  My friends (10 total) and I booked this property so we could attend a friends wedding on the beach. We were a bit hesitant because it's NOT on the beach/ocean front, but we all agreed that it was truly perfect for our needs! PROS: Price, space & layout for a group, easy walking distance to everything in Folly, golf cart (awesome!), bikes, well-maintained CONS: Lack of essentials like hand soap, trash bags and dish soap

  wonderful location Folly is our favorite vacation spot! Condo great amenities, Boys loved the ping pong table and golf cart

  Our family used the this property shortly before Memorial Day, everything was as promised on the website. The use of the golf cart was great for the beach and cruising around Folly Beach. We would return again!

  I took a girls May trip and was very impressed. The house and entire street were beautiful. The golf cart made getting to the beach very easy and we even took it to the pier for lunch. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. The open kitchen to the den make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy each other.

  This townhown was a GREAT place for us to stay....we had eight girls staying in this house with plenty of room. The house is central to everything; the pool, the river, the beach, and especially downtown. The walk to the beach is a bit long but doable or you can take the bikes or golfcart. Be aware that the red golfcart has a very short battery life. The house was clean and provided everything we needed! I would highly recommend this townhome to others and I would even consider for myself again. Thanks for letting us rent your place!!

  While the townhome was beautiful, when we arrived it was very dirty. The floor was gritty and covered in sand (like it had not been vaccumed between our arrival and the last family to leave). The countertops were dirty, food stuck to top of stove and the rug was wet and dirty in the bathroom downstairs when we arrived. The toilets/sinks and refigerator were clean. We had to run out and get a mop to clean, because there were no cleaning supplies (other than a dustbuster) left for us to use. The previous people had left the grill on, so when we got there the garage and house smelled like gas....it used up all the propane, so we had no gril to use while we were there (and we didnt feel we should have to run out and spend 25 dollars on a propane tank when it shouldve been provided). Many of the lightbulbs were burned out...and when i asked the owner about changing them, he told us we could get a ladder out of the garage and change them ourselves. When I called the owner about my disgust over the house being dirty and the grill, he said he would try to get us some money back from the cleaning lady (which we never saw). He also promised a key-fob to get us into the pool area--which was locked and you could only get in by a key. We never saw a key and just relied on other people opening the gate for us. I would definitely stay in Water's Edge again, because it IS beautiful and quiet and relaxing..however, I would NOT stay in this condo.

  Owner response: I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. After three years of rental this was our first experience with the home not being cleaned properly. We have changed cleaning crews and have not had any more complaints.

  This was our first visit to Folly Beach and I don't believe we could've found a more enjoyable location. We loved the access to the river, taking the golf cart to the beach and strolling around Folly on the bicycles! The town home was beautifully decorated with a nicely equipped kitchen. We have a family of five and my parents were also on this vacation with us... we had plenty of room! The screened-in porch was very nice and relaxing.... be sure to take a nice long book to enjoy! Nice comfy beds in all the bedrooms also! We prepared most of our meals at the house... very nice to have a gas grill for cooking! We did eat out at Lost Dog Cafe and The Crab Shack. We enjoyed both restaraunts and would recommend them. The seafood buckets at The Crab Shack were phenomenol! The owner always answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. He always responded promptly. We plan on returning and hope to stay at the same town home!
