This affordable vacation cabin rental is the ideal place for a nice relaxing, peaceful getaway. Mountain Magic is both cozy and comfortable, with modern style, and decor.
Mountain Magic has lots to offer. From a lazy hammock in the yard, to a cozy fire in the fireplace. Take a moment to get in the hot tub and look at the stars.. A cup of tea in the sun room will hit the spot. Take a walk around the property and enjoy the artistic old painted barn, which houses a few farm animals. For quiet time, the loft is spacious and quaint, it has a swinging chair, a dresser and a rocking chair. The kitchen has all you need for a home cooked meal, it is open to the great room, build a fire in the fireplace and watch a movie all at the same time. After the evening is up, the bathroom has a charming Jacuzzi tub, which is sure to hit the spot. The downstairs bedroom has a flat screen TV and a queen size bed. You might want to sit on the covered porch and enjoy the sounds of nature, while drinking that morning coffee. Also the deck, just off the sunroom would be a great place for grilling, lounging and enjoying the view of the natural waterfall.
Mountain Magic is 15 minutes from the town of Boone in the beautiful North Carolina Mountains. Home of Appalachian State University. Also some nearby attractions are Watauga Lake, Tweetsie Railroad, Ski Beech, The Blowing Rock, the historic Valle Crucis and much more.

We had the best vacation at Mountain Magic! My 7 year old loved that she could have the whole upstairs (loft) as her bedroom, feeding the animals (especially the baby goat and donkey) and "swimming" in the hot tub!!! It was very convenient to get out and sight see each day. The worst part of our trip, however, was when we used the "alternate route" choice on our GPS and ended up on a curvy, muddy road in the dark... in the snow... on our first night! Lol! We had a fabuolous time and will definitely be back again!!! Connie was amazing, so helpful and welcoming. Thank y'all so much for sharing your cabin with us!!!! :)Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

The online pictures cannot do justice to the charm of this cabin and property. The nice sunny breakfast room, the loft (watch your head!), the big back deck, the hot tub, the yard just begging for a game of badminton or volleyball! The cabin is decorated tastefully and was immaculately clean. We spent our 13th wedding anniversary at Mountain Magic, and are already looking at dates for a Spring getaway in '13. The seclusion experienced while just 8 miles from downtown Boone was unbelievable. We feel totally rejuvenated after only 3 nights. The goats loved the fresh carrots, and the donkeys were so happy to get their apples. The animals are so friendly and gentle! Couple things; don't look for a dishwasher, cause you're it! Believe us, in this idyllic setting, you won't mind. Also, we had NO cell service about 6 miles around the cabin. No WiFi. But you're on a getaway, right? Disconnect for a while. You'll be glad you did. At this price, this place is an absolute STEAL. You can't get a decent hotel room for $135! Thank you so much for the wonderful service, Connie. Place is awesome well kept in the middle of everything. Great yard and perfect for kids or romantic getaway. Goats are so neat the kids will love it. I cant say enough ab the yard and the cabin its a must see for the price. We def will be returningRecommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

We rented Mountain Magic for our 10 year anniversary, and were very happy with the cabin. We needed a place to bring our two dogs, and they loved it, especially playing with the goats. The hot tub was great, and was put to use often. We ventured around during the day, but wanted to come back, and enjoy the cabin, for grilling our nightly dinners. We are sure to rent this property again, with the help of the property manager. She was so nice and helpful, we would of thought she was the owner, with the care and detail she had shown us. Ta ta for now Mountain Magic....Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Loved the goats!! We've stayed in many similar cabins around the Blue Ridge, but none as clean, tastefully decorated, or in as nice of a setting as yours.
