We spent a very nice weekend in Eugene at the East Campus Cottage. Great location! Used the available backyard BBQ and fixed a lovely dinner. The house was clean, comfortable and everything as advertised. Thank you very much-- we'll be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We stayed here in November while visiting family. The kitchen is well stocked & roomy enough and the beds were quite comfortable & house is well kept. The firewood in the garage was not accessible as promised and the refund of security deposit was a week slower than promised but snafus can happen & there is central heat. Otherwise a good deal & great location for 4. The owner is responsive & easy to work with - we would rent again in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

East Campus Cottage was the ideal base of operations for our nostalgic return to Eugene after graduating from the U of O and following careers to the big city. Superb location close to everything yet in a nice residential neighborhood. Fully outfitted for all our needs, with thoughtful touches besides. Clean and well-maintained, kid- and dog-friendly. We plan to return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

My parents and I stayed here in May 2010. We absolutely loved the house, and Sara could not have been nicer or more helpful. We immediately felt at home, and didn't want to leave at the end of our stay. The house is in a quiet, safe, and pretty neighborhood just a few blocks east of the University of Oregon and a few blocks south of the Willamette River. The beds are comfy, the wifi works like a charm, nice TV, the kitchen is nicely stocked, and the washer/dryer was a welcome bonus. The bathroom is fine, although shower only and not a lot of space around the sink if you are packing lots of cosmetics. No unpleasant surprises at all-- we were very pleased with everything and would return in a heartbeat. The house is older, but charming, quiet, private, and pleasant. Sara was wonderful to deal with. It was absolutely great, and at $120 per night it was not only the best housing deal in Eugene, it was the best deal of our entire trip.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
