This is a fisherman's dream. The canal takes you into Lake Dora, which then connects to the other lakes in the Harris Chain of Lakes. Leave your boat at the private dock or launch it at your chosen location each day. Bass, crappie and bluegill are plentiful.
Family can travel to Disney and the other Orlando theme parks in about 1 hour. It is a very affordable way to do these activities. Nature lovers will like the historic Dora Canal which is a five minute boat ride. You will see eagles, osprey, herons and of course alligators.
From the sun room you have a view of the canal with the dock and from the front of the house you have a view of Lake Dora.
Beach lovers can reach either coast in an hour and a half.

Year Purchased: 2009
About the owner: My husband and I moved here from Indian Lake, OH. We live 1/2 mile from the property and are therefore readily available. We love this area and spend as much time on the water as we can. I work full time at the Mount Dora Center for the Arts and Len fishes!

This home came up for sale around the corner from our home. We were in the rental business in Ohio and decided this was a good opportunity to do it here. We like it so much in this area and are sure others will too.
