The Villa La Baleine (The Whale) takes its name from the fact that we can observe the migration of whales ever year. You will appreciate the beauty and the romance of the sunsets from the deck of the pool.
Villa la Baleine is a lovely Antillean-style villa located high on the west side of Colombier. La Baleine consists of several traditional style cases in a multi-level compound that includes a private courtyard and a charming gazebo where you can view magnificent sunsets. There is lots of outdoor seating, living and dining areas.
The modern fully equipped kitchen has a covered outside dining area that leads to the newly refurbished deck, pool and Jacuzzi. The gazebo and deck offer panoramic sea views looking out to Gustavia harbor along with views of Saba, Saint Eustatius, Saint Kitts and Nevis. La Baleine is off of a private road and offers complete privacy. The design is local, charming and cheerful with bright pastel colors. The property is spacious and was designed to take advantage of the panoramic view.
The beaches of Flamands and St. Jean are only a few minutes' drive away. La Baleine is minutes away from the best bakery on the island and very convenient to both St. Jean and Gustavia.

My husband and I just spent 8 nights at La Baleine which went over New Years. La Baleine has one of the best views of the super huge yachts which have to park outside of the harbour because their immense size. The views are even more outstanding at night when the yachts are all lit up. The villa is meticulously maintained with a beautiful deck around the pool and a gazebo for shade. We had breakfast in the gazebo every morning. It's the PERFECT breakfast spot! I'd always take the binoculars with me to get a closer look at the magnificent yachts and sailboats. We enjoyed the villa so much that we'd end up leaving the beaches early just do we'd have lots of time to spend sitting on the deck and taking in those gorgeous views. I also have to mention how sweet Rosita is. She's extremely friendly and made sure we had the perfect vacation. Thank you, Rosita!!!
