"Bayside Cottage" Nature Retreat--Great Scalloping & Fishing

Year Purchased: 2005

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes

Originally the house was purchased as my personal home and I enjoyed living there and watching the sunsets and wildlife for a few years. It has only recently been rented on a limited basis. I moved to the area after retiring from Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, FL. I have always been around the water and my family took me scalloping before there was mask, snorkel, fins; they took me crabbing before there were traps.

The Unique Benefits at this House

You will find the location of the property tranquil. Wildlife viewing is at its best. The most memorable event of my time there was watching a pair of eagles build a nest.

B
Presnell's Marina

Launch your boat at Presnell's for easy access to scalloping. Here you can also rent a boat, or hire a captain for a guided fishing trip.

Owner's Map of Private Homes

As an avid scalloper and snorkeler I have been enjoying the bay for years. When not on the bay I am hiking/walking one of our local areas, bird watching, or enjoying the spring and fall wildflowers. I would be happy to recommend guides for various local outdoor activities from fishing to photography.

Please note that we occasionally travel away and have no access to e-mail. If we do not respond shortly we are either working on property or away and either way are without internet access. We will respond just as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
