Whether your idea of relaxing is skiing, hiking, an open top car ride along the Blue Ridge Parkway, mountain biking along an old abandoned railroad track, fishing a mountain stream, antique shopping, exploring art galleries or simply reading a good book by a crackling fire, Horse Creek Cabin is a great place to refresh your mind, body and spirit.
The surrounding Ashe County countryside offers splendid beauty, historic attractions, down home country dining, and fun for the entire family. The 1600 square foot cabin is BRAND NEW and features a master bedroom and bath on the main level and a cozy guest room, bath and loft upstairs.
Vaulted ceilings in the reading room / great room and a stunning SW facing view of long range mountains combine to offer breathtaking views. A full basement and game room offers a place to relax or play board games. A private Eastern facing rear deck off the kitchen and master bedroom is the perfect location for grilling, evening dining under the stars or morning coffee. Outdoor speakers are on rear deck area.
The covered front porch has rocking chairs that are perfect locations to catch the sunset. The master bath offers a large garden style tub. Imagine a romantic evening soaking away your stress in the luxurious master bath, then just steps away, you can curl up on a cozy sofa in a warm fluffy robe and read a book by the crackling fire.
That is of course, after you've enjoyed the gourmet dinner you just finished that was created in the spacious kitchen.
