  We spent a week at the dome house at the end of May and could not have been more pleased!! The owners and their caretakers were great. The house is a unique treasure. Our boys, ages 6, 4, and 1, and our dog (as well as mom and dad) had a wonderful time. There are toys, books, and videos for kids that made our vacation extra special. The kitchen and living area are upstairs and have everything you need, and being able to do laundry was a bonus! We stopped in Mammoth for groceries on the way up and then made all our meals in the house and had little day trips. The location is great for visits to Bodie, Mammoth, Yosemite via Tioga Pass, Bishop, Mono Lake, and all areas in between. June, Gull, and Silver lakes are super close and are perfect fishing spots for our little fishermen. We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation and hope to return. This sure beat camping!!!

  Our family enjoyed a wonderful few days of relaxation over Easter break at the Dome Home. The home was just as advertised. The home is clean and warm; the bedrooms are spacious and cozy; and the living space upstairs is deceptively large. The home is convenient to the amenities of the town of June Lake and the other surrounding destinations. We loved our stay and plan to return soon.

  The dome is a beautiful unique home surrounded by massive snow capped mountains. Its is a quiet, scenic area that provides a great time for any one who enjoys the outdoors. We had a great weekend stay and were able to walk to June Mtn. for ski and snowboarding. The house is fully equipped with cooking supplies, linens, towels, beds, ect...pretty much anything you need. We really enjoyed our stay in this uniquely shaped house as well as some of the crazy acoustics that the dome shaped roof provides. Looking forward to coming back!

  Spent a week at the Dome, whole family had a fantastic time. Great family retreat (we have 3 kids under 5, plus dog), well appointed (including toys and videos), spacious, quiet, well lit, and central to everything. You need to bring clothes and buy food, everything else is included. The owners and their management staff are friendly and responsive. Don't miss Panum Crater on the way to the South Tufas at Mono Lake, the community park facing Gull Lake, and the diner in the Mobile at the Tioga/120 turnoff.

  Truly a gem cabin.Our family really liked our stay at the dome house.Really well kept and super clean.Our children really enjoyed the stay.The owner was very friendly and informative.I would for sure recommend this place to family and friends.A great place to spend family time away from the hussle and bussle of the city life. Thank you for having your beautiful cabin available to rent.Loved it!!!

  We had a perfect stay at the dome house. First, there's the location. Easy travel times to all the places you want to see in the Eastern Sierras (Yosemite, Mono Lake, Devil's Postpile, Mammoth, etc.), and on days when you want to stick close to home, the charming town of June Lake and all the recreational opportunities on the June Lake loop. Second, there's the house. What a find! Comfortable, clean, spacious, with an enormous living/cooking/dining area that's just to die for. We had trouble pulling the kids away from the house to go boating! Third, there's the Slowiks and their local caretakers in June Lake. Excellent, rapid communication, very very helpful, on the spot for anything that's needed. When you think what you would spend on a motel, this is a bargain that simply can't be beat!

  If you are looking for a spacious cabin in a mountain location with beautiful surroundings, that is it. The cabin is very clean with everything that you need to have a wonderful vacation. Owners went out of their way to accomodate us as we had small children. The town of June Lake is a gem hidden in the mountains with quaint shops and restaurants. The area is very diverse with many hikes,wonderful lake and close to Yosemite. We had a great time and would recommend this vacation home to anybody looking for relaxation in the mountains.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  Well kept, great ambiance. Definitely a family friendly home. Close access to skiing, sledding, restaurants and spa. Great place to recharge your batteries and create great memories for your kids. Slowiks are great people and easy to work with. We made the best snowman ever and will be back next year.
