  This was our family's first trip to the island and to The Shores of Maui (5 adults). Our accommodations were very nice and clean and extremely comfortable. We felt very safe and secure staying here. The owners have thought of everything! All the comforts of home are included! The expanse of ocean view from the lanai is incredible and we saw lots of whales right off the lanai! Sitting with family and enjoying that view....nothing is more relaxing than that. The condo is situated very close to many beaches. It is also within walking distance to shops & restaurants and grocery stores and markets and the people we met at the condo and elsewhere on the island were all very kind and helpful. We were also glad we rented a car as we were able to explore the entire island. Thank you to the owner for making this 3 bedroom condo a beautiful place to stay as well as affordable for our dream come true vacation! It was everything you said it would be and more! We are thankful for these excellent accommodations and if we can return to Maui we would not consider staying anywhere else! This place is AWESOME!

  Great location and very comfortable. It suited our group of family members (8). The rental staff and cleaning people worked around our schedule. We stayed 10 nights in total with a three night break to stay in Hana for 3 nights. Loved the pool area with the BBQ. We ate down there almost every night. I would recommend this place to anyone a large group. You don't need a car to get to the beach and there's something for everyone to do.

  We stayed at the Shores of Maui for 7 nights in January and had a wonderful time. We found other owners and visitors in the building to be friendly and highly recommend participating in the weekly "poo poos" where you can mingle and enjoy great appy's. We found the unit to be satisfactory clean. There were many ants but such is life in Maui. There were four adults and four children and more than enough room for us to be comfortable. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and the kids loved the pool area. It was quite at night and the owner of this condo was extremely friendly, going out of his way to help us with whatever we needed. There was plenty of parking and all the ammenities were only a short walk down the street. I would recommend this unit. Great stay for it's value. Candice

  The condo was nice and well kept when we arrived. Perfectly situated between beaches and lots of fun shops. The view off the lanai was beautiful - perfect view of cove beach and just overlooked the pool so we could see our kids swimming. There were a few crusty older people - there - not sure if they were locals or visitors, but the kids also met some really nice owners as well and they enjoyed spending time at the pool with them! We all had a very relaxing and enjoyable time - perfect for our 20th anniversary! The owner was also very accomodating with a late checkout time. I will definitely book again in the future.

  We were a little disappointed in this rental. The location is great, right across the street from Cove Park. It had plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 children. I thought the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The floors were dirty and things were a bit dusty. One of the bedrooms does not have air conditioning. The right front burner on the stove did not work and we were not able to use to the glass sliding door to the patio. It was very hard to open and would often fall off the track. We just gave up. We were unable to close and lock it as well creating a concern of possible security of our belongings. The complex is old and not as well maintained as I would like and the full-time residents were extremely unfriendly. I would not stay here again.

  This has been my 6th vacation in the same property. My wife, who is a neat freak loves this condo because it's updated and clean. We like the close proximity to restaurants and bars, plus the many parking spots in the lot. We checked in a little early and the property management was still fixing the numerous items that were broken by the previous renters. . Some people should just stay home. I do like the fact that the complex is quiet and I can enjoy the pool without being bothered by rude people. We are in the process of booking this condo again for later this year.

  We were very impressed with the location, as it is close to everything!!! As for the condo itself, we were very disappointed. When we first arrived the maid was still cleaning. Upon her exit she just mopped yet our feet/socks were black within an hour. I grabbed the mop and tried to re-clean the floor but it is so bad it was not even possible. I think the owners need to do a spot check ever so often because the condo was dirty. Fans have never been cleaned, caked with 2+ inches of dust. Lamps, artificial plants needs to be cleaned as well. The beds looked as if they were just slept in, very wrinkly and not made up as if you just checked into a hotel. That was very concerning to me. The A/C is either on or off, not able to adjust the settings so at night you either froze or sweat your tail off. The guest bathroom is in major need of upgrades. The shower is rusty and the shower head was broke spraying water everywhere. We called the maintenance number at 9am and no one came until after 5pm. So now showers for the day. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT leave ANY food (chips, cereal, fruits, etc) on the counters. Keep all in the fridge. The stove only has 2 (sometimes 3) burners that worked. I Can say the kitchen is well equiped!! We woke up to ants everywhere!!!! The patio area needs a good coat of paint; the railings are chipping and rusty nails peeking out. The washer smells of stagnent stale water even after washing. So clothes smelt that way too. Every Thursday is a welcoming PuPu Party at the pool. Well welcoming to adults, kids were frowned upon. We had two 1-year olds, an 8 year old and a 13 year old all of which love to swim. Our first day at the pool the neighbors directly below us gave us dirty looks and would not open the gate for us. The gate code written on the fridge was incorrect, yet no one who lived there would assist. So we asked our visiting neighbors whom were very helpful. We were told NO POOL TOYS, noise, etc at all, no glass which is ok yet the "owners" all had beer bottles, and smoking at the pool. I do not think the owners of this unit experience this nor have any knowledge that this is what their guests are arriving into. So I don't point the finger there. But would advise owners to check things out. I would not recommend this place to anyone with children or if you are in Hawaii to have a GOOD TIME. This condo is strictly for the retired. So sad since we spent so much money!!!!! We will return to Hawaii but not here!!

  it was a good layout for our family. We were a little worried when we say the surf beach across the road, thinking that was "the beach" but a few block north we found the sandy beach. As for the condo itself it needs a good clean. The carpets needs a professional steam clean desperately. The floors were filthy, we ended up hand washing it all because our feet were black after about an hour of walking around the condo getting organized. I was cut by glass on the floor that had been left previously. To be fair the owners aren't cleaning these a third party is, but I think a lot more care need to be taken, I would have been really ticked if our boys were cut with that same piece of glass. The patio chairs need to be replaced too there are rust nails that pop out when you sit in one of them, again would have been very ticked if the kids were hurt. The condo itself need a little money to be put into it. Good location, probably best for single adult couples as the shops and bars are close and bus is 5 minute walk to many activities. Owners were very accomodating for late check out, especially with late flights coming and going, perhaps later check out should be entertained since coming from Western Canada there is only one flight in which lands after 8:00pm and only one going home, that same airplane, just before 9:00pm.

  "What a wonderful condo! We had a glorious stay in Maui and staying here was like being in a cozy home away from home!!! Not only is it beautifully decorated but we found everything we needed to be comfortable. We thank our hosts for the many little extra touched & accommodations! Not only would we come back but I will cheerfully recommend to friends!! Thank you!!"

  We rented this condo because my son was getting married in Makena. My husband, daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandchildren were very happy with the condo. It had everything we needed, was clean and roomy and everyone was very confortable. It was like a home away from home. The owners are wonderful to work with and our questions were answered right away. We loved the view and could keep an eye on everyone in the pool from the balcony. Within walking distance is a beach and shopping. We would recommend this condo to anyone. Mahalo!
