Our family of four enjoyed our 3 night stay in Venice. The location was great for transportation, I thought it would be noisy but it was very quiet and we slept well. The apartment was clean and had what we needed. The 2 bathrooms were an added bonus with 2 tween age girls! I would recommend this apartment to friends.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Dear Suzanne, thank you very much for your review. We are very happy that your stay in Venice was pleasant. Our best wishes Rita and Matteo

My friends and I stayed at this property for 4 days. It is a wonderful, clean apartment and an ideal location. It is in Santa Croce, so you are close to many of the historical sites, beautiful churches and vaporetto stops. It is close to the Train and Bus terminals too. The owners were very helpful, helping us with our luggage and showing us the neighborhood. It was a wonderful trip! Only two regrets - 1) wish our trip to Venice was longer and 2) wish we had backpacks (the bridges are tough to maneuver rolling suitcases).Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Hello Charlene, thanks for your beautiful review. I'm very pleased that you had a nice stay in Venice. It was a pleasure to have you in our apartment. My best wishes Rita Dl

This was our first trip to Venice with our 2 kids 6 and 10. This house was an excellent place to stay. A quick walk from Pizzale Roma to the front door and quite easy to find if hubby listened to the clear explanations that was provided :). We were well received and received a lot of helpful explanations. The hous is spacious, clean and bright. Strongly recommended!!!Recommended for: Families with young children.
Owner response: Dear Assunta, thanks for your review. I'm very glad that your stay in Venice has been nice and that you have a good memories of your vacation. My best wishes Rita

Our family of 5 (childrens' age 21, 19 & 16 yrs old) stayed for 3 nights in this lovely apartment during our visit to Venice in Dec 2011. It was easy to book as Rita answered all our questions promptly. She even sent a coloured and detailed map and so getting to her place was no problem at all. Location is excellent with plenty of shops, restaurants and supermarket all very nearby..........and almost next to the train station. The apartment is spotlessly clean and spacious, charming and modern. It's nicer than the photos. The kitchen is very well equipped for us to prepare our evening meals. Venice was cold in December and we looked forward to return to a nicely warmed up place (heater working well ) in the evening. In fact, everything in the apartment worked perfectly, from the heater, to the showers, to the washing machine, to the coffee maker! We can feel that owner takes pride in making the apartment as comfortable as possible for its guests. The 2 bathrooms were an added bonus as most apartments we stayed had only one. It cut down a lot of waiting time to use the bathroom. We enjoyed Venice very much and this lovely, spacious apartment has made our stay even more memorable. Thank you for having us, Rita!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, pet owners, sightseeing.
Owner response: thank you very much for your review, I'm glad that your stay in Venice in my apartment was very nice for you. My best wishes Rita

We just spent a week-one of most wonderful of our lives- in Venice and the apartment helped make us feel like we lived there. We did not want to leave! The location could not have been better. We arrived to the train station an hour earlier than planned and Matteo met us to drop the luggage, and while waiting for the cleaners to finish took us on a tour of the neighborhood to locate the COOP market and learn our way around. Four of us adults were very comfortable and we cooked most of our meals there, though we did take up Matteo's recommdarion to eat at La Zucca one night and it was delicious. The apartment has everything you need to feel at home, and is literally across the bridge from the train station and all the Ferrovia vaporetto stops. A short walk to the Ghettto, Cannaregio, and we happened upon Campo Santa Marghuerita our 1st night, a great place with shops and bars and many people out strolling. We had sunny weather everyday, though cold, which we expected, but what a great time of year to come to Venice. NO crowds or lines, and beautiful Christmas lights everywhere. We were so fortunate to have found this apt and hope to come back again someday soon. We recommend it highly and can't imagine a better place in Venice.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
Owner response: thank you very much for your beautiful rewiew. We are very happy that your stay in Venice was nice. We hope to see you again. Our best wishes Rita & Matteo

We just spent three weeks at this wonderful apartment and we would love to rent it again. The place is warm, clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty of room for the two of us and enough extra space to accommodate an unexpected guest who dropped in for a couple of nights. The location is ideal, close too all transportation centers. We were greeted by Matteo, a charming and generous host who made sure we were well settled in. The apartment became a welcoming home base for us to return to after days of exploring the magnificent city of Venice. We cant wait to go back.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Dear Nancy, thank you very much for your beautiful review, we are very happy that you were so well in our apartment. Our house it'll be always open for you. We hope to see you again. Our best wishes Rita & Matteo

We stayed here the last 2 nights of our trip to Italy, and well 2 nights was not enought, Venice is an amazing city and this appartement was a fantastic place to stay. A quick 5-10 min walk from Pizzale Roma (bus station) to the front door and easy to find. Just beware if it is your first time to Venice pack light. The steps on the bridge with heavy bags sucks. The owner was awesome very helpfull answering all our questions, gave resteraunt advise and even took us on a small tour for about 15 min or nearby amenities it was awesome. Not expected at all but very appreciated. Made me not want to leave Venice. Not far at all from Rialto bridge and St Marco, shops and resteraunts close by, and 3 mins from the train station. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Highly recommended!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We were three couples traveling together and this was our first stop. After a long flight, the directions to get to the apt. were easy. Matteo met us and provided storage for our luggage until the apt. was ready. Meanwhile he oriented us to the area about groceries, restaurants, etc. The apt. was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities. We cooked breakfast and dinner there for our three days and enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood. It is very accessible to the train station and water buses, as well as very walkable to San Marco Sq. Matteo was very helpful. There is no Wi-Fi at the apt. and we had to walk to the foot bridge to have access. Would recommend this apt. Thank you Rita and Matteo.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers.
Owner response: we are very happy that your stay in Venice was nice, for us it was a pleasure to host the people so friendly and kind. Our best wishes for everything Rita&Matteo
