  We all had a great time and many memories for our Thanksgiving holiday get away .Everyone loved the house and the views of the lake ;accommodations could not have been any better,we all really enjoy outdoors,there were no bugs, snakes and other kind of pests. We would most definitely recommend this place, property was elegant designed, beautiful clean and well maintained. we will be back!.l

  We were a group of 4 couples who get together for Labor Day every year. This was one of the best houses we have stayed in! Very clean and neat...the house is even better than the photos. The kitchen was unbelievably equipped--I've never stayed in a house that had sharp knives! This one DID. The porch was a wonderful place to relax. All beds were good. We rented a pontoon from the place near the church and had a great time on the water. I would highly recommend staying here.

  The home was clean, beautiful and well thought out. The game room provided hours of fun for my family and I when we were not busy at a waterfall or swimming hole. The views at this home are soothing and beautiful. We played games at the dining room table at night with the windows open so we could feel the cool mountain breeze and hear the rushing sound of the creek below. If you like to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and relax, this is the place to go. The mountain road is a bit tricky but after a day of driving, we got used to the ride easily. Sleep, nap and relax in this gorgeous home. If you have the time go to Sliding Rock swimming hole in Cashiers.The mini falls and swimming hole are beautiful, close by and fun to wade in.

  This home was perfect for us, just two couples, but room for more!! Quiet and peaceful home on a cove of Lake Glenville. Perfectly clean accommodations and great deck to eat on and enjoy the sound of a nearby waterfall!! Randy called the second day to make sure we were okay. The beds were terrific, floor to ceiling windows that made us feel we were living in a tree house!!! Close to pontoon boat rental and Cashiers! Had a great week in North Carolina, got away from the Texas heat!!!

  What a wonderful relaxing three weeks in a fabulous home! As soon as we drove in the driveway we knew the home was going to be more than expected. Although the photos were great, they were not able to capture the true beauty of the location. The setting was perfect with the mountain and lake views, the lovely landscaping, and with the sound of the waterfall. The house was gorgeous, and spacious and was beautifully decorated with great indoor and outdoor space and it was immaculate when we arrived . It was obvious that great planning had gone into the building of this home with an effort to preserve the natural beauty of the land. It was much more than we expected. This is a perfect place to relax, explore, and appreciate the beauty of God's creation. We HIGHLY recommend this home for a vacation location. It is an amazing place and we hope to return again. We have no reservations recommending this home to others. Thanks Randy for letting us enjoy your lovely home.

  Wonderful home that has many comforts. As mentioned in other reviews, photos do not do the home justice . Home is well maintained and it is evident that the home's owner takes great pride in this property. The floor plan of the home is comfortable and well designed. Lots of room to play, but cozy too. Hope to return soon!!!!

  What a wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. The house was beautiful and with the views of the lake and the sounds of the creek it was unbeleiveable. The lake and excellent hiking are right out the door and provided family fun that will not soon be forgotten. We have rented many cabins in the N.C. mountains over the years but this one beat them all. I believe it is the owners attention to detail that puts this cabin over the top. We will definitely be back.

  My husband and I so enjoyed our month stay at your wonderful rental this past August. So private! And a fabulous view of Lake Glenville. The house is not only lovely and comfy but so well equipped. Our daughter and her family, including two small boys came for a visit and the trails, lake access, pool table and movies were all a big hit. We rented a boat on two occassions, toured the lake and went water skiing. Loved the many area waterfalls and Highlands. Wonderful vacation. I highly recommend your rental. We will be back.

  The photos shown on VRBO just don't do justice to this gorgeous home! From the lodge-style entry to every corner in this home, it is obvious that the owner has gone above and beyond to provide a more than pleasant stay. The wood-slatted ceiling, stacked stone fireplace and 2-story wall of windows greet you in the great room adjoined by a true chef's kitchen complete with every gadget to make cooking a joy. This home is appointed throughout with beautiful armoires, dressers and chests, dreamy bedding----all above and beyond any vacation home rental imaginable. The beauty and serenity of this area is only surpassed by the details provided in this home. I have rented thru VRBO, Cyberrentals, and HomeAway many times for family get-aways, and have never been disappointed, but this rental far surpasses any rental accomodations we have rented, and the owner was a delight to deal with. I cannot wait to get back!!!!!
