The Tatoosh Tipi – camping at its finest! Come and enjoy an experience of a lifetime in this beautiful and private 22’ diameter Tipi hand painted the native Ceremonial design with a 9’ canvas liner hung inside for privacy (also beautifully hand painted). The floor of the tipi is stamped concrete with terra cotta coloring and cozy rugs. In the center of the tipi, enjoy a fire ring fire pit that will take the chill out of the air on cool evenings, not to mention the incredible romantic ambiance it brings.
Outside the Tipi and a few feet steps away is your private bath house, complete with shower, toilet and sink. All the comforts of home!
Enjoy your morning, day, or evening out on the large cedar deck complete with a propane rotisserie BBQ grill, and a covered counter work area, mini frig, dishes, utensils, pots and pans as well as table and chairs. Then later sit around the campfire enjoying s’mores.
The Tipi campsite is located on 8 acres of private park-like property that sits along the Cowlitz River and conveniently located to area attractions such as Mt. Rainier, Mt St Helens and Pinchot National Park where hiking trails are bountiful.
Spring, summer and fall, come experience the romance of the west and turn "roughing it" into a luxurious experience. Your stay at the Tatoosh Tipi will truly be a special vacation!
