1 Bedroom Suite on the Beach
Villa Wyakha is a large and elegant Villa on a beautiful beach front property. It is situated in Long Bay, a quiet and undeveloped area with miles of open white sand beach and sparkling clear turquoise water. It is ideal for the type of person who wants to be close to nature and seeks peace, quiet and natural beauty.
The Villa sits on a large piece of land and is nestled amongst the lush native bush and jungle of this side of the island. The beach is almost empty with only an occasional person out for a stroll or the daily horses going by.
The Suite is luxuriously outfitted with beautiful furniture, granite and marble tile and high-end appliances. The Villa is brand new and completely modern with full amenities including dishwasher, Internet, and cable TV. It has a stunning view of the sea. There is almost always a fresh breeze, and though provided with fans and AC, you’ll rarely use them. The Villa is eco-built with detailed attention to environmental impact.
Though situated in a natural and undeveloped area, we are just a 5-minute drive to the other side of the island, where you can find the upscale shops and restaurants of Grace Bay Beach.
Villa Wyakha is adjacent to our other property and shares a common pool and hot tub/spa area and a well-equipped gym. Please contact us for details for our other property.
We have ocean kayaks
A Kite boarder's Paradise
Villa Wyakha is on the main kite boarding beach of Provo with great winds and warm, shallow and safe waters. It’s a great place to learn kite boarding, or if you're already a kite boarder, you'll love the variety of waters available here. We are ideally setup for kiting with compressed air on the beach (no hand pumping!), two self-launch/landing pads so you can easily kite on your own, and a large sandy setup area.

We had a great week at Provo. I will just second all the previous excellent reviews. I would certainly pay extra for the upper floor units if they are available. We had a lower unit which suited our needs but a view of Long Bay beach would have been even nicer. We rented a car and spent 3 days on Grace Bay snorkeling, a day at Taylor Bay and a day at Chalk Sound kayaking. We enjoyed having the pool and hot tub very much and all the nice seating and shaded palapas on Long Bay. Ritama and Kabir are perfect hosts-always there if you need them. They are both inspiring people and I enjoyed talking to them and also enjoyed their dogs, Seven and Gogi.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This was our first trip to TCI and it was EVERYTHING we hoped for. The ease of this property makes it so nice and feels like it is your home away from home. We spent the week exploring the island from one end to the other. Fishing, snorkeling, boating. What was most important to us is to feel comfortable and this place was the place to feel that. There were other people in the units, but the great thing about it was we never saw much of anyone. A pleasant greeting and and few get to know you questions and everybody went on about their vacation. The weather was perfect for the first week of October and the last day we were there the water was so calm it was surreal. This is a wonderful place and so easy. It was the most wonderful trip for us and will be very hard to top it...So we will just have to go back again. I would reccomend this place, the owners are very helpful, property is neat as a pin,and the pictures are spot on to what the property has to offer. The near by attractions are very easy, we used Fun and Sun for boating excursion, thank you Fredrick and Catch the Wave to go fishing, Christian is the man we caught barracuda, grouper, nurse shark, parrot fish. We then took the fish we caught to Hemingways for the chef to cook that same afternoon. We rented a car because we wanted to see all there was to see.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our stay at Villa Wyakha has been wonderful. We rented both floors of the townhouse -- my husband and I stayed in the upper apartment, and our two young-adult daughters stayed downstairs. The apartments adjoin, so we had privacy, but were still in the same house. It is beautiful, tastefully furnished, and comfortable in every way. We cooked several nights -- the kitchen is better than most rentals, with good quality pans, etc, and a gas grill. We realized we preferred sitting on our deck and dining by candlelight to any of the restaurants on the island, and we went to many of the best ones! It is so lovely. The beach is deserted -- it is like being on your own private island. The water is heavenly, and the wind which varied daily, didn't really bother us. The sand is soft and continues out into the water, it is very easy to walk in and out. The pool is very nice too, and was rarely used by anyone here. We sat in the hot tub at night and looked at the stars. The path down to the beach is easy and feels like a mini jungle. The grounds are naturally beautiful. I would prefer not to share this information, it is that great! but Ritama is an exceptional host, and deserves all the positive responses. We will be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This Villa was heaven on Earth. As soon as we arrived Ritama made us feel at home. She was extremely helpful even before we arrived. She made sure we had a rental car, and helped with all of our arrangements. She even provided a cell phone to use on the island. This was very helpful. The Villa was gorgeous. Very clean, well-stocked, perfect location, secluded, quiet, flawless. The owners of this retreat take great pride in their vacation getaway, and it shows. We will be coming back next May; don’t bother to look anywhere else. This is the perfect place to reset.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

My wife and I stayed here for our yearly anniversary trip this past September. We arrived in the middle of the night due to a delayed flight. The owner, Ritama, was so understanding when we called. She ensured all arrangments for transportation were adjusted for our arrival times. The driver was waiting when we departed the airport. He stopped to allow us to buy groceries at the local store. Upon our arrival Ratama gave us a tour of the property and took the time to explain everything we needed. When we entered the villa the cleanliness, and romantic atmoshphere eminated throughout the entire property. The pristine beaches, the beautiful views, the hottub, and pool was absolutely perfect for rest and relaxation. Words cannot explain the way we were treated. We were treated like long lost friends. We found ourselves in a bind with some plans we made and Ritama ensured everything was resolved immediately. The dining on the island was absolutely wonderful, travel to all parts of the island was simplistic. Our vacation plans included diving each day. This place was a perfect spot to ensure we accomplished our dives, then relax the rest of the day with some mixed adult beverages, while taking in the absolute breathtaking beauty of the most beautiful romantic getaway anyone could imagine. It was like we were the only ones in the world and we had our on little spot in paradise all to our own for the entire week. People are friendly, helpful, and truly care about making your vacation a memorable one. The bottom line, it has only been 2 months since we left and we are already making arrangements to return. We definatley hope to make this our yearly if not biannual vacation rental for the remainder of our lives. Ritama, Thank you for a wonderful and most splendid stay. We will see you in September, if not sooner. Additionally, if you are planning to make this a dive vacation. Dive Provo is the best dive shop in the world. The staff are wonderful, helpful, and a joy to dive with.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our week stay at this property. We were on Provo more for business than pleasure but it was certainly pleasurable to come back to the garden condo. The condo was new, comfortable and very clean. The grounds are amazing. The owners took special care to keep as much natural vegetation as possible and it's like walking through a tropical garden when walking around the grounds. The pool was very nice. Having direct access to the beach was just a bonus on top of everything else. Ritama and Kabir were very nice and generous hosts. We hope to stay here again. The Long Bay area is nice and private away from the hustle and bustle but only 5-10 minutes away from most of the tourist hot spots and restaurants. We love Long Bay for the natural beauty and lack of people. It reminds you of how things “used to be”.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We greatly enjoyed our time at Villa Wyakha, staying in one of the garden view suites. The furnishings were elegant and clean, with modern appliances including dishwasher & full sized front loading washer & dryer. We cooked most of our meals in the suite and really appreciated the mini chopper, full set of pots & blender for making margaritas. The setting was beautiful and secluded. There's a private path leading from the unit to the beach, about a minute's walk. We also had shared use of a salt water pool and jacuzzi. Even though the property was fully booked (there are 4-6 units in total between the two villas on the property) we hardly encountered the other guests and were often completely alone when using the pool or enjoying the beach. The owners are very friendly and hospitable and provided a local cell phone, use of one of their vehicles for grocery store runs, and plenty of useful advice and suggestions. Long Bay is great for swimming, kayaking, and kite boarding, but the other attractions on Providenciales, which can be found at Grace Bay, Leeward Marina, and Salt Mills Plaza, are only a few minutes by car. We would also echo the comments that have been left by other guests, as we relied upon them when making our decision and were not disappointed.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the upstairs suites in Villa Escencia in May 2011, and had an absolutely wonderful holiday. Ritama and David were so welcoming and friendly, and the suite was even better than it looks in the pictures. We loved the fantastic wraparound porch with a great view, and the beautiful airy bedroom. The suite was spotless, extremely well equipped, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Great to have the pool right there any time you needed a dip! The location was ideal for us - right on Long Bay beach but just a few minutes drive from Grace Bay. We preferred the solitude of Long Bay beach to the much busier Grace Bay so it was a truly perfect location for us. Perfect mix of solitude with easy access to shops and restaurants. We rode horses in the sea with Provo Ponies which was amazing and an absolute highlight! For bars/restaurants we loved Somewhere for a sunset drink and fish tacos, Coco Bistro and Bay Bistro for romantic dinners. Overall a wonderful holiday in a great location - we will definitely be back to stay at Villa Escencia!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We enjoyed our stay so very much! There are no words to describe the welcoming comfort of this property. It "feels" good there and the owners have created an extension of their own wonderful personalities and energy to make an already beautiful location even more spectacular. We are so thankful we landed in their backyard. I loved waking up to a sun filled apartment with a beautiful tropical breeze. I'd have my fruit and read my book basking in the early morning sun before anyone else was up. Even though there are many great local eateries, it was nice to have the full kitchen and gas grill to make some wonderful "eat-in" dinners. There is even a barbecue set up on the beach. The local grocery store is within a 5 minute drive and also has prepared foods to take on a picnic. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. Our apartment was well ventilated with a beautiful tropical breeze and we did not need the air conditioner. Ritama and Kabir make you feel at home and obviously love sharing their property with others. They couldn't have been kinder. This was our sixth time back to Provo and was our favorite accommodation. The beach is very quiet--you are often the only ones out there. The water is crystal clear, shallow and there are many beautiful conch shells. We will be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

We stayed one week with Ritama at this villa. We found the value to be excellent, and the hosts/owner to be wonderful. They made our visit there the hilight of our trip. The amenities were more than we expected, and nicer than the we had heard. The location for kiting and watersports could not have been better.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: Created by Kabir Jaffe and Ritama Davidson, international seminar leaders and authors in the field of self-development, Wyakha was originally created as their place to get away and recharge. 'The demands of seminars and travel made us need someplace where we could turn the world off, come back to ourselves and let nature fill us. We looked in many locations to find that blend of nature, peace, beauty and simplicity, whilst having modern amenities and being conveniently located. Wyakha is more beautiful than we ever imagined, and has been a place of continual magic for us and those who come here.'
Why the Owner Chose Long Bay:
Natural, serene, vital, peaceful, kite boarding
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
This location is for people who want to get away and come back to themselves, to feel nature. The Villa contains just four suites. Each unit is separate from the others, so you have the feeling of being alone. You are on the beach, just 200feet from the waters edge. The ocean here is warm (83+), shallow and gentle. Good for small kids. Yet the wind is often strong enough for great kite boarding. This beach is the main beach used for kite boarding on the island, and we've set up the property for kite boarding, with self launch and landing, and compressed air.
