March 2010 - Our family just spent a week in this wonderful condo. It's clean, smelled fresh and full of amenities. We have seen other condos in Chac-ca and this one was defnitely one of the nicest. There were plenty of towels supplied as well as kitchen accesories, bottled water, games and books. Having the condo pool right outside your door is wonderful and having access to the Reef Club across the street gives you options of different pools and the beach. We also did the all inclusive food and drinks across the street as well. Perfect way to spend vacation. I would definitely recommend this condo.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My family (grandma and grandpa, two sons with their wifes and a total of three children 4 years old and younger) just returned from a week's stay in Donna's condo at Chac Ha. We actually had two condos next to each other. Donna's condo was perfect. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed - even a dishwasher. I love the open floor plan of the condo - it felt very spacious compared to the other one we rented. There was plenty of room for all nine of us when we visited from the other condo. Donna's unit is perfectly located in the small Chac Ha complex. The condo pool is just steps away which allowed the adults to stay at the pool while the children had their naps. We seemed to end up at the condo pool at the ned of every day before we went to dinner. We used to Reef Resort across the street every day and it was very convenient to the condo when we needed to run back from the beach to get something. We walked to downtown Playa del Carmen and back several times with the kids in strollers. My children went running every day to Playa and back. We met some of the owners of the other condos in the complex at the pool and they were very friendly and interesting to talk to although most of the time we had the pool all to ourselves. There is a wonderful shallow area areound the side of the deep pool which was safe for the small children - even the 1 year old - and my adult children could play ball in the deep portion. Donna was very helpful with providing information to us before our trip. You do need an umbrella since it seems to rain frequently although not long in duration. She was very accomodating by allowing our one son and his family to stay later than the check-out time since their plane was late in the day. I wholeheartly recommend the condo complex and Donna's condo in particular. I wish I was back there right now.

Just returned from a too short stay ~ and would go back in a heartbeat! Our group enjoyed the amenities, secure locaation, and relaxing poolside at day's end! Look forward to another visit soon.

APRIL 2006 What a BEAUTIFUL place to stay. There 7 in our group (3 adults, 3 teens and 1 child) and we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the pool outside the door and the beach at the Reef Club across the street. We felt VERY safe in the condo and the location. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend this to others. Thank you Donna for sharing your condo with us, we enjoyed it immensely.

Donna, What a great stay our family had at your condo. As some may be, initially we were a little scepticle about renting, but now that we have completed our trip, we would not hesitate for a second to do exactly the same condo stay. We had a wonderful time in our condo in Playa del Carmen. The condo is everything Donna's description said it was and more. It is very well kept, clean and bright. Our family had never used VRBO before and I was quite nervous initially. Donna was very accessible and helpful when I contacted her. Not only would I recommend her condo but we will likely be back again one day ourselves.

We just got back from spending 2 weeks over Christmas at Donna's beautiful condo. It was amazing. You can tell that Donna has spent a lot of time making her condo feel like a home away from home for guests, while giving them a taste of Mexico. This condo was perfect for our family of 5, but could easily accomodate 3 more. The condo feels much bigger than what the photos show. The location is awesome...you feel very safe in this quiet spot, yet the nightlife is just a 20min walk away. We also had the condo pool pretty much to ourselves so we spent a lot of time there relaxing and playing games that we found in the condo. We definately plan on coming back and highly recommend Donna's condo. She's a pleasure to deal with, as is her property manager Carmen. They both really care about making your stay the best.

A very nice condo, with all the things we needed for a comfortable stay - everything from drinking water through laundry supplies down to sand toys for the kids to take to the beach. Kitchen is spacious and has all the tools if you want to cook. The condo and surrounding are kept very clean. We saw iguanas, geckos, many birds and even a couple of small animals we didn't recognize from the back porch. The pool was very refreshing and just steps from the condo. Recommended nearby restaurants include Las Brisas (Mexican seafood, $, Calle 4 Norte near Quinta Avenida), Las Mananitas (Italian+Mexican, $$, on Quinta Avenida around Calle 4 or 6), and La Parilla (broad Mexican menu, $$, Quinta at Calle 8), Yakche (Mayan, $$$, Calle 8 near Quinta) and La Tarraya (Mexican, $, on beach at end of Calle 2) Avoid restaurant Las Pinatas near ferry terminal at end of Avenida B. Juarez - tried to rip us off thinking we didn't speak Spanish and then made up ever-changing excuses. Taxis were very easy to catch out front, or across the street at the Reef Club. The Reef Club VIP card was very handy for days when we wanted to lie on a lounge chair in the shade while kids played in the sand without having to go to into town. Bring lots of sunscreen! We would definitely choose to stay here again when we return to Playa del Carmen.

Donna, Our stay at yur condo in Playa Del Carmen in March 2005 was wonderful. Your condo is clean, beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed the use of the Reef Club and we walked to 5th Ave. every night. We also liked the pool at the condo and it was very relaxing to sit on the patio and listen to the birds. Hi Donna, This was our first family vacation to Mexico (mid March 2005) and we had a wonderful time staying at your place! So much nicer to have a beautiful condo to relax in than a hotel room. The Reef Club beach was wonderful & the Playa resturants and shops were an adventure all week, Tulum is a great tour and Xcaret was my favorite. Our only regret is not being able to have a couple more days in "Paradise" to lay on the beach or go snorkel more. I was a little nervous about using VRBO , but everything was as you say in your condo info, the maids were great, the patio was our favorite spot to drink our morning coffee and relax. Donna, We really enjoyed your condo. It's actually nice to be able to relax on vacation. Your staff is great. Traveling with older teenagers it was really nice to spread out. The pool was quiet and relaxing. Mornings on the patio listening to the golfers and watching the wildlife was entertaining. It was a great home base for everything we did. The Reef Club was a great help in arranging tours and renting a car. The short walk to Playa opened up so many other experiences along with the ferry to Cozumel. We had a great vacation and highly recommend your home to others.

Donna, Playa Del Carmen is truly paradise. Your condo was just the right touch for our ten year anniversary. The location is perfect for access to the town, and the pool is great. Dear Donna, We had a great time in Playa del Carmen! Being on vacation with three small kids, the condo / Reef Club combination proved to be perfect. Your apartment is very comfortable and nicely decorated; it contained everything we needed. Also, the maid service was very good. And last, but not least the beaches in Playa are just gorgeous!
