We were 8 adults celebrating 50th birthdays in Buenos Aires for a week and the house worked out great for us. We used four of the bedrooms and had plenty of privacy. The kitchen was large and modern and Buenos Aires' oldest market is only a block away which was very convenient. We used the rooftop deck to watch the fireworks from the 25 de Mayo celebration. San Telmo is exactly what I was looking for in a neighborhood. It felt local, charming and real. Ruben, the house manager, is a fantastic asset to this property and made paella for us one night which was such a treat. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again. Thanks for a great experience!

Yes, it was tough leaving our Buenos Aires house. We had seen the website photos, but when Ruben took us in, tired out after an overnight flight from the UK, and showed us round the house we were thrilled to bits to think this was ours to live in for three weeks, it's even lovelier than the images show. We were a group of seven, two generations of two families with young adult children. We often had our friends' older daughter over to visit - she's in BA on her third university year learning Spanish. The house was as described and was clean, with great facilities. The beds were comfortable, and the house was beautifully furnished with art works and antiques which made it feel like a lovely home not a holiday property. We often ate in - with fabulous fresh vegetables a stone's throw away in the San Telmo market and fresh pasta with sauces & empanadas available to buy close by it was made easy. And let's not forget the wonderful wine shop with knowledgeable English-speaking owner, just round the corner. We entertained various young people during our stay, so it was just as well that the dining table expanded to seat 12, and that the kitchen worked well. Then there was the roof terrace. We'd breakfast out there, sunbathe, chat & have evening drinks. The greenery on the terrace makes it an inviting space & we grew to love our BA urban skyline views. And if the light went & the evening cooled too much we just retreated to the indoor snug & watched the sunset from in there. San Telmo is full of bohemian life, with interesting shops - clothes for the young people, lots of antiques shops, varied eating places and the buzz of street markets at the weekends in Defensa & Plaza Dorrego nearby (street tango there too on Sundays). We ventured all over Buenos Aires from the house. Palermo with its nightlife and boutique shopping & restaurants was a big attraction. We went to La Cabrera for the steak eaters, Sarkis Armenian restaurant, extremely popular, and Olsen's, fabulous. Just down the street from the house Café Rivas is a gem. Ruben, who manages the property, was a treasure, always available to answer queries and very knowledgeable. We had an unforgettable empanadas & paella evening with him as chef in the house and he helped us find our bearings with a city tour early on, plus much more. Thank you Ruben, and Richard, the owner too. We will all remember our stay in Buenos Aires with enormous pleasure.

I've just returned from a fantastic experience staying here. The house comfortably fit 7 adults + 2 kids and it did not feel crowded at all. Just in case you are put off by the location, please don't be. San Telmo is a fun, lively neighborhood and not as touristy as I thought it might be. Actually about a block away is this fantastic and authentic market, a bit like a farmers market, but open every day and locals shop there too. Also what made our stay so enjoyable was the incredible service Ruben the manager provided. He met us at the airport, he explained every thing about the house and neighborhood thoroughly and when we had a key problem, he helped us out straight away without a problem. Thanks to Ruben, the location, and beautiful state of the house, we had the most amazing experience in Buenos Aires, way above my expectations.

Just returned from a 3 week vacation to Argentina. One week in Buenos Aires and two weeks in Patagonia. What a beautiful country. I am usually the type of person who always has good intentions about writing a review, but never get around to doing so. This time I just could not live with myself if I didn't follow through. When I first started searching for a home in Buenos Aires that accommodated six people I ignored this property at first because I thought it was too big. I reconsidered when I saw the reviews and realized the location was exactly what we wanted. We wanted to be in a place where we could soak in the local ambiance. The house is located in the center of San Telmo, walking distance to the Sunday market and conveniently located to public transportation. It was so comfortable it was difficult to leave and sight see. We made it a habit to end our day by having wine on the upper outside deck and watching the stars. Ruben the house manager was icing on the cake. I can not say enough good things about him. He always returned my emails and answered my questions promptly. He did so many things for us that just made our trip so much more pleasant. From arranging pickup and return transportation to the airport to cooking us a fantastic parrilla dinner. He is very knowledgeable, reliable, and conscientious. We loved him. I also must mention, Richard the owner of the house. From the moment we spoke I could feel his true desire for all of us to enjoy our stay in Argentina. I am very grateful that we were able to stay here. Thank you Richard for sharing your home and your love for Buenos Aires.

I spent a week here with 9 other friends. This was an ideal location in San Telmo for a goup of ten. 5 bedrooms, one with two twins and four with double/queen-sized beds. The kitchen and dining area is great for breakfast and meals with the goup. The rooftop living room is great if you want a break to take a nap or watch TV (there's a kitchenette there too) and the rooftop deck is great to enjoy the sounds of the city with privacy. This was a great location all around. The location in San Telmo is perfect for being near all San Telmo has to offer and it's a quick 15 minute walk to downtown BA/Plaza de Mayo. If I was travelling with 6-10 people this would be the place I would look first.

I almost don't want to provide a review for fear that the home will not be available when I return....And we will return! The property and location was PHENOMENAL. But shadows in comparison of the level of outstanding customer service and attention to detail provided by the home care taker and the owner. With a group of 10 adults, we were able to comfortably as a group and individual eat, sleep, and enjoy all of the wonderment of this perfectly built and decorated San Telmo home. There was not problems getting suggestions for shopping, eating, and sight-seeing. All questions and requests for information were addressed quickly and with great additional details. Also upon request, we had the most AMAZING empandas, paella, and meats, prepared to celebrate one of our guest's birthday. The pictures don't do this place justice.

We were a party of 8 adults. The house exceeded our expectations. It easily accommodated our large party and we especially enjoyed the atrium like dining area and roof-top patio. San Telmo was a wonderful, charming area that was very easy to get around. Ruben arranged our airport transfer which made the house very accessible. He was also very helpful in coordinating a Tengo show and a boat trip to the Tigre Delta. I would definitely recommend this property.

We were a party of 7 adults. The house easily accommodated us and has multiple living/social spaces across its two levels. We all loved the beds. The mechanical systems are all modern and all in excellent condition (powerful A/C, hot water, etc.). The terrace and upstairs living room are wonderful spaces. An added treat is the house manager, Ruben, who was responsive to every need and also prepared 3 outstanding dinners for us, including on our first evening a delicious Argentinian parilla (grill). The house surpassed our expectations and it is an incredible value.

We were 11 people; 6 adults with 5 kids 2-7 years old, and we really enjoyed this nice house for over a week. The place is spacious, modern and well-equipped. The kids were happy they could play safely both outside and inside. Far better than staying at a hotel. The neighborhood has nice restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay very much! And the roof terrace is really nice! Like one of the kids said when we arrived to the house: "Here we live like Kings and Queens!" :)

Our stay in this beautiful San Telmo house could not have delighted us more! The house is a wonderful combination of old and new with unbelievable archtectural elements. Set in the charming neighborhood of San Telmo, it was fantastic. The property managers Dina and Ruben provided such attention to detail (including assiting a sick traveler) that we really did feel right at home. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the house, the neighborhood, or this beautiful city.
