBB (bikes blues and bbq) rally in Fayetteville. By far the most enjoyable mini vacation of our lives. The accomodations are second to none along with the serenity and the view of Beaver Lake. It is just a short but exciting ride into Eureka Springs as well as easy access to I 540. The Tiptons provide a classy and comfortable place to stay that has a nice touch of elegance. If you stay anywhere else, you are wasting your money and missing out on a huge treat. Go see for yourself.

  Our son recently returned from his 5th tour in Iraq and we gathered as a family at Tailwaters Ridge to celebrate being together again. This home away from home was the perfect setting to spend time being a family...... cooking, watching movies and just relaxing with each other. It was easy to go fishing, swimming, exploring and treasure hunting in many directions and yet the premise is secluded and quiet with stunning views. Mark and Lisa were caring and concerned about our visit and we are grateful for the opportunity to have had such a wonderful time on Beaver Lake and at Tailwaters Ridge. Thank You.

  My husband and I adore Tailwaters Ridge. The first thing we do when we arrive is head to the deck and take in the beautiful view of Indian Creek. During our last visit, the dogwoods and redbuds were blooming. It was the perfect spot for a soak in the hot tub while watching the sunset or having a cup of coffee and soaking up the morning sun. The kitchen is well stocked and we enjoy cooking and grilling on the deck while listening to SIRIUS radio. The large bed in the master bedroom is really comfy - perfect for sleeping in! The house is roomy and the property is the perfect place to take a walk in the woods. We love the fact that it is so close to Eureka Springs and trout fishing on the White River... not to mention its easy access to the boat launch at Indian Creek. We can drive to town for the day or spend the day on the lake, then unwind back at Tailwaters. This is a great place to get away from it all!

  My family and I have stayed at Tailwaters Ridge several times and it is absolutely wonderful. It has everything that you would want at a rental location. The facility is beautiful and ultra-private and has stunning views of Beaver Lake. The kitchen is recently remodeled with granite countertops and new cabinets. The huge outdoor deck is elevated and has a very nice, clean hot tub. The recreation opportunities in the area are tremendous and include Beaver Lake for boating, fishing and skiing, the White River for world class trout fishing, and nearby Eureka Springs for dining and night life. All in all, this is one of the nicest rental properties you will ever find and I highly recommend it!
