  Great cabin, great weather and great golf. My husband and I had a very relaxing vacation. Lovely cabin, two level deck, beach and a hot tub made for a wonderful vacation. Our golden loved the backyard and beach area. The lake is unbelievably clear with a sandy bottom. The cabin provided all the amenities of home, just bring your food, drink and beach toys.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  We stayed at your cabin with our two daughters, two son in laws and a 4 yr old granddaughter. The set up was perfect and we had a terrific week. We really had no complaints. We did have some confusion with the TV remotes - seems the bedroom and downstairs remotes were on the same channel so when one switched , so did the other. We hope to come back the same week next year.

  Don't usually have to pay this much to stay in a place that is so dusty. Frankly I'm not sure why you have to pay a cleaning fee, then clean the place yourself. Cabin needs lots of little repairs, the wireless connection comes and goes, no pillowcases, stained towels, filthy grill, cracked tiles, chipped paint, lots of burnt out lightbulbs, candles all over, but we were charged for using them, the dryer was packed full of wet sheets from the last occupants, A/C only cools one room. The beach was the only thing it had going for it, it's not very big, but it stays shallow for a long way out. Right next to the dock we found a couple of old beer cans in the water and a 2 patio blocks and put them on the dock...we were charged for that...And when is checkout ever 10 am? it's always 11:00, anyway, we were charged for that too. It turned out to be a very expensive cabin, certainly not worth the money.

  Our family and some friends had a great week at the cabin. Since we knew our young grandchildren were coming up for a few days....I had specifically asked that the cabin had a sandy beach and lake bottom. The beach is great and the sandy bottom(with no weeds) was wonderful. The kids and us had a great time swimming and building sand castles. The lake is plenty big for skiiing or whatever. We enjoyed the roomy cabin and took advantage of the hot tub several nights. We also had a dog and the big yard was perfect for yard games and tiring the dog out. We will be looking to return next year.

  We just got home from our extended family vacation week and this property was perfect for us. Very clean, very nicely appointed, and plenty of room for family dinners, movie viewing, game playing and sleeping. One room has a king bed, one a queen, and one room has 3 full size beds. Then there were 2 full sofas upstairs, a sofa and a recliner in the downstairs family room. Plus plenty of floor space for a couple of inflatable mattresses. They supply bed linens & bath towels and have a fully stocked kitchen. All you need to bring is your food & your beach toys & towels. Then outside there is a large yard that is perfect for yard games or just sitting in the shade. The beach is hard sand and shallow for 100's of yards before dropping off. The water is clean & clear, and when we weren't out in the boats fishing or tubing, we were floating around & swimming at the beach. The kids were in heaven, which is saying a lot since our kids ranged in age from 14 to 22. And I'd venture to say that we adults were even happier. The only thing we didn't take advantage of was the hot tub which was clean and looked very inviting, but with the outside temps hovering around 90 and having spent our days in the sun, we just didn't have the energy or desire to get into it. Plus, location wise, it's great. The property is within 10 minutes of Baxter and 10 minutes of Nisswa, but you feel like your miles away from a city after winding down the long driveway through the woods. All in all it was nothing short of perfect and we're already planning our return visit next year!

  Great open floor plan, lovely stone fireplace, BIG screen TV downstairs and hot tub were great ameneties. Very quiet and peaceful. Would stay again!

  We enjoyed our stay at N Long Lake. Great house - sleeps a ton of people. Nice yard and dock. I'd recommend it. Very glad we could bring the pooch.
