  Can we go back yet???? We were in awe from the second we walked in the door. The house is decorated to make you feel right at home, your in paradise...even indoors. Amazing views, great fishing. Our boys caught their first fish right off the dock!! We were in the pool till bedtime every night and had all our meals out on the patio enjoying the beauty. We have found our perfect place, you will see us again Million Dollar Baby.

  We've been home a week now and I still find myself day dreaming about our stay. The house was everything described and more. I am definitely an "ocean baby" and from the moment I stepped out on the back patio, with open ocean as far as the eye could see, every one of my senses was hooked. We spent almost every moment of our vacation there, and that's alot to say with a 12 and 7 year old (not to mention my antsy husband)! No one wanted to go anywhere! I got up before everyone else to watch the sunrise each morning. It was magnificent.The sunsets were spectacular too. It truly was heaven on earth. We did manage a few outings, although if it were up to me I would have stayed on the patio 24/7, and the location was perfect for getting everywhere. We took the kids to the Dolphin Research Center, went to SombreroBeach and Bahia Honda State Park, saw the Key Deer on Big Pine, and cruised down to Key West, but my favorite outings were our nightly walks to Sweet Savannah's for icecream! We loved the neighborhood too. My Mom grew up across the street on the Gulf side and she really enjoyed the laid back "Keys neighborhood" feel. Everyone loved their bedroom; my Mom stayed in the Frog room, the girls LOVED the Hawaiian style room, and we got the Master. What an amazing view to wake up to! I can't believe how well stocked the house was. We always rent via VRBO and I've never had a stay so well equipped. Thank You! As you've probably figured out, I absolutely loved it there, as did everyone else. It was magical. Thanks to you I have a new "happy place!" We are all hoping to return some day. Thanks again Kate, for sharing your lovely home! Fondly, Cheri (and my Mom, and kiddos, and my hubby too!)

  Our group of 6 adults had a fabulous stay here! Kate was helpful in our booking process and what she has in her description is accurate. Actually being here and enjoying the sunrise and sunset from the pool area while sipping adult beverages, priceless!!!! We brought a boat with us to do some fishing, and access to the gulf side is a 10 minute ride away. We did have a visit with the manatees and we enjoyed having the 2 iguanas around ( they're harmless and will run away when approached to closely) but would pose for pictures. We took Kate's advice and ate at some of the places she recommended Key Fisheries ( hogfish and lobster rueben were great) Burdines ( good burgers and fries) Lazy Days ( service could be a lot better but the food was great, had the stuffed lionfish) on the way home from Key west stopped at No Name Pub for pizza, what an out of the way eclectic place, we loved it!!! We would stay here again and highly recommend it!!!! P.S we won the draw for the master bedroom suite :) huge room with a wall of windows overlooking the Atlantic, made it hard to leave

  Hi Kate: Capitol "P" for PERFECT!! $$MBaby is off the scale! What our "group" was looking for was exactly what $$MBaby delivered - and sooo much more. The home is beautiful, so well kept and, hopefully, appreciated by those who enjoy 'her' and the time spent there. The weather was unbelievable - 75 and not a cloud in the sky. We walked to Pigeon Key, flew over $$MBaby in the bi-plane, two went fishing (only 3 ocean perch), spent hours at the Dolphin Research Center, etc. Things to do are endless. Since our friends from South Carolina brought sufficient food (in freezer, in auto) to feed an army, we don't have much feedback on restaurants. What is a worth a mention is Fish Tales. My husband and I had lunch there our first day (we were a bit early to the 3 pm entry to your home) and had such a tasty treat with the "bisque", we ate a LOT of it - crab or lobster. The Campbells and Ms. Crocker took back to South Carolina 10 quarts combined of both!! The guys there were most accommodating. Another plus was Bilbo (just across 114th St. from the CD sign. Great hamburgers and I had chicken livers (at least 3 pounds on a plate!!). Place was packed. Tried Frank's Grill-but it too was packed and we didn't make reservations. Alas. The home was immaculate when we arrived. And, we left it that way. (I'm a neatness freak.) Your kitchen is the most well stocked ever - not a thing missing that was needed. We adored using the fish plates and the lobster plates!! There are no everyday wine glasses, so we visited K-Mart to buy some Just couldn't bring ourselves to use any of the beautiful glassware in the cabinet above the 'bar'. I'm a gardener and watched some of the plants gasping for water, so we did the watering thing, especially to the purple flowering pots on the west side of the house. The pots immediately came to life once they were watered. Wildlife: Mamma manatee and baby came to visit, pair of dove stayed around morning and night to clean up our cracker crumbs, and of course, Iggy and his/her friend were not too far away ever. Bottom line: our week at $$MBaby was 10+! We would go back in a minute. However or whatever you do is working perfectly. Thank you for having us. We loved every moment of $$MBaby Jane

  What a beautiful home and a amazing view of the ocean from our bedroom window every morning. Coffee at the poolside while the grandkids did some fishing or swimming. The kitchen had everything needed to fix a grand meal, or we could just be a little lazy and dine at some great restaurants. We enjoyed our stay, but a week went to fast. Thanks Kate, for a time to remember in Marathon Keys.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  Our family stayed at this beautiful home from March 10-17 2012 and had a wonderful stay. The home sits right on the ocean with an amazing view. We enjoyed BBQing and soaking in the pool every day! The home is well-decorated with unique sea-inspired art work throughout the house. We even had dolphins swim by one day! We loved our trip, and definitely recommend this house!

  We loved staying in this lovely home. First of all it was spotless when we arrived and such a relaxing and refreshing place to stay. The patio and pool area is amazing with the ocean as your backyard. We enjoyed eating many a meal on this great patio with this fabulous view. It is just like in the movies. We also took advantage of the great grill and all the house had to offer. This home is located in the center of the Keys which gives you easy access to anywhere you might want to go. It was a wonderful week in a wonderful home.

  Thank you Kate for the use of your beautiful home. It was a pleasure to stay in such a wonderfully maintained home. The pictures from the site don't do this property justice! The ocean view was extraordinary and with the beautiful weather and warm breezes we had the best vacation. The pool was a hit for our family; and the kids especially loved the mermaid. Your home is stocked with every kitchen necessity imaginable and was extremely easy to get used to! We didn't want to leave and will surely return to this paradise in the keys! Thank you for your generous hospitality!

  We stayed at Million Dollar Baby for two weeks and wish we had booked two more. It just didn’t seem to be enough time. We had so much fun and the house was so perfect we didn’t want for anything. Kate and Mike are just the best property owners. The check in on us on our arrival and called during the week to make sure we were satisfied and that everything was going well. The house is awesome, clean and comfortable. We had the best night’s sleep ever in any hotel or rental house. I don’t cook but the kitchen had everything you could ever need. We had two barbecues, one charcoal for the fish my husband caught and one gas. Laura and I lounged on the patio reading and w on working on our tan or swam in the pool while the men were out fishing so we all had a fabulous time. We have already booked for next year and can’t wait to get back.

  WOW.......is all we can say......... Arrived late on Saturday and couldn’t believe what a wonderful home we had. Sunday we had a visit from a manatee........it was amazing to see this animal just swim right up to your dock and play there for about 5 minutes.........it took our breath away......... Thanks for being just what your ad says you are and providing such a wonder house for our stay. Dave
