  Our 2 week stay at Limbery House was outstanding! What a beautiful, restful and enjoyable vacation our family of 4 and 2 guests had on Tortola. Owners Jon and Katie were, once again, outstanding and helpful in every way. Having been to Tortola previously, Limbery House is located in the best spot, closest to the best beaches and best marina. We enjoyed walks to Sopers Hole, Long Bay and Smugglers Cove. Limberry House and the hospitality shown by Jon and Katie made our family vacation the best ever and will certainly be back soon!

  This is our dream destination. We have visited Limeberry House multiple times and dream each time of returning and staying longer. Jon and Katie take incredible care of their guests, giving perfect recommendations for outings, shopping, restaurants and beaches. We enjoy walking to Long Bay or Smuggler's Cove beaches each day. Some days we drive to the further away beaches. It's always a delight coming home to our lovely Limeberry House -- which is even more beautiful than the pictures show. Each room so lovingly appointed with everything we could need for our dreamily perfect vacation. Have no hesitation about booking Limeberry House or Limeberry Villa -- you will not regret a moment of it, except departing.

  My family of five has just returned from a ten-night stay at Limeberry House. We've visited Tortola many times, and this was by far our best experience. Just as advertised, the house has tons of charm: delightful colors, lovely furnishings, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen and nice pool, a very pleasant outdoor dining and sitting area. The layout of the bedrooms provides unusual privacy. And the sea views and surrounding landscape make you feel as though you have truly arrived in paradise. But the most exceptional aspect of Limeberry House is the welcome, generosity, and service ethic of the owners, Jon and Katy. They cooked a yummy curry for us on the night of our arrival, provided the use of a Jeep and a fine larder of wine and food, invited us to a delicious lunch and swim at the private island that they manage (an absolute dream of a place), arranged for taxis, and quickly located and returned items we left behind at no charge. They spare absolutely no effort or expense to ensure that their guests have a wonderful vacation. I can't say enough about Jon and Katy and their hospitality, which are reflected in the high quality and comfort of Limeberry House itself!

  We had our best family vacation at Limeberry, and we are all looking forward to returning. The open air layout and views from the house are beautiful, and the walk to beautiful Long Bay Beach takes only 15 minutes (even at the pace of our slow stroll). We enjoyed snorkeling at Smuggler's Cove and at Little Thatch. We felt so taken care of by Jon and Katy, who were very attentive to our needs, and so generous and kind.

  Our second stay at Limeberry House was just as amazing as the first incredible experience. Jon and Katy know how to positively manage and run a fabulous vacation rental property. They are so friendly and they desire their guests to savor the tropical, exotic location along with the slow, kind island spirit. It is a rejuvenating place. Our party, three ladies, enjoyed savoring sunsets and dinners on the open air dining porch every night. There is no need to leave this house! The kitchen has a large fridge, stove, washer, and an abundance of cooking utensils. The pool has a lovely view; it is clean, warm, and refreshing. Snorkel at Little Thatch. It is amazing! Pristine underwater conditions and a great little private beach. This is a must. Jon is so gracious. It was really convenient to have a car on Long Bay. We recommend buying groceries at the little Marina Market in Soper's Hole. It is close to the house and more convenient than going all the way to Roadtown. We adored West End shops and Pusser's Bar and Grill. We recommend doing the Aristocats day sail with Gilbo, Kim, and Captain Steve. Our second time around was just as enchanting and radiant. Sail from 9:30-4:45 to Norman Island, The Bite, and The Indians. They prepare a nice meal aboard the catamaran. The crew is very kind and competent. Pinky and Evelyn are the sweetest caretakers. They are very kind. Evelyn is a chef and you can hire her culinary services to cook your meals at the house. Our desire is to return every year. We highly recommend this house for multiple couples, friends trip, or large families. If you have a larger party (more than 6) also check out Jon's other property, LimeBerry Villa. It is a four bedroom (all separate buildings like Limeberry House) villa with an infinity pool. Long Bay Beach is a few minutes walk from the House. Check it out for sunsets. This is a dream vacation.

  H,aving spent many years visiing the BVI whilst our children were growing up, we enjoyed having a yacht to spend time on, b as the years go by, renting a house has been more recently preferred by my wife. Many house we have rented have been disappointing, poorly equipped and badly managed, but Limeberry exceeded all our expectatiuons. It is a delightful, well equipped home where we could relax and occasionally entertain friends and relatives, in peace and quiet, taking the occasional swim to cool off in what must be one of the warmest 'sun heated' pools on Tortola. Thanks to our charming hosts- we will undoubtedly return!

  We were a family group of 9; 4 adults and 5 teens & preteens setting out on our first tropical spring break vacation. What an amazing experience!!! Limeberry Villa is simply a dream come true for all of us -- it was unanimously voted "best vacation ever" by all. Hosts Jon & Katie make a lovely home away from home...having thought of every convenience. Limeberry villa is a beautiful home painted and decorated in the colors of the caribbean -- it fills the senses and soothes the soul. Each room is tastefully appointed and with individual A/C units able to suit every guest to their own specific temperature to enjoy...open air with ceiling fan, and any temp in between with ac...never-mind the mind-blowing views to the Caribbean. The open air kitchen or outdoor grill patio make even cooking a beautiful experience! It is conveniently located to all the best that the BVI's have to offer: Smuggler's Cove for beach time and snorkeling(and some pretty terrific Painkiller drinks on the beach or a local fish sandwich...yum!), local restaurant life...Jolly Roger burgers are awesome...day trips to Road Town for swimming with the dolphins(magical), and visiting other local islands.. :) Peter Island has a beyond amazing spa & restaurant that's not to be missed if you can help it. A trip to the Baths and exploring the caves is also a "must-do" activity. Scuba and snorkeling equipment are easily found at Soapers Hole...along with great coffee at D' Best Cup and some fun shopping at local stores, especially Arawak. Every day at Limeberry is better than the next as you relax and get into the mood of the BVI's and Island time. Expect to be pampered if you are fortunate enough to enjoy a visit from Evelyn and a night of her homemade cooking....simply some of the best food you've ever tasted...local fish, mango salsa, fresh salad & veggies, beans&rice, key lime pie, homemade ice cream...and ahhhhhhhh-- a well earned food coma while you watch the sunset! All the conveniences are here as well...movies for the kids, a washer and dryer(pack light!! you only need a swimsuit, shorts, t-shirts and maybe a sundress) an infinity pool, comfy beds, beautiful foliage, geckos, sunrises & sunsets...and more! Jon and Katie ARE THE MOST AMAZNG, knowledgable, kind and generous hosts in the area -- they know everyone and everything -- all you need do is ask and they are only ever a phone call away...we left thinking of them as friends. The only change recommended? Stay LONGER!!!

  After 4 years, we returned to Limeberry House. We have stayed at Limeberry eight times over the past two decades. The property is as fresh as the first day we saw it - plus the owner has added whisper quiet (really!) split air-conditioning units to each of the three bedrooms - allowing us to cool the room before retiring to bed, then leaving the windows open for the night air. Each bedroom (and the living area) has its own adjustable ceiling fan that provides absolutely wonderful sleeping. The house is fully equipped with a modern kitchen, a Viking gas grill on the patio, and a pool for a daytime or evening dip before or after dinner. There is a wireless network that reaches all three bedrooms and the living area. Essential for today's travelers. The location for us cannot be beat. We are hikers, and enjoy walking from Limeberry House to Smuggler's Cove (1 mile), over the top of the island to Pusser's Landing (3 mile round trip), or along Long Bay as far as we wish to go. There are enough enjoyable restaurants in the area (Palm Delight, Jolly Roger, Sugar Mill, Sebastian's, Banana Keet, Pusser's and others) to allow us to have interesting and local food every day (do not miss the Caribbean lobster). The owners are amazingly responsive and helpful - especially when difficulties might occur (we left our passports on the kitchen counter at home...). They are very reachable by phone or email, and always anxious to help sort out things that inevitably arise. They are a delight to know. Any renter will be pleased with their experience with them and with Limeberry.

  Relaxing, delightful, comfortable! We spent a week at Limeberry House mid-January 2012, and it was wonderful! I can not think of a single thing I would have liked to have been different. The house is amazing with the three separate bedroom areas - perfect for us because we had 2 couples and 1 single - the inviting swimming pool, and our favorite place - the dining area with a beautiful view of the ocean. When we read about Limeberry House and viewed pictures, we thought it sounded great. When we actually experienced it - it was even better! The property is immaculate, and you can tell it is someone's beloved house. We will definitely return, and we give it our highest recommendation. Favorite things - Smuggler's Cove (with Bushwhackers from Patricia's Beach Bar), sunset at Bananakeet Bar & Cafe, pizza lunch at Charlie's at the Moorings, sailing and snorkeling at Jost Van Dyke, dinner at Sugar Mill, and the rum from Sebastian's. Have fun!!

  Our family of four spent a week in a house we could only dream of having - We felt like royalty spending our days and nights in this perfectly appointed home. It truly felt like it was our home the very second we stepped foot inside the terrace. Everything about Limeberry House is comfortable, pretty, airy, clean, and cozy! The bedrooms are gorgeous and the beds are dreamy. The very best part of this place are the owners Jon and Kate and the caretaker Evelyn. They could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable about Tortola. We never ventured far - just a short trip to Smuggler's Cove satisfied us beyond measure. A late afternoon swim in the crystal clear pool refreshed us before dinner. The kitchen made cooking on vacation an actual treat! My daughter was in tears as we walked out of the door on the last day of our vacation! As I flew back to Connecticut, I was thinking of ways to decorate my house with Limeberry in mind. This was certainly our good fortune to be able to stay here for a week. We are so grateful!!! Thank you Jon, Katie, and Evelyn
