Welcome to “The Pond House”. Located on secluded Bear Camp Pond, this year-round 4 bedroom waterfront home is perfect for a group of adults or families with children. Less than a dozen houses rest on this private lake located in historical Sandwich, New Hampshire. Our large wooded lot will give you plenty of privacy. Situated on a small sandy beach cove, spectacular views of Mt. Chocorua and the Sandwich Range abound from the floor to ceiling windows in The Pond House. The cove provides a perfect area for swimming, kayaking and canoeing. Recreational amenities include a sandy private swimming beach, floating dock, boat launch area, kayaks, canoes, sunfish, plastic sleds and more! Take in the Fall foliage; Winter sports include skiing, sledding, ice fishing and snowshoeing on the lake. All seasons are beautiful at Bear Camp Pond and silence abounds. HI-Speed Wi-Fi is available on your computer throughout the property.

Three couples rented this house for four different years and have many fond memories of the Pond House. It is well equipped with wonderful kitchen pots & pans, spices, dishes etc. The view couldn't be more beautiful, and the various canoes and kayaks left for our use by the owners were a definite plus in our enjoyment. We did quite a bit of entertaining of local Sandiwich people that we came to know over the years and the house was very suitable for that. We had no problems sleeping -- it is so quiet -- and the call of the loons is magical. The only reason we are not coming back thisi year is that our son moved to another area so we no longer have that excuse to visit Bear Camp Pond.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We rented in August 2010 and again in August 2011 for two weeks . Great accommodations. Plenty of room for my children and grandchildren. Good views of Bearcamp Pond from the house . We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, fishing, and exploring the pond, paddling to the island and watching the loons. I would recommend this rental property to anyone who enjoys nature and family fun.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Wanted to write after spending a very lovely week at this camp in New Hampshire. We had a family reunion and experienced the wonderful setting of the pond with all the boats the owner leaves for use by renters. It was quiet - loons and herons and fish - it was beautiful and the house was very well equipped for many people. The fire pit is terrific and there is abundant wood to use inside and out. A very easy house to stay in - I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet place on the water - easy to get around to the tourist spots as well.Did you find this review helpful?
