We were well taken care of with phone #s and emails of owner and on site contact who always handled our questions efficiently. The location was fabulous for us hikers! The morning sun on the balcony was lovely for breakfast, the condo was exactly as photos show, and clean and comfortable. Bring your own wine opener! Thanks for another wonderful holiday in Tucson! We hope to return next year at the same time.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have stayed in number of places in Arizona including the Phoenix area, Sedona, and Tucson. Our favorite by far is Tucson which has everything that we like. It’s not too big like Phoenix or too small like Sedona. Our favorite place to stay in Tucson is this condo complex located in the beautiful foothills area, which we consider to be the nicest area in Tucson. We have rented here five times. It is adjacent to the Lowes Ventana Canyon resort and has direct access to the Ventana hiking trail. The complex is located very close to a shopping center with a supermarket, and several restaurants, including a casual bar/grille. We also like to browse the many nearby art galleries, and to hike in Saguaro East NP, and Sabino Canyon NP. This year we had side trips to Tubac for a great art and craft festival, and Chiricahua National Monument for hiking amidst spectacular and unusual rock formations. This condo is very attractive, well equipped, and well maintained, plus the views through the large windows and from the balcony are beautiful. We think that it is the nicest of the Ventana View condos that we have rented. We stayed at this condo the last two years and we plan to return here next year.Recommended for: Age 55+

We have been coming to Tucson for the last number of years in the Fall and staying a couple of months. This condo is "best of breed". We have already reserved our stay for next year!! Suppose that says it all!! The condo is very well equiped and comfortable. The views of the Catalina Mts and the Rincons in distance from the living room and balcony are spectacular. The sunsets over the Catalinas are magnificent. We have had guests stay with us and the split bedroom plan provides lots of privacy. Steve is a pleasure to deal with and is prompt in responding to inquiries. Tucson is perfect location for outdoor activities...golfing....hiking ... cycling.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condo was perfect for my wife and I. It is exactly what we expected and hoped for based on the information on Homeaway. The depiction of the condo on Homeaway is quite accurate. Working with Steve, the condo owner, was easy and efficient. The location is great. We went on two 1/2 day hikes on a magnificent trail adjacent to the condo complex. The view from the balcony is amazing too. The pool was the perfect temp and atmosphere. The condo complex is also close enough to shops and restaurants that we felt quite comfortable running errands and going out to dinner each night. We even got a weekly pass to Sierra Fitness, which we felt was reasonably priced. I've never written an online review of anything but we had such a great experience that I felt obliged to do so. We definitely hope to return.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The listing accurately describes the condo, which my wife and I found to be very comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains. The owner, Steve, was very obliging when we enquired about renting just a few days before intended occupancy. There are certainly many top rate attractions in Tucson and area, including 2 top golf courses right next door. We particularly enjoyed visiting the Desert Museum in Tucson, as well as our day trip to Bisbee. Overall, renting this condo for a week was a thoroughly enjoyable experience!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

This is a very nice unit. Great for a couple. Second room has two nice twin beds for up to 4. Have stayed in a number of units in Canyon View and while all have been nice this is our favorite. Definitely a great value and best location of them all. Steve (owner) was very easy and ethical to deal with. Deposit money was returned without any hassles. A very nice choice. We will stay again. Wish I were there now.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

Perfect size for the two of us (although could easily accomodate 4) and perfect location. Great views & so quiet, away from any road noise but walkable to Lowes for drinks & food. Nice pool ... no one ever there so thought it just belonged to us!! We'd struggle to find a reason not to stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I had a great stay at this condo. The complex is beautiful with nice pools, jacuzzis, tennis courts, and a business center if you need it. The condo itself was nicely and comfortably decorated and had a gorgeous view of the Catalina Mountains. The trail to Ventana Canyon leaves right from the complex. The full hike is demanding, but you don't have to go all the way! It's nice to just walk up the trail a ways and take in the desert. Or walk the other way on the path and into the bar at the beautiful Loew's Ventana resort, if that is more your thing. I personally enjoyed sipping tea every morning staring out at the mountains and the hummingbirds right outside the huge picture window. During my stay, I also saw many quail and road runners -- always entertaining. Logistics with the owner and getting into the unit went smoothly and I would highly recommend a stay here.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I stayed here for 8 nights. This condo and complex were everything we needed for our stay. We were able to use all of the amenities in the complex which included 2 pools, tennis court, and clubhouse. The condo itself, was just as it was portrayed on the website. It had all the comforts of home, including laundry. It was very clean and well maintained. We were greeted with a beautiful plant when we first got there, which was the beginning of a wonderful week in Tuscon. My husband was able to golf next door at the Lowes Resort several times during our stay. The condo wasn't far from any restaurants or activities that we attended during our stay. It was a very peaceful setting and I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for the perfect getaway place in Tuscon! When my travels bring me back to Tuscon, I would LOVE to stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
