  This was the best trip and an amazing place to stay. The pictures are exactly how it is...if anything, it is better than the pics! So clean, beautiful and convenient. When we come back to Padre we will stay here again! We cannot wait! The condo is so close to the beach...easy to quickly run back in for a refresh on your drink or to grab a sandwich. Our 5 year old loved going crab hunting at night. Just a fantastic place to stay.

  We stayed here for the month of December and had a great time! This condo was perfect and the owners thought of everything. The people who work their are friendly and helpful. We look forward to staying here again!

  This condo really made our family vacation complete. The pictures do not do it justice. We were without want or need when we were there. Beautiful condo with a beautiful view. We want to come to the island every year now and this will definitely be our first choice! The owners are also very pleasant and easy to work with. Can't say enough good things about this place!

  My family, including 3 young children, stayed in this lovely condo for a week. It is even nicer than the pictures portray, with a cozy beach decor. The best thing is the easy beach access. We all had a wonderful time, and can't wait to go back! The owner and the staff were excellent to work with. Thank you Mari for sharing your home.

  My family and I stayed at this beautiful beach condo this past May for a week! We had a great time and there are no complaints or negatives! The condo is decorated in "Beach Chic Pottery Barn-ish" The beds are really comfortable,and there are enough tvs to go around for everyones taste. The owner has many beach items already at the condo and the guest really dont need to pack any unless they want. The only thing we would need be a beach umbrella, other than that, there are beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, etc. The beach is easy to get to, and easy to see from the back windows. We also enjoyed the pools and hot tubs. The security men are outstanding and very friendly and are willing to help at any chance they get. This condo was also a better deal $$$$ than many other beachfronts at this quality level. The owner is very easy to work with and she is very kind. I would NOT hesitiate to stay here again. You will not go wrong at all! Thanks Mari!

  We had a great time and we're so comfortable. Everthing you need is there for you. You are steps from the beach. The unit is really well decorated and absolutely well taken care of. The owners are attentive and extremely easy to get along with. Overall it was a fantastic vacation. We'll definately reccommend this condo to friends and family. Loved it. John

  The condo was all that is was described to be. It had plenty of room, the view was wonderful and being able to walk out the back door and onto the beach was totally wonderful! We came down to enjoy the water and sun and ended up loving the whole place. The beach was clean and well kept, the people were nice and friendly and helpful. I will be glad to share this place with any of my friends looking for a great place to get away to. And with any luck, we will be back. Thanks for the great memories we were able to make on our girls trip to padre!!!

• Great place to stay in SPI, right on the beach

  We stayed mid-May 2011 in this condo. This was our family's second year to rent a condo at SPI. This condo was much nicer than our one last year. Everything was updated, everything worked well (showers drained, ice maker worked, etc.) and the location was great! The condo was stocked with everything we needed, kitchen utensils, beach chairs, toys and cooler, and just about anything else you could want. There were 3 tvs with cable and dvd players in both bedrooms. The complex pool was nice and clean, the staff at the complex were friendly and helpful, and it was just a short walk to the beach. Being at the end of SPI seemed to make the beach less crowded and have less traffic. The only negatives of the condo were the lack of dishwasher and the view to an extent. Not having a dishwasher wasn't that big of deal, everything needed to wash dishes was provided. As for the view, there are large sand dunes that obscure the view of the ocean somewhat (this is clearly shown in the pictures on vbro). The up side to this though is that they also cut down on the wind in the the "backyard" quite a bit, making it nice to sit on the back porch and let our daughter run in the grass. Also, it is my opinion that if you want a view, get a top floor condo, if you want to go to the beach, get this condo. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo and would stay there again. The owners were easy to deal with, quick to respond to questions or issues, and quick to refund the deposit money after the stay. If you are looking for somewhere to take your family on SPI, this is your place (my 3 year old daughter still asks when we are going back to "our beach house").

  My boyfriend and I had a wonderful, relaxing time staying here. The pictures don't lie. The condo is beachy feeling and very open. You MUST sit on the patio and watch the sunrise - a perfect way to start the day. The owners are wonderful - very nice, responsive, and returned our deposit almost immediately after we left. We had everything we wanted and WILL go back again.
