We knew we were going to Key Largo but had no idea that we had booked a gated private paradise with the most unique and magnificent home, private beach and pier. Dolphins swam in the coral reef just three feet from our own beach and the bird species playing in the cove were incredible! We didn't even have to get out of bed to see the most incredible sunrises! Within 24 hours of arrival we knew we had been spoiled and our plans to tour the other keys, drive to Key West, and do a day trip to South Beach were quickly forgotten! We never even made it to Alabama Jacks (famous restaurant), just up the street because we were so intoxicated by this unbelievable chunk of paradise! However, we did make ourselves charter a boat for some sight-seeing but since it picked us up on our own dock we didn't have to leave for long! We also went out for dinner every night for conch and seafood in Key Largo's fantastic restaurants, and enjoyed several bayside sunsets, snorkeling outings, and one dinner on Islamorada. We've been to lots of "waterside" places including Maui and Martha's Vineyard but this "Waterside" (as it is called by the family) in North Key Largo was by far the most spectacular experience, and the hardest to leave!! The owners are wonderful people and this is a place to visit more than once! Our son is 20 and we hope he'll want to get married at Waterside one day!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have had the opportunity to stay at Waterside several times. It is our favorite place on earth to unwind, relax, de-stress and commune with nature. We spend hours sitting on the deck, watching the ocean and listening to the sound of water and the birds, reading a book, and playing the guitar. I love the way it feels like we are the only people alive when we are there. In the evening we enjoy unwinding in the hot tub and then watching the moon rise over the Atlantic. In the morning we watch the sunrise by peaking through our toes. The house is always clean and everything works so there are no worries. We usually stop by one of the nearby grocery stores for supplies after we arrive, so we do not have to leave the property if we don't want to. Of course, we don't always want to cook, so we go to one of the many restaurants in the vicinity, usually one where we can watch the sunset over Florida Bay. Although my favorite time is when its just my husband (and best friend) and I alone at Waterside with our dogs, we have had two group outings. We spent a week with our friends (the crazy 8s). There was enough room that we didn't get on each other's nerves. We especially enjoyed big breakfasts together after sunrise at the big family dining table. Mai Tais for breakfast is a great way to start the day! We also celebrated my Dad's 75th birthday with a family reunion at Waterside. Again there was plenty of room for everyone to have their space yet we got to reconnect and play cards and board games as a family, after several years of being scattered around the country. It is a trip we will always remember! We have recommended Waterside to a number of friends and associates. It is heaven on earth and you should plan your trip soon!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a truly remarkable place! It is one of the most unique vacation homes I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Every room has an incredible view and it is remarkably private! Gated from the road and set far enough off the road that there is no visibility and there are virtually no neighbors. Private dock and protected bay make it very boat friendly and private channel is great for snorkeling and fishing. There is a private beach and hot tub also on the property. This home is an all around great place to visit, regardless if you are looking for a great family getaway or a guy's fishing trip or even a fun girl's trip, this home has enough space and amenities to suit all of your needs. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We just spent a wonderful week at Waterside in North Key Largo! Interesting modular configuration, was perfect for the number of guests (12) and rooms that our group needed. Great water front for boating and fishing, we caught shark, tarpon, flounder and snappers right from the dock! Secluded and quiet location, yet only 3 miles from US1 and all of the Key Largo shops and restuarants. Can't wait to return.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Spacious home, sleeps at least 14, 2 fully equipped kitchens, 3 baths, washer and dryer, secluded, wonderful white sandy beach, great fishing from dock, boat access, and an absolutely beautiful view! I would definitely recommend this home for a fabulous vacation!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
