My husband and I stayed for New Year's 2013 and this was one of our favorites! Close to the French Quarter, and near to all the other things we needed. I love this space and HIGHLY recommend it!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is a terrific condo in a great location just a few blocks from the WW11 museum, surrounded by various art galleries and the Confederate Museum. For two people this condo has ample space and all creature comforts, including a full kitchen. The owner Reggie went out of his way to insure that we knew of the best restaurants and attractions to attend during our stay and helped us to book some of them. I would highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This location is a must when staying in New Orleans. It's far enough away that it's relaxing and you don't hear too much noise. The apartment itself was fantastic! I felt very safe staying here and the French Quarter is only a 15 min walk from there! I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Owner Reggie is a good guy, worked with me on late arrival/late check out, and was very generous. The condo is clean, large, and stylish. Location ideal for the convention center, close to some museums, and short walk to the night spots down town. Some nice restaurants and coffee bars are around. I will come back! There are some colorful characters on the street around there, two of them were fighting in the road at 6 am on the day I left. Consequently, I would not recommend the place to women staying on their own unless they are confident they can take care of themselves. However, I had no problem and I liked the area a lot overall.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Agree on cleanliness, location, apartment just as advertised, Reggie totally helpful and noise (but so what?). We just wanted to add a few notes: If you have a car, get the parking package. It's much less hassle than worring about the meters and the lot's right across the street. There is a wonderful resource nearby in the Preservation Resource Center at 923 Tchoupitoulas St. They were very helpful to us in organizing our walking tours of the Garden District, The Lower Ninth and Algiers. While you're in that part of the neighbourhood, you might want to plan lunch at Couchon or Couchon Buctcher. If the latter, try to arrive about 15 minutes before the noon rush, or be prepared to stand and wait. Garbage pickup is every day, so you can leave your garbage just outside the front door at the corner. That way you get something in exchange for the noise the garbage pickup makes each morning :-)Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Just as listed - an ideal location for walkers. Bus stop to French Q just across the corner; to the Audubon, two blocks. Within walking distance from the Quarter, pubs on Magazine and several museums. The property was immaculate and spacious as pictured, everything worked. Kitchen minimally supplied, no gourmet cooking happening, and hot water takes a long time to get to the kitchen - not sure it ever did. The shower & tub had plenty, though, and heating and cooling was fine. An "instruction manual" might have eased some concerns - should we have laundered the linens? (The washer/dryer works!) Reggie, the owner, is friendly, knowlegable, helpful but not at all intrusive. This apartment represents exactly why one rents VRBO instead of staying in a hotel. There are some comments about noise - there is street noise, but this is a city, after all, and most of it started about sunrise - delivery trucks and such. The convenience of the location made up for it, and it didn't disturb anyone's sleep - the bed (and the sleep sofa) were great! Not a good location for elderly or infirm - steep stairs to get to the apartment. For us, who like to explore at ground level, it was wonderful, and a great value. Recommend to all, but not at Christmastime - I hope to rent it again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was the perfect place for our family of 4 to spend a few days in New Orleans. Once we arrived we parked our car and walked our rode the bus everywhere. Plenty of space to stretch out and a kitchen to make dinner after a short walk to Rouses Supermarket.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

The description of the condo was very accurate. It was beautifully decorated, spacious, clean, conveniently located. Twenty minutes walk to French Quarter. Close to lots of restaurants and a grocery store. Excellent location for anyone travelling without a vehicle. Nice coffee shop close by - PJ's. The owner - Reggie was helpful. Condo was on a busy street - a little noisy. Only thing I would recommend was a telephone for making local calls.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
