Dear Suzy and Stan, You have thought of everything to make our stay so comfortable. We thank you for the warm banana bread and the home made waffles the morning we left. We loved the quiet and privacy and the cottage is not only well located but beautifully decorated and appointed. We couldn't have asked for more. Mahalo, Tom and Megan

You have made this Island cottage part of the Paradise where it lives here on earth. Thank You for this most fabulous week. You are perfect hosts and we will write a review to trip finder. We never saw you or heard you unless we knocked on your door with questions about how to get there or which activity you recommended. Your knowledge of Kauai is very helpful and your guests should know about the quiet ways you offer your help. It seems you have thought of everything in the cottage. Even a popcorn popper which we enjoyed with our favorite TV shows several nights. Thank you, or as you all say here Mahalo

Words fall short to express our gratitude for our stay at Hale Malka-Makai It is just, in a word or two, SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL. We adored the visit from the Horses and your help when Haven got sick, fortunately you had what she needed and it was short lived. Nothing like a Grandma and Grandpa. Your Grand kids are very lucky and we hope you will now consider Haven one of them. Bye for now. We are so excited to be moving here so we will see more of you we feel sure.

Wish we had unlimitted funds. We would come once a month to your Hale. Thank you, you were super hosts. We loved the privacy but knowing you were there for our questions and suggestions was perfect. Happy New Year

Thans you for a lovely lovely visit. You are gracious hosts and generous spirits. Your little Hale is beautiful. Clearly a labor of your love. Everything that meets the eye, the views, out the lovely big windows and we loved the light and high ceilings. You also have the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. We felt like a king and Queen and thank you for reading lights on both sides. Do you know how many people do not think of that? We hope to come back around this time next year so will talk to you about booking now.

Friends who stayed here recommended your place on VRBO. Here on business and even with a busy schedule this was perfect for relaxing as the end of a busy, hot day. I want to come back with my wife. She is suffering at home in the snow. Thank you for the directions, maps and suggestions.

"To Do Is To Be, Shakespare "To Be Is To Do", Plato "Do Be Do Be Do", Frank Sinarta Your place was comfortable and we Loved the visits from Cows and Gekos, Roosters and bird song, not to mention the soft music of the coconut trees. What a place to relax. Have you ever noticed the colors of the mountains in the morning. The colors would give an artist reason to rise early and paint, but where to find the full spectrum, and then there is the rainbows. You have truly found your pot of gold.

Arrived feeling a bit uncertain and tired. We are leaving wanting to shed our cares and move to your little guest home permanently. My boys have never behaved so well and your OHana was all we needed, no all we ever would need. It makes one realize that you really can be happy in smaller spaces but of course, you did make it especially fine and it is Paradise. We loved all the activities you directed us to, paddling canoes, kayaking, fishing, beaching, hiking and just sitting lounging on the lanai in the hammock or chaise lounges under the palms. Loved doing bar-b-quing on your big Webber Gas Grill. Thanks for the loan of the spices and all you did to make our stay so perfect. We want to return to Hale Malka Makai and hope your cottage will be available next year.

Our cottage on your incredible property was absolutely perfect. We loved the antique asian furniture, the art, the vistas and the water feature outside our screen door that bubbled and trickled as we fell asleep. You have thought of everything and we considered this a 4 star stay. We will tell our friends who plan to make a trip to Kauai soon. Your bed is so comfortable and beautifully done, well, the entire place shows a decorators touch. We also thank you for the lovely breakfast you provided by the pool the morning we left. Such a beautiful way to say goodbye. Thankyou and Aloha

You who live here are "Living the Dream". How lucky for us that you will share it on VRBO. Your wonderful cottage was all we hoped for. We lived vicariously and plan to return and return so we hope you continue to offer your cottage through VRBO

How wonderful to have this beautiful cottage on your Estate that you can offer for rent to people like us who need a break from work and stress. We relaxed and relaxed. You are very hospitable and we plan to be back....sooner than later. Much appreciation and love in Paradise.
