  My family stayed here over the Thanksgiving holidays. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I have 4 children and we felt so safe. The large patio/balcony overlooks the pool. The beach was incredible and we were so close to activities going on but not on the main street with all the worries of traffic. The condo itself is completely updated and rooms are large with plenty of room. We will definitely return and Rodney, the owner, was so nice making sure everything was perfect. For sure, our family gives it a "10!"

  Buffett's Lair is an ideal getaway! It begins at check-in with a very friendly, helpful, and informed management staff who outlines all the available amenities and will even offer suggestions for dining options. The unit is equipped with everything visitors will need for a 'home away from home' experience, and some. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern and fully functioning appliances and kitchen wares. Bathrooms are clean, modern, and spacious. Bedrooms are equally spacious and have very comfortable beds and pillows. The unit is tastefully decorated with wall art and very comfortable furnishings, with a full dining table for family sit-down dinners and a breakfast bar for casual eating and drinks. The property is well away from the congestion of Seaside, but close enough for a quick trip to the grocery store, which is a very well stocked Publix that features excellent produce, meat, and seafood. Dining and retail options are equally close. Trips up and down highway 30A will take you to charming sea side communities, all within 20 or 30 minutes. The beach is pristine, with white sugar sand and crystal clear water that was very calm and warm during our stay. Ocean kayak and sailboat rentals are available right on the beach, and attendants will have you set up with chairs and an umbrella within moments of you stepping onto the sand. I am already planning my return trip!

  This property is one of the best kept secrets on 30A. We enjoyed a wonderfully restful week there in August of 2010 and are lamenting over the fact that we waited too long to book it for 2011. The owners are a delight to work with and the unit is so enjoyable. The unit is spacious and beautifully decorated. There are two great pools which can be seen from the unit's spacious patio. The proximity to the beach is amazingly close. We will return again (if we can learn to plan further in advance).

  My wife, kids (3 and 5), and I stayed here in May and had a great experience. We've been renting at Dunes of Seagrove for 5 years and decided to give a new unit a try. This one is impeccably clean with nice furnishings, comfortable beds, and plenty of space. The owner was great and was very responsive during the booking process. We've been going to Seagrove for 20 years and Dunes of Seagrove is by far my favorite place to stay (quiet and beautiful). Buffet's Lair is a perfect place for a family vacation to the Beaches of South Walton.

  First of all, let me say that this was our first time to this area and boy did we hit the jackpot! The condo was more than beautiful; it was spectacular! The rooms were spacious and so well decorated it was like being in a brand new condo. The TV's were fabulous (my husband was a big fan) and my kids thought the TV's at the end of each bunk were pretty cool. We also loved getting free DVD's for movie time after a long day playing at the beach or in the enormous pool. The patio off the main living area and master bedroom was so spacious and relaxing, we ate most of our meals outside. Even though the condo looks out over the pool, it was so quiet you would never know it. I can't say enough about the decor of the condo; it was so nice it looks professionally done! I almost did not want to write a review so that others would not find out about this hidden gem and we could keep it for ourselves. Besides the beauty of this place, the owner is super nice and so easy to work with. That was the biggest plus for us!! He was available for questions and even helped us out on things to do and see. We would definitely some back and certainly stay here without any question!! Thanks so much for making it easy to rent, being easy to work with, and having such a nice place to share; it certainly made our vacation even better! Tiffany (Alpharetta, Ga.)

  This condo is awesome! We had plenty of room and our son especially loved the bunk room. The master bedroom is huge. The balcony overlooks the two swimming pools which was super nice because our kids (who are excellent swimmers) swam while we had a glass of wine on the balcony. We definitely recommend this condo. The owner is very easy to work with.

  This unit was absolutely beautiful! It had everything we needed to make our stay stress free. We rented the free movies for our 5 year old - who, by the way, had a blast alternating each night between the top and bottom bunk bed. We would start at the beach in the morning and loved the fact that we had use of the beach chairs and umbrella, and end up at the pool in the afternoon. Met some great people and ate at some great restaurants up and down 30A. Drove into Destin one afternoon and were so thankful we stayed here instead of Destin!! This is layed back and relaxing without the commercialization of Destin. The owner was great to work with and really made you feel like he truely wanted you to have a great time. I will stay here again and recommened this particular unit to all my family and friends. Thanks for the great trip!

  Free wireless internet (saved $40), Free HD, Free Phone and everything was brand new!!! I have stayed in other units that had the bare minimum. This pool side unit on the first floor allowed us to keep an eye on the kids and the game at the same time. Never had to ride the elevator because the room was close to the one flight of stairs. The heated pool and hot tub was a plus. This place had everything we needed. Restaurants weren’t over crowded and traffic was minimal, unlike our trip into Destin. Overall, a very stress free trip!
