The Waves: Charming one or two-bedroom apartment in quiet village location within walking distance of beaches, marina, golf, tennis, fitness center. Two-family home was custom-designed and completed in 2010. Apartment is located on second floor with private entrance.
Open layout combines living/dining/kitchen area. Cathedral ceilings, balcony with French doors, hardwood floors, cupola, skylights, gourmet kitchen, ceiling fans, central air conditioning, cable, large flat-screen TV with DVD, free Wi-Fi for your laptop, and stereo dock for your IPod. YOU choose the layout that fits your needs: One bedroom with Queen bed, OR optional second bedroom with Queen bed and seating area. One full bath with tub/shower combo and double sink vanity. Outside BBQ with private patio and dining table. Pets may be permitted by advance request only (no cats).
Interior appopintments inspired by New York Yacht Club's original yachting station in Newport (now The Moorings). America's Cup memorabilia includes museum-quality half models of U.S. defenders of the America's Cup Races, from J-Boats to Twelve-Meter Yachts. Fantastic marine library.

This is a lovely apartment and is well-equipped, clean, and very tastefully furnished. We had a wonderful time visiting Jamestown, Newport, and the surrounding areas. The owner was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and immediately responsive to the few minor issues which came up during our stay. This is a very comfortable, roomy, clean place to stay if in Jamestown for more that a few days. We had most of our family dinners here because of the spaciousness. My mother was very comfortable in the roomy 2nd bedroom. She spent many hours crocheting by the big window. Can't wait to use this space again on a long visit.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a wonderful relaxing Labor weekend here! The house is spacious and bright with everything new and shining, even for an extend family (four adults and a baby). The owner is very friendly and knows the area very well.. It's less than 15 min away from newport and the ferry from james town to newport is very convenient with several other stops! Highly recommend this!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We were the first to stay in this darliing guest house, which was comfortable and tastefully appointed. Everything was fresh and new. The kitchen is fabulous and staples were thoughtfully provided.
