Hi Phil, We just got back home. Had a really great time in St. Augustine and your home was perfect. Great location, comfortable, clean and a historic feel without the hassle of an old house. Loved walking into town every day through the Old Town neighborhood. Everyone in our tour group was jealous that we had such luxurious accomodations.. We had a wonderful stay over halloween 2012, home is beautifully decorated and comfy a perfect home away from home. A great walk to attractions, restaurants and bars. A very safe and quiet neighborhood. We did have a protector in the home each night our friend would stand on her balcony to enjoy the stars she would leave the door unlocked as she slept each morning after she awoke she would attempt to go back on the balcony to breath the morning air she would find the door locked, I also heard a few noises in the early morning and when I would go down to the kitchen to make the coffee I would find the empty dishwasher running. Nothing scary happened I felt safer knowing we were protected. I would recommend this home to everyone . The beds are comfortable, home is amazing and the neighborhood inviting. I will be staying here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property on numerous levels. The owners are a pleasure to work with, and they take great pride in their property-and it shows! The fact that this home is walking distance to most (if not all) of downtown St. Augustine is a real plus when you are carting around young children. Overall, we had a very good vacation and an excellent stay at this home. My husband and I stayed in this beautiful, well appointed home for 5 days in April. We could not have been more pleased with the home. It was surrounded by other picturesque homes and was extremely quiet. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere. So many great restaurants, historical sites, and the gorgeous river- all within a short walk. I would recommend this property to any and all interested in visiting St. Augustine. Don't miss dinner at the Casa Monica and The Colombian. Breakfast is served all day at La Herecha on Avile Street. We really enjoyed touring the cathedrals, Flagler College and The Fountain of Youth. We took a scenic cruise on the river and witnessed a large sea turtle and several dolphins frolicking about. The owner was extremely helpful in responding to our inquiries. Schedule your trip today! This was a great house to spend a month in. First of all the house is roomy, beautifully decorated and inviting, secondly, it is within walking distance of everything: church, post office, restaurants and historic section. The kitchen is great too with lots of countertop space and practical for those of us who love to cook. The neighborhood is charming, it's a block from the lake and marsh with the wadding birds in one direction and a block to the Intercoastal/Matanzas River in the other direction. Morning walks on the seawall to Castillo San Marco and evening walks around the lake were among our daily activities. The Lighthouse, Alligator Farm and Wednesday Market in St Augustine Beach should also not be missed. We definetely can recommend staying here.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Staying at this house for our recent vacation was fantastic. Our family (four adults and two small children) had plenty of room. The house came well equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. It's just a short walk to town, allowing us to really enjoy all the Oldest City has to offer. Hoping to stay here again, the next time we decide to vacation in St Augustine.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

What a wonderful location! Right in the historic area and within safe walking distance of shops, restaurants and everything old St. Augustine has to offer. My husband, my daughter, her friend and I stayed here over Christmas weekend and it was everything as described. Quiet, comfortable, well equipped, with off street parking! After touring Old Town, it was nice to come back "home" and relax in this beautiful place. Lynn and Phil were especially good at getting back to me via e-mails in a prompt and friendly manner and that's a huge plus when renting a place sight unseen! I've had very good luck over the years renting through VRBO! I would recommend this home to anyone visiting the St. Augustine area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I spent 3 days at this property the last week of June. The home was one of those pleasant surprises that you hope for when making an on line reservation. The place felt brand new. It was roomy, comfortable, decorated nicely, and had nice amenities. The location was walking distance to just about everything. Lot's of nice restaurants near by. Parking downtown is difficult, so being able to leave the car at the house and walk everywhere was a big +. Dear Phil & Lynn, I wanted to write you a quick note to tell you what a wonderful time we had at your rental house located at 318 Charlotte Street. The house itself is stunning and has a great layout with plenty of room for hanging out downstairs while watching the big flat screen TV. The kitchen was more than adequate and also included dishes, a coffee maker and a dishwasher...all of the essentials. We particurlay appreciate the 2.5 bathrooms, as there were 4 women here and you can never have enough of those when it's time to get ready to go out. When we arrived the house was in stellar condition, everything was very clean and smelled fresh. The actual location was perfect, a short walk to the Old Town where all the bars, restaurants and shops were. St. Augustine is a tough place to find parking and can cost an arm and a leg, so have parking and being close enough to walk was key for us.
