  This condo is beautifully maintained and the owner is very well organized. The condo has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing vacation. The photos accurately reflect the rental's appearance. There is a spectacular ocean view from the side window and an immaculate park across the street. The adjacent beach has easy access and was lined with million dollar homes. The pool was steps away and very clean/well maintained. The owner left information outlining area restaurants and activities which was very helpful for navigating the area. I highly recommend this rental.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

  Eileen, Thank you for checking in with us and making sure we got in without any problems(late flight) and that we were enjoying your condo. Someone who wrote previously stated all you needed to bring was your toothbrush and he was correct. We appreciated all the conveniences you provided in your condo. My husband and two daughters both in their twenties were there for my nieces wedding. Everything went beautifully. Enjoyed walking the beach in the mornings and also enjoyed the pool and hot tub one late afternoon (very close by) Spent a lot of time with family, but did enjoy the harbor, including Turks for lunch and a bloody mary. I must say everywhere we went in Dana Point the people were extremly friendly, a lovely community. Your condo was very comfortable and clean, we really enjoyed our stay!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

  Our favorite things about this condo unit: very comfortable master bed; comfortable furniture; a thousand small conveniences (e.g., dish soap, detergent, toiletries, family-friendly DVDs, beach/pool towels, coffee pot/filters, grinder & beans); hassle free keyless entry; spot-on restaurant recommendations; quick and easy to make this unit toddler-friendly lovely partial ocean view; great location within the community (e.g., upper unit, quiet at night, convenient parking space, convenient pool/jacuzzi access); Our favorite things about the community: Convenient location (e.g., easy walk to the stunning Strand, short easy drive to Salt Creek Beach park, Gelsons market and the wonderful Dana Point restaurants) Very nice heated pool/jacuzzi Lovely landscaping Our favorite things about Dana Point: It is absolutely beautiful yet relatively laid back versus other parts of southern California Great restaurants Generally convenient parking Easy access to the freeways to take advantage of all that southern California has to offer without having to stay in a megalopolis like LA or San Diego John Wayne airport (a less stressful, family-friendly alternative to LAX or San Diego) Note: we travelled to destinations like the San Diego Zoo at non-rush-hour times and hit no traffic whatsoever in March One sad note: Unfortunately from an environmental and surfing perspective, it rained hard enough during our March stay to trigger county/regional warnings regarding ocean-water-quality. Fortunately, we understand that such rains are relatively infrequent and note that the Strand is situated so as to remain relatively clean nevertheless (e.g., not near a river mouth or sewage spot). On the whole, we thoroughly enjoyed Dana Point and the condo, which we believe was also a great value in light of the location, view, amenities and convenience. The condo owners clearly care about this unit and their guests. This was a truly seamless vacation experience (even with a two-year-old)

  WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AT HEADLANDS II. AS A FAMILY FROM DENMARK WITH BOYS IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE 2 SEPARATE BEDROOMS & SEPARATE BATHROOMS AS WELL AS EXCELLENT KITCHEN FACILITIES AND IN HOUSE DINING.THE PATIO WITH BBQ WAS ALSO A PLUS. WE ALSO ENJOYES THE LARGE POOL , FINE DINING, WALKING DISTANCE TO THE BEACH & BEAUTIFUL OCEANVIEW! GOOD SHOPPING AND EATING NEARBY. ALL IN ALL A GREAT PLACE THAT WE CAN RECOMMEND WARMLY !

  We stayed at Headlands II condo in Dana Point for our first vacation in a couple of years. I did extensive research on condos in the area & felt that this condo offered the most in terms of location,affordability and features.We were not dissappointed in the least! Everything from ease of checking in, access to the beach,pool,grocery & restaurants & amenities within the condo made this a great choice! Having the washer / dryer made life so much easier for us, especially since we were traveling with our 4 year old boys. Also the grill was a great convenience, since we wanted to take advantage of the local seafood. We appreciated having lots of little extras in the kitchen such as teas, coffe, sweeters, seasonings etc. We were a little concerned about going back & forth to the beach, as there were 180 steps down to the ocean, but even with the boys it was not a problem. The beach was very clean and wide, the waves are big, but my 4year old had even more fun at the lovely pool. We would recommend this condo with out hesitation !

  THE EXPERIENCE EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS ! THE CONDO IS NICELY DECORATED, VERY CLEAN AND IS AN EXCELLENT VACATION CHOICE. THE AREA WAS PARTICULARLY GREAT FOR ENERGETIC WALKERS LIKE OURSELVES.
