Waipi'o Lookout Vacation Rental is situated on the lush green cliffs overlooking historic Waipi'o Valley and offers a dramatic sweeping 180 degree ocean and coastal panorama, with Maui in the distance. Below us, 40 pastoral acres with grazing horses add to this spectacular view. We are located on the Hamakua Coast mid-way between Hilo and Kona.
We have a fully-equipped rental, offering complete privacy, with full kitchen, living room and lanai. Hale Ono, the downstairs Ohana Apartment, will sleep up to three people, with all linens provided, but is most comfortable for two people. Please note the $15 fee per night fee for one additional guest. Children over 12 only, please. No pets and no smoking allowed in the unit.
We are only 200 yards from the road leading into historic Waipi'o Valley, or a 30 minute walk down to the valley's beautiful black sand beach. The quaint village of Kukuihaele is just a short stroll away. Here you can find a small grocery store, gift stores, and the local post office.
In Honoka'a Town, only eight miles away, you can purchase essentials, find wonderful local arts and crafts, antiques and clothing; or try delicious meals at the diverse restaurants. Nearby attractions include Waipi'o Valley, Kalopa State Park, Waimea and the historic Parker Ranch, majestic Mauna Kea, historic Hilo Town, and the beautiful Kona Coast Beaches.
