  I recently stayed at this property and it was fantastic. It was clean, it had all the details needed for an easy, fun vacation. The design details are beautiful and so unique. It is obvious that the owner cares a lot about this place and has decorated it accordingly. I will absolutely be back.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  I took my two teenage sons to Wrightsville for Spring Break. The condo was perfect for the trip. It is located in close proximity to everything that they wanted to get into, and being beachfront, was great for the parents as well. This was our second year staying in this unit and the upgrades from last year are terrific. Although these units do not have a washer and dryer in the unit, the laundry room for the building is across the hall which is convenient as well. All in all, a great place to vacation and the property owner is a pleasure to work with.

  First, the good points: The location was excellent, withing walking distance to a small grocery store, a few restaurants, and a local bar. The beach was right out the back door down a very short path and was not very crowded despite our summer visit. The condo was clean (except for a few points I will mention later) and well supplied with towels, the beds comfortable, and the air conditioning was set to a perfect temperature. We are a family of four and there was ample room in the condo. The second bathroom seemed to be much larger than the master bathroom even though the floor plan was different. Be aware that because of the master bathroom layout, you could barely close the door to the toilet/tub area without getting hit by the door. However (here comes the not-so-good stuff), the TV in the living area was nothing short of tiny by today's standards. It was probably a 19" or so, way too small for the primary room, especially considering how inexpensive larger televisions are these days. Also, the kitchen was a HUGE disappointment. The refrigerator door was disgustingly dirty (I didn't even want to touch the handle) and the inside could have used a thorough wipe-down, and the toaster oven looked like it was from a few decades ago and was obviously in much need of replacement. The silverware was mismatched and permanently marked with a film or dirt on it, ditto for the glassware, making us not want to use any of it, so we ended up going to Target and buying plastic cups and paper plates. I didn't want to use any of the cookware either - it just didn't look clean. In addition, a previous guest had spilled something on the wall by the entrance to the master bedroom and the liquid had dripped down the wall - very unsightly. Sadly, it would not take much effort or money to buy a new TV, clean the wall, replace the silverware, glassware, and toaster oven, and replace the refrigerator if need be - something the owner should seriously consider. The condo is on the second floor directly above the pool - it was not an issue for us but you will not have a commanding view of the ocean like you would if you were on a higher floor. The noise at night from the patrons at the pool was not an issue either because the management does a good job of closing the pool after sundown. Overall it was a decent condo and I would definitely consider staying here again (the price was right) but hope the owner makes a few changes to make it a much better unit.

  We took our grandkids over Spring Break (late March) and couldn't have had a better condo in which to stay. My son in Wilmington showed us the sights of this quaint city - many interesting places to visit. We loved the carriage ride and also the trolley ride tour of the city. Touring the USS North Carolina battleship is highly recommended. We loved it! Wrightsville Beach was the prime location for us, being close to Wilmington. Station One condos couldn't have been a better choice! Our condo was quite charming and eclectic, and was very clean. It was just the right size for us. Even though the weather didn't cooperate by being warm and sunny, we still had fun playing basketball on the court and volleyball in the grassy area. My 8 year old grandson was very brave, and the only one of us who dared venture into the lovely pool, and we enjoyed our beautiful view of the pool and the ocean from our front windows. Of course, he also waded in the ocean and played in the sand - just a few strides away and very accessible from the condo. We appreciated the security that Station One offers. Guards continually monitor and check the parking lot area, the outside areas, and inside the complex. One needs a key to access the building, and one must even have a key to exit and enter the pool area to proceed onto the beach. We definitely will plan to stay here on our next visit to the Wilmington area. We highly recommend this condo!
