Our stay at Solstice 15 could not have been better. The condo was amazing and huge. All the bedrooms were wonderful and each had its own TV. Our whole family was very impressed. The master bath gave us plenty of room to get our bride ready for her wedding day. The location was perfect. It was down the street from the village and close enough from everything else. We would stay here again without reservation. We have stayed ay many different places over the years and this was by far the nicest.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We always have a wonderful time in Mammoth with family and friends. We love to stay at Solstice 15 and the layout works great for our family. The unit is kept up well and we will definitely book again next year. The only complaint I have is with the golf course directly across the street. They start up their equipment at 6:15 in the morning and with open windows it gets quite loud! I wouldn't let that hold you back from the beauty you will experience in the crisp and clean mountain air first thing in the morning. The fishing was also excellent as usual and we can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers.

We had an amazing stay at Solstice 15. The place was very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The beds were also comfortable, with plenty of extra pillows. We were a large group and everyone had a bed to sleep in. The large loft was great for the kids. Bedrooms and both bathrooms were very spacious. The kitchen had ton of goodies. The owner even made a special trip to refill the kitchen snacks and candy bowls... Thank you !!!. We used the BBQ grill on the patio several times, which was a big plus for us. The heated underground garage was another huge plus, as it was snowing during our stay. Loading the cars and putting chains on our tires would've been a challenge to do outside during a storm. Overall we were very happy and satisfied with the place and service we were given. I would definitely recommand this property to those looking for a homey, confortable stay with all the amenities needed.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We rented this property in February 2011. We had a great time and will be staying here again in the future! The listing was completely accurate; however, the photos do not do the place justice! The view from the living room window is absolutely amazing! The property was exceptionally clean and the property management company was very, very helpful. We called them for one thing and the maintenance personnel were knocking on our door 5 minutes later! Also, we accidentally left a few items in the unit when we left and the management company was so nice that they mailed them to us! The bus stop to catch the FREE bus is only one block walk and was used by all! We had 6 adults and 4 children and had plenty of space. The only thing to consider is that noise (people talking) from the living room will travel up to the loft area, so if you plan to put the kiddos in there to go night-night while the adults stay up late, it doesn't really work that well. The place was well stocked with everything you need! Grill worked great too!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

I was lucky enough to meet the owner personally during the stay. The owner was doing a bit home-improvement whenever he could, maintaining this condo like a model home yet full of awesome amenities. The outdoor jacuzzi surely helped us relax and get ready for the next day. Walking distance to the main lodge is definitely doable in snowboard boots, but not in the skier boots. I will definitely come back here:)Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The checkin/checkout process was a breeze. The owner paid a lot of attention to details into making this home welcoming for renters, from the pre-lit christmas tree, chocolate in candy dishes, to the LCDs in every room! Definitely will want to rent from again! I'm already making referrals to friends and family.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: We keep looking for new ways to surprise our guests with something that they did not expect. Thanks for staying with us and for the great review!

I have vacationed in Mammoth for the last 15 years with family and friends. The size of our group is large and we look for options when staying together. This location was the finest and most equipped in my history. We had a small issuse with a fixture and called the repair person he was there within an hour and was completed within an half hour. I would recommed the location to anyone wanting a worry free vacation.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I cant speak highly enough of the condo and the location everything was just perfect we even built a snowman and when it snowed christmas day we were all very moved. To find a place over the internet was scarey enough but to find one and everything just went like clockwork from picking up the key to the map to find our home away from home was just to easy thank you to the staff you deserve praise and this family had the best christmas ever if anyone ever wants to contact me about these rentals just send an email i cant rate this place high enough thank you for the most wonderful christmas of our life.Did you find this review helpful? Manager info
Year Purchased: 2006
About: Born in 1953, I was always fascinated with skiing which I finally learned in 1975. During my many trips to Mammoth, I fell in love with the area and vowed to own my own place there some day when I could afford it. My dream eventually came true. As a youngster, I was fascinated with electronics and studied it all the time. The hobby was expensive so I got my first job at age 14 washing dishes to support my hobby. Soon thereafter, I moved up to a wholesale bakery where I worked 20-30 hours per week to support my hobby while going to school full time. Upon graduation from high school, I got my first job in the electronics industry installing and repairing car telephones. This was in the days long before cellular telephones when the car phone took up most of the trunk of the car and cost thousands of dollars. Soon thereafter, I started working on two way radios where I worked on communications systems for the US Marshall, police departments and thousands of businesses. At age 21, I started my own company selling and servicing two-way radios. To this day, I am still running the same operation and love what I do. The only unfortunate aspect is that I have not figured out how to do it in Mammoth and make enough money to live in Mammoth full time.
Why Solstice:
Although I already owned a unit at The Village At Mammoth, I wanted something that would provide a more relaxed atmosphere and accommodate a larger number of people. We often invite friends and family to visit with us at Mammoth so we quickly outgrew our unit at The Village. However, most units in Mammoth have outdoor parking which in winter time is a major hassle whenever it snows, so we wanted the heated underground parking. Although I like the convenience of The Village, the large amount of activity often prevented us from truly being able to relax in Mammoth. Solstice is peaceful, quiet and remote enough that we encounter wildlife that does not visit The Village. We wanted to teach our little girls about the great outdoors which is in far greater abundance at Solstice.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
When skiing at Mammoth, Solstice is the ultimate for rest and relaxation. Located on 16th hole of the Sierra Star Golf Course, it is a short 1 minute drive or 2 minute free shuttle ride to the Little Eagle Lodge from the bus stop located about 500' from the condo. The convenience of the location makes it easy to get around town to eat out or we can cook in the fully equipped kitchen in our unit. With the playing cards, poker chips, numerous games, food supplies, the custom artwork, large flat screen TVs, DVDs and all the other amenities we put in our unit, it is truly our home away from home, a place to rest, relax and enjoy! All our guests receive a free surprise gift to which our guests claim that it is a true 'deal maker!' Solstice is a beautiful new condominium project, placed in the middle of the Sierra Star golf course, and just a short ride from Eagle Express (chair 15). Surrounded by woods, the complex is situated between the 16th fairway where every unit has wonderful views, and the clubhouse conveniently located across the street. For access to the slopes, or just getting around town, leave the car at home, and catch the free town shuttle from the nearest stop, just a 1/2 block from your front door. The 3 bedroom plus a loft units all have a convenient ground level entrance which leads to the main, 2nd floor living area, and a 3rd floor master bedroom. Amenities of Solstice include a year-round outdoor Jacuzzi, secure underground parking with elevator access to the main level and clear crisp mountain air!
