PRIVATE & SECLUDED LOCATION (1.25 acre property)
This 'Green' Nantucket home was designed and renovated in 2005 and is a Green home. The house has a large Solar panel on the bedroom southwest facing roof that provides 100% of the hot water May through October. The house has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4. The first floor is 1400 square feet, the lower level 700 square feet. The home is open like a loft, bright, airy with a lot of windows and light! There are ceiling fans in the kitchen, great room and master bedroom. This is a 2000 square foot 2 bedroom home, NOT a small, cramped cottage.
KITCHEN
The kitchen has a 15 foot ceiling, lots of windows, skylight, 2 sliding doors and a ceiling fan. It is a chefs dream with everything you need. Kitchenaid® Architect Series appliances. (Refrigerator, Propane Range with Convection Oven, Dishwasher) There is a microwave and toaster. Fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, utensils, popcorn maker, etc... There is an island with seating for three, and a John Boos® kitchen table that seats 4. Full size standup washer and dryer unit is housed in the kitchen closet for easy access. Bins outside for recycling are steps from the kitchen door to encourage the green lifestyle. Weber® charcoal grill for outdoor grilling.
GREAT ROOM
The great room is big with a 20 foot ceiling and ceiling fan. The room is full of modern retro furniture with a large comfortable couch and lots of artwork. It has a large closet with plenty of storage. There is a John Boos® stainless steel kitchen table that seats 4.. Cambridge Soundworks® speakers to plug into your computer or iPod and WiFi.
MASTER BEDROOM
Master bedroom and master bath are located on the first floor. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and 42' Philips® flat screen TV, Cable, DVR. Plenty of easy access shelving and storage for your clothes in a large walk in closet. The room is bright and sunny with lots of windows, 15 foot ceiling with a ceiling fan and AC. A sliding glass door and private deck on the south side. 300 thread count sheets, pillows, blankets!
MASTER BATHROOM
Large shower has a 4' x 6' glass block wall and glass shower door. Beautiful non slip Pennsylvania black slate floor. Vanity with plenty of drawers with a sink and large mirror and a linen closet. 100% cotton towels.
LOWER LEVEL
Bedroom on the lower level has 2 NEW Serta® twin beds for kids or covert to King. TV with cable, DVD Player. Bathroom with tub, shower, Pennsylvania black slate floor, laminated Pergo® floors, large windows. NEW 100% cotton towels and 300 thread count cotton bed linens. Everything NEW!!
LOCATION
Located at the end of a road in a very private, secluded spot surrounded with woods, secluded and quiet! It is about 3 miles from town, 1 1/2 miles to Surfside beach and 3/4 of a mile to the south Shore. A bike path is 1/4 mile from the house to Surfside Road. There is also a shuttle stop for a quick ride into town. Do not be surprised if you see deer walking thru the yard.

The Unique Benefits at this HouseIt is a great location, (Location, Location, Location!) very private, secluded, yet close to town (5 minutes). Surfside and South Shore beaches are minutes away. The house is open like a loft with a lot of windows, high ceilings and ceiling fans. The kitchen is awesome with lots of windows, 2 sliding doors and a large skylight. Beautiful master bedroom and bathroom. Its a 2000 square foot 2 bedroom home, NOT a small, cramped and stuffy cottage. If you have any questions at all please email me. Malcolm, thanks so much for renting your lovely home to us last summer. It was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and me. Your house is amazing. We love the colors you chose and the modern furnishings. We also loved that the bathroom was so clean and modern - love those glass bricks that offer complete privacy but let in the sunlight. And the master bedroom is amazing. It's so spacious, and we appreciated the extra touches like the 300 thread count sheets and the huge flat screen TV. The house is so spacious and open - we love all the cathedral ceilings and the mod ceiling fans. Had no need for your air conditioning since the house stays nice & cool at all times of the day. We really enjoyed sitting out on your private decks, enjoying our morning coffee & reading the paper. It was also great sitting out there in the afternoon & soaking up some rays. Your property is so private and peaceful - a real treat for us! We even saw deer walking through the yard on occasion. My boyfriend & I look forward to renting from you again this year. Thanks so much.

This is an awesome property. The house is really well maintained and has great ammenities: it's clean, has a well-appointed kitchen, has cool decor and artwork, private decks, flat-screened TVs -- really, everything you could want while you're on vacation. The house is in a secluded spot so you can enjoy complete privacy. It's nice and quiet and really peaceful. But it's only minutes away from the beach, town, and a bike path where you can ride for miles and miles. I look forward to renting this house again. It's a gem.

Had a wonderful week in this beautiful, modern home. You feel instantly relaxed when you get here because the house is so clean, so bright and cheerful, spacious and airy. There are cathedral ceilings with cool ceiling fans throughout. The house includes everything you could possibly need – top-rate kitchen appliances, plenty of cookware, a Weber charcoal grill, flat-screen TVs, and really nice bedding. Situated in a secluded spot surrounded by beachy pines, this property has lovely private decks where you can enjoy the sun and listen to the ocean surf. The house is only 3 miles from town, where you’ll find really cute shops and amazing restaurants. And there are two free beaches only a mile away. Oh, and the bike path is really close, too. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Rain or shine, you’re guaranteed to have a PERFECT vacation in this home.
