  We found the condo to be very comfortable but needed attention to several items. My husband had to tighten the towel bars in the bathroom one was coming off the wall, toilet was lose, cleaned out vent and filter in bathroom as it was very dirty, vacume cleaner was packed with dirt so he cleaned that out, & gluded trim around the dresser as it was coming off. The plaster in the bathroom on the ceiling was coming down. The rental agency had a plaster guy come in to fix it but it still has not been repainted. There are LOTS of spots in the bedroom on the carpet and the closet doors do not close very well. However, the worst thing was under the kitchen sink. There were old paint cans, old moldy coffee pot and moldy sponge. The back of the sink cupboard was all black mold. The rental company had everything thrown out and the back wall wiped down but it was not cleaned out very well. I would have done it but just felt that was not something that I should have to do. Once these things are taken care of it will be even more pleasant...we love the area and will be back for our 4th year.

  First the good things: Great location within Destin, Great View!, Great location within complex! The management co we went through, Platinum Services was wonderful!, checkin was a breeze! Now the "Needs Improvement list": Update the TV's, I donated these type TV's to chairty 10 years ago, coffee maker was very old,handle fell off, closet doors would not open - had old mirrors on them, dresser drawers were broke, carpet in bedroom was dirty, dusty plastic plants, not enough lighting anywhere! Kitchen recess lights would blink on and off periodically. Mattress was the worse I have ever slept on! For these reasons I cannot recomend this condo. Someone took really good pictures of this condo!

• WONDERFUL!!

  My husband and I go to the Sandestin area every year to celebrate his birthday and our anniversary. I took a chance on this RARE one bedroom condo. I was afraid it would be too small, and we didn't want to be falling all over each other. What a pleasant surprise! It was spacious and totally updated with granite counter tops in kitchen and bathroom and stainless appliances. The only con was there was only one bathroom and the bathroom sink was very high. It made it hard for a short 5' 1" woman such as myself, but would be fine for a tall person. The furniture was very comfortable and clean. The view was wonderful from our balcony and we even saw a dolphin jumping in the gulf one morning. We drove across the street to the Villages of Baytowne Wharf several times. We had a fabulous dinner on our anniversary at The Bistro Bijoux there and I highly recommend this restaurant! Another favorite restaurant was Tommy Bahama's. The condo was centrally located and made it easy to run down C30A or any number of fun places. This one bedroom condo was perfect for my husband and I, and we plan on renting it again when we return.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
