  My wife and I stayed on the north end of the island last year. After spending the majority of each day in the dive boat, we decided to look for a place to stay in closer proximity to the reefs. We happened upon Residencias Reef and knew that was where we wanted to return. After some investigating, we found Patsy's listing for 5120. She responded quickly and we made our reservation. Upon our arrival, we immediately realized that her description of the property was under represented; not only does it have an amazing view, but the furnishings are are not typical for a vacation rental (much higher end) and the place was stocked with extreme attention to detail and absolutely nothing overlooked to ensure the comfort of the guests. We shared the condo with another couple and found the layout to perfect. The proximity to the beach and pool make this unit one of the best in the complex. The complex is stunningly beautiful, quiet, and safe (as is the rest of the island). We dove six days with ProDive from the Allegro, which is about 1.5 mi south of the complex. We were able to leave our gear with them, and each day we returned, the staff recognized us and immediately retrieved it -- this was VERY convenient. The staff were friendly and very professional; I highly recommend them. I also recommend Albertos's beach location; it's about 2 miles south of the condo right on the beach. The food and atmosphere are amazing. Thanks, Patsy for your hospitality. we'll definitely be returning soon.

  Our recent stay at this property exceeded all our expectations...your condo is beautifully decorated and everything is as described on the VRBO website and even more amazing in person. We were very comfortable, anything we needed was provided, and Veronica prepared several terrific meals for us. I highly recommend Veronica - as has been mentioned in other reviews, her meals are far superior to those you pay top dollar for at local restaurants. Luis handled our arrival wonderfully and always took the time to answer questions we had about the island, as well as ensure we had everything at the condo that we needed. We did a lot of snorkeling around the condo and found Playa Palapa, just down the road, to have wonderful snorkeling as well as terrific chicken fajitas. The eastern side of the island is stunning and we especially enjoyed going to Coconuts. I would recommend your condo to anyone looking for a relaxing, pampered vacation.

  Patsy, We all wanted to say thank you and let you know that we had a wonderful vacation. Your condo is everything as advertised. The location is great, and we felt like we were in someone’s home. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed somewhere so comfortable and fully equipped. And Veronica could not have been any nicer. We all agreed that we will visit again. Again, thank you so much. Jenni

  Our family of four (kids are 7 & 11) just returned from a wonderful week in Cozumel. This condo is even better than described. We've had many good experiences booking through VRBO but we've never encountered an owner who is so very attentive to every detail of the guests' overall experience. The condo is beautifully decorated and fully equiped with everything you could possibly need; it feels more like a permanent home than a rental property. Veronica and her sister Reyna are wonderful and kept the condo spotless; they even cooked a delicious traditional Mexican meal for us one night. The staff at Residencias Reef is super nice and always greeted us with a smile. They keep the property spotless and beautiful. Patsy keeps a binder filled with general island information, tips, activities and tons of restaurant recommendations in the condo, which was so helpful. We highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Cozumel.

  Look no further, you have found the perfect place to stay. The description of this condo was very accurate, even a bit modest. Beautifully decorated, every amenity you can imagine, a gorgeous kitchen and the entire place was spotless! It felt like we were staying at a home, not just a rental property. You can tell the owners have a great love of the island and really wanted us to have a great experience, and we did. I would say it was the best getaway we have ever had. My husband and I went on this trip to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary and we are planning to make it a yearly getaway! I highly recommend this property for anyone at any age, and I can't wait to bring my son next year he will be 6. A very secure place not that it even needs it, the whole island has a very comfortable and safe feeling. The owners made great efforts in helping us plan things to do that were a perfect fit for us including, excellent places to eat, very out of the way places to shop, and a must do for everyone visiting the island...a trip to the other side. The beaches were amazing! We cannot wait to go back to this beautiful island for a stay in this perfect condo!

  Hey Patsy, I mailed out the check for 1057.50 today. Hopefully I didn't wait too late and lose the unit. I am really sorry. Maria and I went on a vacation to St. Martin for our anniversary and just got back. Needless to say, that place pales in comparison to Cozumel. Trash all over the beach....people on the island so lazy they could care less about the tourists...units with bugs and in ill repair (and this was at a resort with a Gold Crown RCI rating)...just not a very good time. I can't tell you how much better our experience was with your place. We are SO looking forward to coming back to paradise and wiping the memory of St. Trash Island out of our mind. Regards, Larry

  I am a scuba instructor who has visited Cozumel about 40 times in the last 19 years. Our party of 4 spent 5 days at this wonderful condo (#5120) for our dive trip the week of June 28, 2010. We loved the place ! It's very comfy, spacious, nicely decorated and actually better in real life than in the pictures. It has a gorgeous beach view, with the white sandy beach only a few steps from the front porch, and 2 nice outdoor swimming pools in close proximity. There are large LCD TVs with satellite service in the living room and bedrooms, which are nicely furnished. The bathrooms are nice and sparkling clean. There are electronic safes to keep your valuables. There's also a Skype phone that can be used for free phone calls to the US. We cooked breakfasts daily in the fully-equipped kitchen, and for dinners, we took Patsy's recommendation and hired the housekeeper, Veronica, to cook for us. One could tell that Veronica loves cooking from the meals she prepared for us, complete with side dishes of rice, beans, salsa, chips, guacamole and pico de gallo ... Veronica speaks good English, and is very cheerful and pleasant. The complex is safe, well-maintained and well-lit at nights. We rented a car from Thrifty for $42 a day, including liability insurance and unlimited mileage. For the diving, we chose Careyitos Diving (www.advanceddivers.com) who ran a very safe and excellent operation, with a large yet fast boat and very knowledgeable and personable dive guides and a delicious lunch. Careyitos picked us up and dropped us off every day at the Aura pier, a 3-minute walk from our porch (there is a daily charge of $3 per person for using the pier, but well worth it) ! Talk about getting spoiled ! Last but not least, it was a pleasure to book the condo through Patsy. Not only was she pleasant and helpful in answering questions, the whole transaction was friendly, based on trust, and hassle-free. I felt like she treated me as a friend, which inspired us to treat her place with care, like it's ours. We would definitely come back next year !
