The unit was easy to access, in a secure well-maintained building, located close to public transit (light rail to airport, trains, buses all within a couple blocks) overall a great base for exploring Seattle and beyond without a car (a park space is included if you do bring a car). The unit is modern, has nice finishes in bathroom and kitchens, comfortable and attractive furnishings and well appointed with WiFi Internet, air conditioning and electronics. The kitchen had everything we needed: enough plates, coffee mugs, cutlery, & silverware that we could load the dishwasher but not have to run it each day. There are pots and pans to prepare meals, and both French press and coffee maker for morning coffee. We did not spend a lot of day time at the unit, but the weather was warm enough that the air conditioning was a necessity when we arrived back in the evenings. The owners are well organized and appointed the unit well, including making access logistics convenient. A nearby fire house handled more calls (noise) than we would have liked during the night. The air conditioning was important so we could keep the windows closed at night to reduce the fire trucks sirens. The view to Elliott Bay and West Seattle was enjoyable to wake up to each morning. Overall we were happy with our stay and would recommend it.

The location is great and the condo is well stocked with everything we needed for a great stay in Seattle. Walk to Pike Place Market, baseball field, and the international district... it was perfect. With the reasonable rates, I'm sure we'll be back!

My family and I had a great time at this property. It is clean, well-outfitted, in a clean, secure, well-maintained building. Includes a parking space in the garage; it was a tight fit for our standard SUV but it worked fine. The view of Elliot Bay and the Olympics is beautiful. It is within easy walking distance of the International District (don't miss Uwajimaya supermarket!) and my (now) favorite coffeehouse, Zeitgeist near Pioneer Square. It is a bit of a hike to Pike Place Market, or shopping downtown, but we did it several times; there are also free city buses right down the street. If you like TV, there is a big one. The kitchen has everything we needed, plenty of towels, blankets, etc. For me, though, the best thing about staying here was the owner, Roger. He was professional, reliable, fair, helpful, kind, and very patient with us. Thanks, Roger!

We recently stayed at this location (June 2012) for our 1st trip to Seattle. We didn't know what to expect but thought the pictures online were nice and the place was affordable and didn't require us to put down a deposit. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the building was and the cleanliness of the condo. The view was amazing! The place is nicely decorated and conveniently had a washer/dryer in the condo, which was very beneficial for us traveling with our 2 kids! The condo is convenient to the bus stops and also the light rail. We rented a car and parked it in the garage which was such a great convience since parking in Seattle can be a bit of a pain. We ended up using public transportation more or just walked to places. The condo was also close to the International District which we enjoyed! They had the best Asian food/market! The rental transaction with Roger went smoothly and he was very responsive whenever I called or emailed him with questions. We really enjoyed Seattle and the condo! We will definitely be back! Thanks Roger!

We loved the cleanliness, convenience, and amenities of the unit. It made a perfect temporary home in a cozy flat with all the necessities and a few luxuries too. This was good value for the price. We would definitely return and recommend it to friends. Thank you Roger, you were wonderful too.

WoW! This place is wicked cool

This is our 4th trip to Seattle, each time we have stayed at a different VRBO location. This trip was by far the best accommodation of any of the previous trips. The Condo is AWESOME, the View is Spectacular, It is immaculately clean, well kept and the TV is HUGE. The owner was great to work with on getting our dates, his instructions for entry were spot on and the Keyless entry system makes getting in and out very convenient. Payment was easy and the Optional Deposit insurance was great since there was no need to have several hundred dollars of deposit tied up. We needed to check in early, and the owner was very helpful in accommodating our needs. Next time we come to Seattle, there will be no need to shop for a place to stay; this is my choice from now on!

The condo is in a good location and is impeccably clean. It is just as it appears in the photos. It was really nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit and free underground, secure parking. Roger was very helpful and welcoming. The balcony is tiny and feels a little unstable, but I think it's just the way it was constructed. If you're looking for a good place for happy hour or tapas, Ipanema (near Pike Place) is fantastic! We had a lovely time at this place and would definitely return.

Just as the listing described. This place was very comfortable, fully furnished with everything (except the wine), close to the bus stops, close to markets, close to the Safeco stadium, close to super restaurants, etc. We walked to the Seattle Mariners baseball game and it took about 15 minutes, didn't have to fight for parking. What more could you ask for? The owner met us at the unit and he couldn't have been any nicer. Definitely deserves another stay should we ever visit Seattle again. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Charming condo! Perfect for a couple or small family looking for a get-away in downtown Seattle. All the conveniences of home. Comfortable beds, walk in closet, large bathroom. Location is within walking distance to downtown shopping and the waterfront. Gorgeous views of downtown. I’d recommend this condo to anyone looking for a central location to all the amenities Seattle has to offer.

We truly enjoyed your beautiful seventh floor condominium. Thank you also for your wonderful sense of interior design, home-like comfort and the bed! The bed was the very best, I melted each night into a full night's sleep for the first time in many months. Loved the view, especially with that full moon in the early Friday morning next to the Pioneer Square tower. Being a photography teacher I took several shots of that moonlight against the tower, and would be glad to send you a photo. You had everything we needed in the bath, bedroom, kitchen, with the exception of Coffee. But how do you choose the best coffee for guests when there are so many venture companies including Starbucks? I purchased Tully's for our stay, and bought Seattle's Best, Seattle Coffee Works for friends at home, figuring that everyone can buy Starbucks in Boise. We went to Salty's while visiting friends on the West Seattle shore Thursday, and Ivars restaurant Friday night. Both presented great food and waterfront ambience. The security of the building and parking spot were very comforting. Again, I am so sorry we called you Thursday night for a trivial TV problem. We were focused on the remote brand name same as the flat screen, instead of pursuing the cable box remote. We will be certain to contact you for another stay at your property the next time we're in Seattle!

We have stayed in many vacation homes and hotels and would rate this place as a 5 star quality. The description of the condo is true to its writing, everything in the condo is new, utensils were well equipped and appliances are very functional. The 50 inch LCD TV is the spotlight. We enjoyed a good rest, sipping on a glass of wine and watch some TV after a event filled day of sightseeing. The location of this condo is close to everything we planned on doing. The owner met us at the door and gave us honest opinion of the neighborhood, downtown lifestyle, and best ways to the attractions. This experience was unprecedented to us, we will mark this place as the place to return on our next trip to Seattle.

We were cheerfully greeted by the owner that gave us useful and interesting tips on things to do in Seattle. We then thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days in the condo. Overall: 8/10 Pros: - Apartment is well taken care of, does not look used or run down in the least - Presence of a parking spot, which is a big big plus, wifi is available too - Location within walking distance to most city attractions and the international district - Full set of cooking utensils, good fridge. - Tastefully decorated and overall well equipped apartment. Lots of storage space too Cons: - There's a bedroom and then the second couple will have to sleep on an inflatable bed - Due to the proximity to the port and it generally being a big city, exterior noise may be bothersome to light sleepers at night even with the windows closed - Well, I'm just being picky here, but the washing machine/dryer are out of date

Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

Wonderful place to enjoy Seattle from!

This cozy little condo was a wonderful experience for us. The view of Seattle from the balcony was simply awesome, and it was three short blocks away from King Street Station. From there, you can go just about anywhere in Seattle or the surrounding area. On top of that, it is in the "free ride zone" for the downtown Seattle area. So you can jump on a bus, and go anywhere downtown for free. (Seattle has a very good mass transit system for the US.) A wonderful Asian/American market is just 5 blocks away, and it was an experience in itself. In this condo, you can go shopping there, for just about anything you can think of, including fresh fish and sushi. There were plenty of cooking materials in the condo that you could then cook up a gourmet meal, if you chose to stay home. Yet, if you choose to go out, there is a wonderful selection of restaurants in the downtown area, and some of them are very unique. A free ride to the restaurant, and another one back. There is just about any type of food that you can imagine in walking/riding distance. We were met by the owner upon arrival, which we thought was very considerate. We had a late arrival, and the initial meeting was very helpful. The condo was clean and very nicely kept, and had just anything that you would need during your stay. The pictures shown were just like what the accommodations were that we experienced. There's also parking if you had a rental car that was inside and gated. We couldn't have had a nicer place to stay in Seattle!

My husband and I were really satisfied with this condo. It was very clean and it was stocked with everything you would need to have for a comfortable stay. The owner provided excellent customer service. The bed was very comfortable and that was very important to us. There was one area that we would suggest the owner address, the need for a safety bar in the tub. Older people need to have something to hold onto when they are entering and exiting the tub. Other than that one thing, it is an excellent place to stay while in Seattle. Yes, we would highly recommend this condo if you are going to be in Seattle. We walked to Pike Market Place to get our fresh seafood, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants on the way to the market. There is a nice view of Elliott Bay from the bedroom and the living room. Be sure to bring your camera for some good shots at dawn and dusk.

If you are in Seattle as a tourist you couldn't ask for a more wonderful place to stay! So close to everything. The views are amazing. The condo has everything you could possibly need. So much nicer than any 5 star hotel and felt like home. The owner makes you feel so welcome. Would highly recommend this condo. Three blocks down same street to Starbucks/bakery/grocery/Mariners/subway. Four blocks to water front. Shopping and restaurants within a block.

What a great place to stay when you are visiting Seattle. Not only was the location ideal but the condo has all the upscale amenities one needs to make their stay that much more enjoyable. A touch of class was apparent throughout the condo, yet it was comfortable and very well kept - a sign that this caring owner understands the vacation rental market and the needs of his/her guests. Roger, met us at the condo and showed us around and explained how everything worked. The secure wireless internet was a plus to read up on tourist spots (as well as to catch up on email). The indoor garage parking with in-out privileges was much cheaper and safer than any of the outdoor and more expensive local parking lots (that don't even offer in-out privileges). We took the short walk to visit the International District and to Pioneer Square to take the Seattle Underground Tour. We drove to Pike Place and other tourist destinations. Great Condo - Great Location - Great Owner! You can't go wrong - stay here when you visit Seattle!

This place really has the most mazing view of the bay and located just a few blocks from the Pioneer Square and the International District. It is also only about 15-20 leisurely walk to the Pike Place Market and the Westlake shopping area. Four of us stayed two nights and it was very comfortable. The place was impeccably clean and everything in the kitchen and the linens were well stocked. Every evening, we went for strolls down the waterfront, stopping at the PP Market and Westlake. We also cooked dinner every night at the condo from the groceries we bought at various markets in the International District. We really enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely return to this condo whenever we visit Seattle! I highly recommend this place!!!

What a fantastic experience we had staying in this condo! The condo was stocked with everything we needed - the kitchen was sufficient, the bathroom had the softest, fluffiest towels, and stocked with plenty of items that we might've forgotten, and the bedroom was complete with extra blankets and an incredibly comfortable bed with soft sheets. We felt safe knowing there was a secure entrance and the car was tucked away in the secured underground parking space that was provided. Walking to the Mariner's game was easy and fast and so much more convenient than having to park. The location of the condo is ideal - mere minutes off the freeway and easily accessible to downtown. The unit itself was spotless when we arrived, and it was so nice that Roger met us at the unit, at our convenience. The process of inquiring, reserving, staying, checking out, and receiving our deposit back was very smooth and without a doubt we will be back. There is absolutely no reason for us to stay in a hotel as long as this unit is available! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us and allowing us to enjoy the best week ever.

I stayed at this rental for a weekend and just loved it! It was the perfect location for me because I was two blocks away from Uwajimaya so I could do some shopping and eat. Two blocks away is the light rail which was a life saver. The view was great, apartment very clean and they have everything you could ask for. I will be back again for sure!

The place really does have a spectacular view of the waterfront and downtown. Waking up to that view was tremendous. Staying here was much better than staying in a hotel. I had easy access to Pioneer Square, Downtown and the International District. Since I was in Seattle for work, the most useful part was getting great breakfasts and dinners. CJ's Eatery and Macrina were great for breakfast and the dinner fare is amazing. Etta’s and Sun Ya were great, and there are lots more that I didn’t get to try. The place was clean, and all the amenities worked well. The owner was great at answering questions about what I wanted. I would most definitely recommend this place to a friend and relative, and I hope to come back soon!

We stayed two nights at this condo in early may, what a wonderful experience. The owner met us at the door, helped us get settled in and showed us around. He has a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area, with suggestions on things to do, & unique places to eat. The condo is charming, well appointed and very comfortable. The memory foam mattress topper was really comfortable & we slept better than we do in our own home. The building felt very safe, with secure access to the doors and the parking garage. The parking garage is a bit small, but our Camry fit just fine. It was nice to have a designated parking space so there was never a need to look for an available space. Thanks again for a very enjoyable visit to Seattle
