Immerse yourself in spacious comfort in a single family 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in a safe, gated community amidst elegant surroundings. It features a fully equipped kitchen for in-home gourmet dining. Then, relax by your own private swimming pool or in the landscaped tropical gardens. The living room has an entertainment and communications centre including an outdoor sound system. Enjoy your home cooked meals in a separate dining room that accommodates up to 10 people. Master bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom, second floor has two bedrooms with one queen size bed and one full/double bed. A fully finished lower level with casual entertainment complete with television, a queen size bed and a additional queen size inflatable bed and 3 piece bathroom which is one of the four bedrooms. Don't forget the little ones we also have a portable crib/playpen and boaster seat for meal time.

My family and I stayed at the Stargaze Villa in Feb 2013. There were eight adults in total and plenty of room for all of us. The house comes fully equipped with all the essentials, including towels, linens, toilet paper and even propane for the BBQ. The location of the villa was great. It's about a five minute drive from the airport and a five minute walk to the beach and bus stop where you can hop on the #10 bus to Nassau for $1.25 US per person (~25 minute drive). There are several supermarkets and liquor stores accessible via the #10 bus which runs until about 6pm. Therefore, we tended to go out and about during the day and spent our evenings in the villa as cabs are pretty expensive to get around. The upper deck was our go-to spot in the evenings for just hanging out. The locals in Gambier Village were very welcoming and friendly; it was great to be close to the local culture and away from the touristy areas. We were the only people on Love Beach! The Stargaze owners conveniently arranged our transportation to and from the airport and our driver Henry was prompt and accommodating; he stopped at a liquor store on the way in for us and stopped at the local school on the way out so we could leave behind some donations (e.g. clothes, school supplies, etc – highly recommend this!). It was great to have our own private pool and the slide was a lot of fun too. The pool isn't heated so the water was chilly especially since we had cooler weather the first couple days but it didn't stop us from enjoying it nonetheless. I would stay here again if travelling with a group of people.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I was looking for a place where i could relax and enjoy a week away from the stress. I decided on the bahamas. I choose stargaze villa because a couple for my friends stayed there before and they recommend that I stayed there because It would everything at my finger tip, the beach, restuarants, and my own private pool. I'm happy i did! this place is relaxing, spacious and beautiful. Plus it Allow me to sit by the pool with no interuption from the nieghbours or the outside community. The property manager was very helpful with my grocery that was prerequested. I had a great time, I would most definately go back with my family and friends again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The pictures do not do this place justice. The views are amazing. I love the airy open feel of the house. It was definitely a home away from home yet it felt all new. The owners are very helpful although being a bit far away. With internet and phone access everything is easily managed. I wish I could work from there. I would live there. The property was ready for me to just lay around. I love the cozy feeling of the living area. The home is gated so I felt safe. Although I went at he beginning of the summer it wasn't as hot as I anticipated inside the actual home so I just kept it open and used the AC in the evening for a comfortable sleep. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone for a friends trip or for a large family. My boyfriend and I took a getaway there and it was amazing. Now I know what I want in a house! Thank you so much to the owners. I will definitely be going back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Every three years or so my college girlfriends have a reunion. This year we chose to head to the Bahamas for some sun, relaxation and just catching up with each other. The location of the villa is good in that it is close to the beach and it is not too far of a drive for groceries, restaurants and the tourist attractions. I encourage any visitor to increase their level of security consciousness. Be sure to use the deadbolt above the front door and make sure the motion-detector front porch light switch is in the on position.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Unfortunately we were very dissapointed with this property. Toilet leaked, cable didn't work in one of the rooms, many missing bulbs, pool lights that didn't work, no hot water (luke warm), recent break in, and the list goes on. I spoke with one of the owners and got a lot of excuses but unfortunately excuses don't help you when you are on vacation. Was a little upset when we were informed of the recent break in after we had already arrived in Nassau at the property. Also, owners mentioned that the property was about to be renovated soon....DON'T RENT AGAIN UNTIL AFTER THE RENOVATIONS!!!! Bottom line, this place needs a GOOD property manager to keep working properly. I don't think the owner understood my point that when new customers arrive EVERYTHING should be in working order and not discovered by the person renting it because then its too late.Owner response: We appreciate receiving your review. Shortly after arrival at Stargaze villa it is mandatory that an inspection of the property by the guests is carried out with our property manager and it was agreed that everything was fine and in working order. Our property manager is always on hand to resolve any minor issues such as light bulbs and pool lights. Furthermore our property manager makes sure that among the many check off items discussed with guest is the importance of their safety. We take all necessary precautions in securing our property and our guests. We would also like to point out that our villa was scheduled to be closed for annual maintenance but we kept Stargaze villa open for one extra week to accommodate last minute rental. In response to the numerous issues raised Regarding the leaking toilet. The seal on the toilet drain broke as a result of normal wear and tear and was in working order prior to the arrival of the guest. When we offered to have this problem fixed within 24 hours of being notified by the guest we were advised by the guest that they did not want to have this done while they were on their vacation. Our pollicies is not to have any maintenance work done on the property while guest are renting without someone overseeing the process. Regarding the cable problem we offer satellite dish reception in the living room and cable in 3 bedrooms. In the one room where the cable became non functioning our property manager tried to get this working at Stargaze Villa with the assistance of the cable company on the phone but without success and the earliest cable technician appointment was the day before the guest departure which was again declined by the guest. Regarding the missing light bulbs on the ceiling fans each fan contains 3 sets of lights with each set containing 4 bulbs. Some of these light bulbs had been unscrewed by previous guest who did not want the excess light and had not been screwed back. Our property manager resolved this problem within 24 hours of this being reported. Regarding the pool lights these lights were working on arrival as confirmed by the inspection. The switch operating the lights had been turned off subsequently a few days later. The pool lights all function and it was a simple matter of turning the switch back on which our property manager did after going over all possible reason why the lights would be off.

This home is perfect for those wanting to have the convenience of being close to town and also away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Nassau. Stargaze has everything you need to make your stay perfect. A private pool to relax in at the end of the day, 1-5 minute walk to wonderful beaches and walking distance to two great restaurants, Compass Point and Travellers Rest.. A short 20 minute bus ride gets you to Nassau for all your shopping needs but it is quite nice to retreat to your own home for peace and quiet and a cocktail on the rooftop deck for beautiful sunsets. We are a family of nine and there was plenty of room for all of us. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away from it all yet be close enough to town if you want to experience all Nassau has to offer. One last note on our last day our cab driver stood us up and the housekeeper Jeshau was kind enough to get us to the airport in time for our flight home. She was more than happy to help and was there the entire stay to meet any need we had.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is the best way to stay while on vacation. We had 7 of us in this beautiful home. We cooked our own dinners, had cable tv, in ground private pool, washer and dryer, huge kitchen over looking the back yard, with walk out to covered veranda and separate formal dining. The neighborhood is private and quiet. One block down by the water is a bus stop where we caught the city bus into town rather than driving. We were able to meet and enjoy the company of the locals who were very informative and helpful. Around the corner to the left from the bottom of the driveway is a small grocer and small "diner" a bit farther down from there with delicious food. Back to the water front is a fruit stand, farther down from there Compass Point Restaurant with amazing food. You can walk where ever you want in the neighborhood and feel safe though there is a gate at the bottom of the drive if you desire...never did close it. Hurricane shutters on all the windows give your a sense of security. Copula above the top level master suite is a great place for happy hour and enjoying the sunsets. The owners were wonderful to work answering any questions and our friend even spoke to them, not just via e mail. The manager was a doll.. She gave us our initial tour and a phone number if we had any problems. This was a great way to really relax. I have recommended this to many of my friends as a way to really have a vacation. Even though we cooked our own meals we all shared in that task and even make popcorn for the movies(brought our own from home). .Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Well sure, I've re-edit this one a little but use it however you want.... To Stargaze villa owners and staff, I'm not sure I can express our feelings in an e-mail, but we enjoyed everything at your vacation home in Nassau. I believe we either liked the pool, we saw hummingbirds every morning while in the pool or the rooftop and the sunsets the best. The pictures do not do justice to the place, and there is so much outdoor space and the huge pool deck. The master bedroom and the kitchen are great. We hope we can return. Your property manager was gracious and charming. We found Super Value a pretty good shopping choice (it was close since we had a car) and we really enjoyed Jaws beach and the Clifton National park (found a big conch shell while snorkeling). Went to both Travelers rest and Compass Point (pizza is pretty good there,at the bar). Wedding at Hotel on Cable Beach was very nice for Nephew, BUT, we enjoyed your home so much after being there for a day. Best wishes to all. Thanks Again G and SDid you find this review helpful? We visited Bahamas for the first time and we loved it. Stargaze Villa was the perfect vacation home. There was a lot of room for our family. We loved the pool and barbeque! We bought this property as we love the Bahamian lifestyle, climate and proximity to the sea. The house is designed for entertaining and relaxing both of which we love to do. Eventually, we plan to retire to our house and have lazy days by the pool and watch the breath taking sunsets and stargaze from our roof top hide away.
