We enjoyed our stay at Casa Terlingua and give it 2 BIG thumbs up - here's why. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Great mountain views (particularly at sunset). Great location - just down the hill from the Starlight and other entertainment. And Elizabeth was VERY easy to work with. Casa Terlingua is conveniently located within about a 20 minute drive to Big Bend National Park - we drove there every day of our visit. There are lots of different activities available including hiking, biking, horseback riding, canoeing/rafting and much more. Casa Terlingua made a GREAT home base for all of our adventures. We look forward to our next visit. Thanks Elizabeth.

We stayed 2 nights at Casa Terlingua in early October to celebrate our birthdays. What we loved most about the casa is it's locaton. Very close to everything, but also very private. So we could be right in the middle of the action when we wanted to, but when we wanted to have quiet private time it was just a short walk or drive back to the casa. Super clean, well appointed, AMAZING views. Great library with books on area subjects. We would definately stay here again.
Owner response:When we where raising our family at the Casa, few people knew we lived there, dispight our business affiliations and large staff. Even the yard Sale did not reveal our location. Point being, this home seems to blend right into the terrian, snuggling with it's guests while gazing through a View Master of Big Bend! We are always happy to hear from saticfied visitors. This place has always made us wish to never leave.

We stayed at Casa Terlingua for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. It is the closest home to Big Bend National Park you can find, only about 10 minutes away. It is very spacious and cozy. Big kitchen - we stayed in and cooked almost every night. The only thing we wish we'd have done is we wish we brought more DVDs, since there's no TV, only a DVD player. Perhaps the owner can provide some DVDs for the visitors! Otherwise, we LOVE this place.
Owner response:Casa Terlingua has built a library of classic and area related books. travel guides and field guides as well as an entertaining DVD collection. In addition, the Television plays CD's as well, so bring your favorite tunes if you wish. Thank you to our guest for sharing this special Home!
