The rental unit’s location was very well described and it does give quick and easy access to the town of Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park. The view from the unit is excellent!! The listing description and associated pictures accurately described the rental unit’s appearance and amenities. All appliances were in excellent working order; having the clothes washer and dryer was a big plus. I found the location very convenient to recreation and shopping. One thing I would emphasis from a shopping perspective is that there is quite a variety of shops in Estes Park, including a very convenient Safeway food store. The Rocky Mountain National Park is, of course, a major attraction as is Estes Park itself; there is even a nice rock climb just behind the unit. I like many restaurants in the area but I particularly liked Mama Rose’s Italian restaurant… ask for a seat by the riverside walkway. For those of us who can’t live without their laptops, please note that I carried my laptop with me and the Internet access and speed were excellent. I also liked the fact that you can stay as few as three nights so it can be used for a nice long weekend. The property was very clean and well-maintained and the owners went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable and had all my questions answered. I’m very familiar with the area and I would definitely stay there again as my first choice for that area and I would certainly recommend the unit to all.

Late Summer Pre-College Getaway
Late Summer Pre-College Getaway
A couple of my friends and I went up to the chalet in our last week before heading to various other states for college. It definitely made me appreciate Colorado. The setting is absolutely gorgeous; we watched a wedding take place by a pond literally one minute away, and I would not be suprised if one (or all) of us end up getting married there one day. There are also so many great places to hike in the area. We went on a nice run up MacGregor road, which a few trailheads spin off of. It was a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park for another great hike. And the condo itself easily has enough to keep you entertained. Plenty of supplies to cook and eat a ton of food, which we difinitely did. We also ended up spending about four hours making elaborate dominoes constructions in the living area and filming the results. Definitely a refreshing, relaxing place to go for a couple nights, and certainly enough to do to stay for a lot longer.
