I traveled with my 11 year old son for Wrestlemania. My friend at work who lives in area helped locate a rental. Not only did this look exactly like picture but it was cleaner than my house, near everything, and very safe. Only once did my son and i take a cab home. i have recommended this place to my boss as well. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Location, owners, atmosphere...all as good as it gets. This building has been lovingly renovated to hide a contemporary home in a corner warehouse shell. One block from the St. Charles trolley, five quick blocks to the convention center, easy stroll to the French Quarter and all the other places you'll want to go. Owners/managers were so responsive to needs. They'd replaced the convertible bed with a standard couch so provided a queen self-inflating bed. When that leaked, they delivered a brand new one to the door. Yes, you hear traffic--you're in the middle of the NOLA universe; it's fine. The kitchen could use a few general tools--just don't plan on making Thanksgiving dinner for 12! The stairs from the front door are steep--with 12' ceilings, what do you expect? It's good for you! Simply said, you can't go wrong. Anyone can nitpick, but after dozens of rentals, I'd put this one in the top three.

My husband and I live only an hour away from New Orleans, but decided to stay in the city for a weekend for our 10 year anniversary and the Rock N Roll Half Marathon. For cheaper than the price of one night in a nice hotel, we were able to rent this apartment for the entire weekend. The pictures featured in this listing accurately portray both the inside and outside of the apartment. The interior of the apartment was extremely spacious and clean. While there was only one bed, many more people could have stayed in the living room area. The apartment is within walking distance of everything, if you don't mind walking a little bit to get to certain places. We walked to the Convention Center, Harrah's Casino and Jackson Square with no problems (however, we like to walk and exercise, so walking a mile or more one way is not a long distance for us). The street noise from the corner intersection was loud, but not intolerable. There are a few restaurants and a coffee shop within a few blocks distance (Phil's Grill is right down the street from the apartment and has amazing hamburgers), which is convenient if you are not planning on cooking during your stay. We would definitely stay at this apartment again!

I stayed here while attending a conference at the convention center. While this condo is a few blocks further than the hotels advertised with the conference, the walk is no big deal and this is way better than any hotel room you'll ever find. I know I'll be coming back here in the future and I'll definitely consider staying here again. The pros: --Location. Access to the convention center was great. I also enjoyed the Ogden, Contemporary Arts Center and Confederate museum...all within one block. WWII museum is similarly close by, though I didn't make it there this time. --Dining. There is lots of great dining in walking distance either in the immediate area or within a 10-15 min walk to places up on St Charles. --management. Very professional and courteous. S.S. at Windfeel properties did an excellent job and I encountered no hitches with administrative issues before or during the stay. --kitchen/appliances. Dishwasher and HE washer/dryer, etc all worked well. It takes a long time to wash/dry a small amount of clothes so don't put it off (but the management does inform you of this). --space. lots of floor space and high ceilings are great. The cons: --noise. There is a fair amount of street noise since Camp and St Joseph are busy at times. There are also delivery and garbage trucks going by, and people will play their music loudly while waiting for the stop light to change. The condo is not sound proofed against this noise as much as a hotel might be. However, this is all just what you have to expect when you stay in an urban area. Truthfully, it didn't really impact me much, but I am a pretty heavy sleeper. I can see how it could be an issue for a lighter sleeper. --so-so for kids. There is some glass furniture with edges, a top heavy mirror/dresser and few other items of furniture that give me concern about bringing young kids here. It would be fine for kids at around the 7-8 yo range and up. Younger ones could get themselves into trouble with some of the furnishings if you're not careful. --steep stairs into the unit. It's on the second floor. From the street you must go up a flight of stairs to get to the condo. That flight of steps is pretty steep. It wasn't a problem for me and probably wouldn't be for most, but it is something to be aware of if you have mobility issues. --kitchen table. It's not very functional. High, wobbly and sitting on the chairs is a balancing act. The only part of the place that is really uncomfortable.

Perfect! Lots of space, very clean, comfy bed, fab balcony (wish it had a few chairs), claw foot tub, nice size closet, big kitchen . Only thing negative is the stair case getting to the condo. If you have a lot of heavy luggage or ice chests then roll up your sleeves. It's like climbing up a ladder and a little scary.

The apartment has a good location, a great layout and a definitely fun atmosphere. Parking was not as bad as the other reviews made it out to be, but you do have to watch the clock on the parking meters. We chose this listing for the location and price. I did find two things very disappointing and, as such, I would never stay there again. First, the apartment was clearly a rental- several pieces of furniture were broken (bed, desk, chair). Second, and this sent me over the edge, they would not return the security deposit. I spoke with the condescending broker who apparently rents it and she said a stain in the bathtub meant she had to bring in a tub refinisher. Ridiculous based one 3 things: 1. The purported cause of the stain was my wife's natural self-tanner. I have a marble shower at home and have never had a problem. 2. I use tub refinishers in my work, and none cost $200. 3. SHE COULD NOT PROVIDE A RECEIPT from the contractor for the work to refinish the tub. I contacted her several times for it. I honestly believe they just kept the deposit. I would be interested to hear if other people have the same experience and future renters should include the cost of the security deposit in determining whether or not to stay there.

Owner response: In response to traveler, we have decorated this suite with furnishings built to sustain the needs of our guests and provide an at home atmosphere. Our accommodations Are and Maintained To Remain as photographed. We provide an original white porcelain clawfoot bath tub with shower that dates back 100 plus years in age. The marble finished vanity has an ornate grill and a push button flush friendly commode finishes the bath. There are additional built- in shelves for toiletries, if needed. The black wood grain finished bed has attached side tables that are not removable. Cable television and stand completes the room. Our living area has ultra modern adjustable leather furnishings with complementing glass tables. Our desk is a glass double tiered desk with a modern Lucite chair. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances. We have accommodated countless guests in the many years of providing this vacation rental, and we have only retained three deposits. The contract given to all travelers provide the reasons why any traveler would lose their deposit and the reason was provided to this guest as it is stated in the contract.

This condo was beautiful and very clean - just as advertised. Great location, we found meter parking without a problem. The stairs to the unit are extremely steep. So if you have any physical limitation or heavy luggage, this would not be the unit for you. It is a great location to walk to galleries and restaurants. If you are a light sleeper, definitely bring ear plugs. The condo has original floor to ceiling windows that allow a lot of noise in from Camp Street. The city never sleeps and this is a very busy thoroughfare. Our main complaint was that an event was being held across the street in a huge tent and the music was blaring until wee hours of the morning. Impossible to sleep even with earplugs. Owners should subscribe to CAC and Ogden calendars so they can tell prospective renters ahead of time when something like this is going on. It would have been nice to have been informed of this. We still would have stayed but could have planned to stay out later. As it was, we came in tired and ready for bed and it was very irritating to feel like we were trying to sleep in a night club. The place was vibrating. Communication from the owners/management company was lax. We did end up getting the info we needed (except never did get a check-out time even after repeated requests). Having been a VRBO owner myself, I know most renters want all info quickly. Don't get worried if you don't have the info to access the condo the week before you arrive. They do eventually contact you and let you set your own code for the doors. So it all works out in the end!

Wonderful apartment, great location. Totally doable if needing a place to stay in NO. Definitely a keeper. I did not pre-arrange parking as I was there over a weekend when parking is free and drove my car during the daytime hours. Meters are expensive. Otherwise definitely consider the parking arrangement. The apartment is lovely, airy and welcoming.

This was a great location for my cousin and I. It was within walking distance from all of the activities we participated in at the Essence Festival. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. I really enjoyed my stay and would consider staying there again on my next visit to New Orleans.
