Welcome to lovely Spring Cove, known to locals as "the shire". Our home sits on Hyphocus Island with waterfront access to this charming ocean cove. Hyphocus Island was once the private estate of a Nu Chah Nulth chief, but now you too can stay here in beauty and tranquility. Located at the southeast end of Ucluelet, our location allows you to stroll along the cove and explore the intertidal flats, pick berries, watch the abundant wildlife. Resident wildlife includes deer, bear, seabirds (including eagles, herons and buffleheads), salmon, harbour seals and sea lions.
We're just a short walk from kayak rentals, local beaches and the Wild Pacific Trail. You already know that Ucluelet is located right beside world famous Long Beach of Pacific Rim National Park, but did you know we have our very own biologist and archaeologist both in residence? Just imagine the inside scoop that provides (and guided tours also available upon request)! Your flat in our home has in-floor heat, private washer dryer, gas fire place, and a fire pit along side the cove. Perfect for a quiet getaway to the wild west coast.
