  Hidden Harmony was exactly what we hoped it would be and more! There were no 'surprises' as there so often are when you rent a vacation home. We have a large family and rent a beach house every summer. We've been to many Florida destinations as well as Playa Del Carmen and California. We have learned that the houses are never quite the same as they look on the internet, THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT! EVERYTHING WAS AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE! The owner/property manager, Ian, was so helpful. He always got right back to us with information and answers, he sent us pictures from his own vacation at the house earlier in the summer so we could have a better idea of what the island was like. We had Sandie's grocery's shop for us and stock our house, which for us was 100% worth the fee! We took a private charter boat over to the island which, with a party of 6 was cheaper than the ferry service. I highly recommend Captain Dan of Bokeelia Water Taxi, he was fantastic his boat was large, clean and very comfortable. Plus he was a great tour guide! We were greeted at the dock by Vicki, who was very helpful getting us to the house via golf carts. In our 10 days on the island we only needed to call Vicki twice and she took care of us immediately. The island was even more beautiful than we had imagined, pictures do not do it justice. The shelling beach was incredible! We absolutely loved our stay from beginning to end. North Captiva Club was very low key, clean beautiful pools, great little bar and restaurant, we really enjoyed getting to know the staff at the club they were fun and friendly and poured a tasty margarita. One MUST do; Kayaking from NCIC ( kayaks are free to club members and guests so we rented the kayaks often!) on the kayak trips we saw dolphins frolicking all around our small boat, within 10 feet of us! Manatees came right up to our kayak rubbed their bellies on our boats and followed us around. My kids Loved the manatees!!! the wildlife on and around North Captiva Island just can't be beat. We stayed for 10 days and it was not enough. We could have stayed the entire summer! We loved Hidden Harmony. The house was very clean, super spacious, so much to do; pool table, several large screen tvs, X-box and games, dart board, swimming pool, gourmet kitchen, wrap around screened in decks, golf carts, basketball court.....BEAUTIFUL VIEWS, everything you need to have a great family vacation. Thank you Ian!!! our trip was wonderful and we hope to come back soon!

We absolutely loved our stay from beginning to end, except we didn't want it to end.   This house has everything that is needed & then some. We arrived by Island Girl Charters at Barnacle Phils. Vicki arrived to pick up us & all our provisions. Thankfully she came with a cart. Upon arrival we were all amazed at how close we were from the dock. About 2 minutes, via golf cart. The house was HUGE. The kids got lost in all the space & space was still available. The outside basketball court was used almost every night. Where can you play BBall at 10pm at night & still hear the sounds of the birds. North Captiva Island is an hidden jewel that everyone should experience at least once. THe screened in deck was great for breakfast as the sun rose, cocktails in the afternoon & a teenage dining area for dinner. Vicki was a blessing as she was available & met our every need, even when we were searching for a cooler for all the fish that was being caught by Barnacle Phils. The golf carts were great & allowed us to visit every area of the island. If you are looking for a vacation where you have a lot to do but no time table to do them, then choose this home. If you want privacy, you can find that. If you want to be together, just call & everyone can come running. Will having 4 teenagers on board, there was never a moment that they were "bored". There was ALWAYS somehting to do. Hopefully a return visit can be planned.

  Date of Stay: December 26, 2010 Review Submitted: January 3, 2011 We just returned from Hidden Harmony. We were there with our 3 adult children and infant grandson. It was a GREAT home! It is very open and spacious. Everything was well taken care of and clean. There were many areas where you could gather as a group but also get away for some quiet/private time. We loved the dart game that they had available. Sooo much fun! The kitchen was amazing!!! There was everything you could have needed and also several small appliances, even a fry daddy. We were greeted at the dock by Vicki and taken right to our home. We had a few questions that we needed to ask during our stay and she was very available. We used the club facilities and everyone was very helpful. Great time had by all!!!! We will be returning hopefully when it's warmer. Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls getaway, Tourists without a car, Sightseeing, Families with teenagers, Families with young children, Romantic getaway
